英語のポット(pot)の原義は壺や鉢。英語のpotには、カタカナ英語にあるような魔法瓶という意味はない。英語圏では魔法瓶は、バキュームフラスク (Vacuum flask、真空フラスコ)と呼ばれ、水差しはジャグ (英: jug )と呼ばれる。
「フラワーポット」などの語も英語にあり、植木鉢などの鉢も意味するが、英国では主に食品保存用のものを指す。
英語圏では深鍋や寸胴、釜といった形状の調理用具をポット（英: pot ）と呼び、日本でも洋食店などにおいて用いられる。パン（フライパン）よりも深さがあり、ジャグやボトルといった容器よりも広い開口部を持つものを指す。シチューポットやソースポット、パスタポットなど、用途に応じた名称が用いられる。
PUSHIM（プシン、本名：朴 冨心（박부심 、パク・プシン）、1975年11月26日 - ）は、大阪府出身の歌手。血液型はO型。在日韓国人。
1999年6月19日、ミニアルバム『Brand New Day』でデビュー。

Ego-Wrappin' (stylised as EGO-WRAPPIN') is a Japanese jazz and rock musical duo, composed of vocalist Yoshie Nakano and guitarist Masaki Mori. The group formed in Osaka in 1996, releasing their debut album Blue Speaker in 1998. The band gained national recognition with their cabaret and kayōkyoku inspired song "Midnight Dejavu (Shikisai no Blues)" (2000).
Ego-Wrappin' was formed in 1996 in Osaka. Originally the band focused their activities in the Kansai region,[1] performing at live houses alongside acts such as Mondo Grosso and Attica Blues. Initially, the group released music through the independent label Metro Crew Records, including their debut extended play Calling Me (1996).
In 1998, the band were featured in the soundtrack for the Eri Fukatsu-starring drama Kirakira Hikaru, covering The Beach Boys' "Disney Girls (1957)". In June of the same year, the band the band released their debut album, the English language Blue Speaker, through independent label RD Records, an Osaka-based subsidiary of Hip Land Music Corp. The album was successful on local Osaka area independent music charts, and was praised by musician Seiichi Yamamoto.
In 1999, the band released two extended plays: their first Japanese language extended play His Choice of Shoes Is Ill! in February, followed by Swing for Joy in November. A song from the extended play, "A Love Song", which featured Osaka ska band Determinations, received strong airplay on regional radio stations such as FM Ishikawa and FM North Wave (Hokkaido). From 2000, the band began performing concerts in Tokyo and other regions of Japan, outside of Kansai.
In 2000, the band came to national attention with their song "Shikisai no Blues", a cabaret and kayōkyoku song written in the style of 1960s jazz singer Mina Aoe. Originally the song was released as a part of the extended play Shikisai no Blues. When it was later released as a stand-alone single/extended play in 2001, it sold over 193,000 copies in Japan.
In May 2001, Ego-Wrappin' established their own sub-label of Toy's Factory called Minor Swing, and released their third album Michishio no Romance. This album, as well as Night Food (2002) and Merry Merry (2004) were commercially successful, all being certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Night Food featured the song "Kuchibashi ni Cherry" (2002), which was the theme song of the Nippon TV drama Shiritsu Tantei Hama Mike.
In 2006, Ego-Wrappin' released their fifth album On the Rocks!, and toured Europe for the first time, performing concerts in Denmark and Sweden as a part of the Tokyo Sound Revolution event. During the tour, Ego-Wrappin' formed a support band, The Gossip of Jaxx, who performed during the album's tour. In 2009, the band released Ego-Wrappin' and the Gossip of Jaxx: an album featuring music recorded with this support band. In 2010, the band released Sure Shot, a split single with rock band Brahman.
In 2014, Ego-Wrappin' performed the theme songs for the drama Reverse Edge: Ōkawabata Tanteisha.
LEODRAT released 1st single "gambit" on February 14 at Tower Records. In May of the same year, 1st Mini Album "Tidepool Singalong" was released from Ailet Records. Their first single "gambit" comes with two songs "rebirth" and "Southern cross".
In 2017, they participated in VA "In the Stage 5", who presided over THE NINTH APOLLO, and VA "VA. ZERO vol. 1," presided over WORLD WIDE records. In May of the same year, 4th demo "Rats, Kids and You" was released again at indiesmusic.com & live venue limited.
