実際にありそうで現実には存在し得ない風景や、
ひとつの絵の中に重力が異なる世界が存在するなど「ありえない世界」を描く、
エッシャーの唯一無二で“ミラクル”な作風は世界中の人々を魅了し続けています。
その独創的な世界は、同時代に活躍したどの画家とも交わらず、
いわゆる「芸術」の文脈からは外れた存在と見られてきましたが、
エッシャーの作り上げたビジュアルイメージはクリエイターだけでなく
数学者、建築家など幅広い専門家達へインスピレーションを与えてきました。
日本でも、1970年代に少年漫画誌で紹介されたことを機に大きなブームが起きています。
生誕120年を迎え「ミラクル エッシャー展」では、世界最大級のエッシャーコレクションを誇る
イスラエル博物館の所蔵品より、代表的な“トロンプ・ルイユ(だまし絵)”の作品に加え、
初期の作品や木版、直筆のドローイングなど選りすぐりの約150点をご紹介します。
日本初公開のコレクションの中でも、自身による初版プリントが公開される
「メタモルフォーゼⅡ」は特に注目の作品です。
村内にはテレビや映画でおなじみの時代劇の撮影が実際に行われている江戸の町などのオープンセットが広がり、迫力満点の立ち回りを間近に見ることもできます。

【ストーリー】
惑星探査を終えて地球へ帰還中、宇宙船に不具合を感じたため、近くに惑星へと不時着をするが、
そこは文明もなく生き物も全く存在しない死の惑星だった。
宇宙船の修理を終え新たな資源となりえる、物質の調査へと船の外へ出るが、ハッチを開けた途端、
特殊な電磁波が流れ込み操縦席へと繋がるメインドアがロックされた。
このままでは、現在の酸素保有量から考えても船外での活動時間は45分
限られた時間内に、原因を突き止め謎の惑星を探査し、メインドアのロックを解除しろ。

Many young people were influenced by these top seller albums and still today, those songs belong to their most wanted list. After 1994, the three musicians moved on to work in different bands and continued to follow their paths to successful musicianships: Peavy (Rage), Manni (ex-Grave Digger), Christos (Tri State Corner).
After a long period during which they had not much contact, the three guys met again in 2014 and decided to play a secret show in their German hometown Herne under the Name “Tres Hombres”. The show was never promoted, apart from mouth to mouth and Facebook PR. As a result, this show became a real insider tip and more than 1200 followers found their way to that happening, at this late summer evening in 2014.
The band performed all their hits in the original line up and enjoyed every second of that gig, getting hungry for more – the idea of “REFUGE” was born.
For a start, REFUGE played a couple of festival shows all throughout Europe in summer 2015 that were hugely successful. The audiences’ reactions to the RAGE-songs of 1988 – 1993 performed by the original line-up at that time were truly overwhelming and have exceeded all expectations. So more shows were played in 2016, including three concerts in Japan (Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka), exactly 20 years after they played their last show in this line-up – also in Japan!
Around the same time, some record labels approached the band and offered deals for an album with new original songs. Since the chemistry between Peavy, Christos and Manni was as great as never before, they decided to work