They released "gambit" as a 1st single in February 2018 as an independent product as TOWER RECORDS & indiesmusic.com limited sale. They released the 1st Mini Album "Tidepool Singalong" from Ailet Records in May of the same year.

The 5exit is a 3-piece melodic rock band from Osaka including Shogo - Bass/Vocals, UK - Guitar/Vocals, Keisuke - Drums/Chorus, which has been active nationwide as a weapon from the twin vocals associated with the beat full of galloping and exquisite chorus work. Jammed loony bin formed in 2011 is a 3-piece melodic band from Osaka Neyagawa including [Vo, Ba] Okamoto Takashi / [Gt, Vo] Ichimura Kakoshi / [Dr, Cho] Abe Tatsuhiko.
The jammed loony bin is steadily expanding its scope. From the original live house Neyagawa in Osaka Based on VINTAGE, they have appeared in a large number of live performances in Kansai, but has recently expanded the scope of activities nationwide. Kazufumi Miyazawa (宮沢和史 Miyazawa Kazufumi, born January 18, 1966) is the founder of the Japanese bands The Boom and Ganga Zumba. The former was noted in the 1990s for a fusion of rock, pop, and local Okinawan folk music. Miyazawa is responsible for virtually all lyrics and music for The Boom, who are best known for their 1993 hit song "Shima Uta."
In 2006, he founded the band Ganga Zumba which includes Marcos Suzano and incorporates Brazilian and other Latin American and Caribbean influences in its music.
In 2004, Hello! Project held a nationwide audition titled "Hello Pro Egg Audition 2004". Out of over 10,000 applicants, 31 girls were successful. Six out of seven members were part of that generation, while Sato Ayano joined the trainee group in 2009. During the last concert of 2010, Hello! Project announced a change in their trainee group. As part of this change, many older members completed their training, but were not added into the major groups within Hello! Project. Saho Akari was the last to complete her training. Up Up Girls originally consisted of six girls, later growing to seven with the late addition of Saho Akari. Their first event was held on May 1st of 2011.
From their formation to late 2012, all of their releases were under Up-Front Works until they were signed by T-Palette Records. Their first seven singles and the first album was released by Up-Front Works. They were transferred to Up-Front Create. The group is currently jointly managed by YU-M Entertainment and Up-Front Group. During 2015, Up-Front Group created a partnership with YU-M, a new agency. YU-M is their primary management while Up-Front Create is a producer of their releases.
Under YU-M, the group reached their dream of performing at Nippon Budokan. The company was able to afford the rental cost, but ran out of money for outfits and decorations. This resulted in the crowdfunding of over 12,000,000 JYP. The crowdfunding was successful, but they did not reach their goal of selling out the tickets and only filled a little over 4000 of Budokan's 14,000+ capacity.
1983年結成。当初は女性ボーカリストのJILLとギタリストの本田毅の2人のユニットという色彩が強く、バンド名もNOTHING PERSONALを名乗っていた。その後、元AUTO-MOD（一時並行して在籍）のベーシスト、渡邉貢とドラマーの藤田勉が加わり、1984年にバンド名をPERSONZに改名。新宿LOFTを中心としたライブ活動を展開する。1987年にメジャーデビュー。ドラマ『ママハハ・ブギ』（TBS）の主題歌「DEAR FRIENDS」や、オリコンチャートNo.1アルバム『DREAMERS ONLY』がヒットした。
1992年に本田が脱退。その後しばらく正式メンバーとしてのギタリストは不在であったが、1996年に元ガラパゴスの田中詠司が加入。2001年に田中が脱退した後、2002年から本田が復帰。以降、オリジナルメンバーで活動を続けている。2005年には、すべて新曲のライブでもレコーディングでもない世界初のDVDアルバム『RODEO DRIVE』を発表。この作品は編集無しの一発録りという、珍しい構成になっている。
フォークデュオのグレープでメジャーデビュー。「精霊流し」のヒットにより全国にその名を知られるようになった。ソロシンガーになってからも「雨やどり」「関白宣言」「親父の一番長い日」「北の国から〜遥かなる大地より〜」など、数々のヒット曲を生み出す。

スーパーキッズ・オーケストラ（SUPER KIDS ORCHESTRA、SKO）は、指揮者の佐渡裕が芸術監督を務める、兵庫県立芸術文化センターのソフト先行事業として2003年に設立された日本のジュニアオーケストラ。
2003年の兵庫県立芸術文化センターの開館前に佐渡裕が設立した、小学生から高校生までを集めた弦楽器によるオーケストラである。オーケストラのメンバーは毎年、厳しいオーディションを経て全国各地から集められ、これまでに延べ100人以上が参加している。

Rail Tracer was created by Kakeru in the spring of 2008, his first concert was held on October 22nd in Takadanobaba AREA at the beginning of the DIS ★ marionette concert .
In 2009 he announced the release of his first single Rose Cruel Scar 2009.07.08 followed the second single from Everlasting Life 2009.10.22 and released his first DVD Wings & Roses .
In December they released their second single La Neige (which contains only the song La Neige) and a first Maxi Single La Neige (which contains 3 songs). October 22, 2010 they released two singles, a digital road Road of the Dream and their fourth single Secret Eden .
In June 2011, the group changed its name: Scarlet Valse. The group also joined the Royal Rose Records label and welcomes a new drummer: Hiroki . They released their first single September 22, 2011 THE NAME OF VALSE.

『三四郎』（さんしろう）は、夏目漱石の長編小説である。1908年（明治41年）、「朝日新聞」に9月1日から12月29日にかけて連載。翌年5月に春陽堂から刊行された。『それから』『門』へと続く前期三部作の一つ。全13章。
九州の田舎（福岡県の旧豊前側）から出てきた小川三四郎が、都会の様々な人との交流から得るさまざまな経験、恋愛模様が描かれている。三四郎や周囲の人々を通じて、当時の日本が批評される側面もある。三人称小説であるが、視点は三四郎に寄り添い、時に三四郎の内面に入っている。「stray sheep」という随所に出てくる言葉が印象的な作品である。
東大（東京帝国大学）に合格し郷里の九州から上京した23歳の小川 三四郎は生真面目な堅物。たまたま列車に乗り合わせ、間違って相部屋にされた女性にも無用の気を遣い、別れ際に「貴方はよっぽど度胸のない方ですね」と詰られる始末。「女性」という生き物に対する免疫など全くない初心な青年だった。そんな三四郎は大都会・帝都東京の人の多さに辟易していた。ある日、講義に遅刻しかけた三四郎は近道として選んだ大学構内の池のほとりで団扇を手にした若く美しい女性里見 美穪子を偶然目にする。一目惚れし、毒気を抜かれ、すっかり講義に出る気をなくした三四郎は珍しくサボってしまう。講義をサボって抜け出した友人の佐々木 与次郎と出くわした三四郎は洋食屋「淀見軒」に誘われライスカレー（現在のカレーライス）を食べることになる。三四郎は与次郎から「つまらない講義に耳を傾けるより、世間の風というものを入れ給え」と忠告される。与次郎から同郷で理科大学（現在の理工学部）教師の野々宮 宗八が探していたと聞かされた三四郎は宗八に遭いに行き、同郷の誼で三四郎の実家から贈られた品々への礼を言われて自宅に誘われ、本郷を散歩することになる。7つ年上で30歳の宗八は散歩の途中に用品店で女物のリボンを購入する。家に招き入れられた三四郎は宗八の妹よし子と引き合わされる。宗八が購入したリボンはよし子への土産ではなく、かわりに櫛を渡されたよし子は子供に飴玉を与えるようだと兄を非難する。実験という仕事柄、夜になっても帰宅しないことをよし子から咎められていた宗八はよし子を邪魔にし、三四郎に相手させる。一方、与次郎が「先生」と慕う英語教師広田 萇の引っ越しが決まり、手伝うことになった三四郎は広田の新居で偶然にも美穪子と再会し名刺を渡される。三四郎は花は必ず剪って、瓶裏にながむべきものであると悟る。三四郎と美穪子は新居の掃除を二人で行うことになる。二階に上がった美穪子は空を見上げて雲の形に見とれていた。三四郎はそんな美穪子に惹きこまれていく。荷物を運び入れた与次郎も合流し、荷解きするうちに講義を終えた広田も帰宅する。与次郎は広田を「偉大なる暗闇」と評し、折角多くの書籍を読んでいるのにちっとも光らないとボヤく。一方、宗八も海外での高い評価に対し、国内では安い給料で雇われて穴蔵に閉じ込められていると評する。そんな与次郎の人物評に広田は君はせいぜい丸行灯で二尺程度を照らしているだけだと叱責する。美穪子が差し入れとして持ち込んだ大きなバスケットに一杯のサンドイッチを振る舞ううち宗八もやって来る。広田家は賑やかだった。与次郎は広田家の二階に居候するつもりでいた。話題が変わり、与次郎の翻訳に広田が難をつける。宗八が原文を問うとすかさず美穪子が英文を口にする。美しさだけでなく教養も光る美穪子に三四郎はますます関心を抱く。一方、宗八はよし子を里見家に居候させようとしていた。美穪子には兄が二人居たが上の兄は亡くなっていた。その兄と親友だったのが広田で、下の兄と同窓だったのが宗八だった。そして美穪子は野々宮家にたびたび出入りしていた。三四郎は団子坂の菊人形見物に誘われる。一方、広田が新居を借りるにあたり宗八から借りた金を返すため用立てた20円を預かった与次郎が馬券でスッてしまったと相談され、三四郎は仕送りから20円を立て替えてやる。菊人形見物に繰り出した美穪子、よし子、広田、宗八に同行した三四郎の一行は雑踏で物乞いや迷子とすれ違う。だが、広田も宗八も「場所が悪い」と関わり合いを避ける。すると美穪子は「気分が悪い」と言いだして三四郎を連れ出し、一行から離れる。「気分が悪い」というのは美穪子の口実に過ぎず、本当は「気分を害した」のだった。重苦しい曇り空を「大理石」と評する美穪子。二人がはぐれたことで宗八たちが慌てていると三四郎は心配するが、大きな迷子だからと美穪子は取りあわず、責任を持ちたがらない人たちだからと流してしまう。そして、三四郎に迷子の英訳として「stray sheep」だと教える。泥濘を避けるために置かれた石を三四郎はひらりと飛び越えるが美穪子は不安定な石に足を取られ、三四郎に抱きかかる形で倒れてしまう。美穪子は三四郎の腕の中で「stray sheep」と囁くのだった。講義に身が入らない三四郎はノートにstray sheepと書き殴るようになる。一方、与次郎は三四郎が立て替えた20円の工面をつけようとし、美穪子からアテを得たものの三四郎が来ないと渡さないと言われてしまう。里見家に赴いた三四郎は金は呼び出しの口実に過ぎず、美穪子に翻弄されていると怒りを感じてしまう。美穪子は預金通帳と印鑑を三四郎に渡し、好きなだけ使いなさいと告げる。また画家の原口の開く絵画展のチケットがあると美穪子は三四郎を誘う。そこで宗八と鉢合わせた美穪子は三四郎になにかを囁くフリをして宗八を愚弄する。そうした美穪子の態度に三四郎は怒りを感じてしまう。三四郎は美穪子に恋をしている自覚を持つが、美穪子の思いが誰に向いているか全くわからない。広田を訪ねた三四郎は広田は結婚というものに否定的で、恋愛についても達観した人物だということを知る。冬物を買いに出た三四郎は香水を買いに来た美穪子とよし子に偶然出会い、品定めを任される。風邪をこじらせて伏せった三四郎は美穪子が近々嫁ぐことが決まったと与次郎から知らされる。だが、相手は宗八ではなかった。真相を確かめるべく原口のアトリエを訪ねた三四郎はモデルをしている美穪子と対面し、金を返すと言い出す。美穪子は疲れた表情を見せるようなり原口に帰される。そこで三四郎は金は口実に過ぎず貴方に会いに来たのだと美穪子に告げる。三四郎が帰省する間に、美穪子は三四郎の知らない美穪子の兄の友人と結婚していた。三四郎と宗八は失恋したのだ。完成した原口の絵が評判となっていた。そこには池のほとりで扇子を手にした美穪子が描かれていた。原口は佐々木に売りたいと語るが、与次郎はもっと相応しい人物がいると絵の前に置かれた椅子に体を投げ出す三四郎をみやる。夫妻で会場を訪れた美穪子は三四郎に描かれた服装で原口が作品に取りかかった時期が分からないかしらと囁く。それは正しく三四郎が偶然美穪子を見初めた時期だった。そして、美穪子は三四郎が選んだヘリオトロープの香水を含んだハンカチを差し出す。失恋を与次郎に慰められた三四郎は絵は良いが題である「森の女」というのがいけないと語る。三四郎は絵に相応しい題は「stray sheep」と囁くのだった。
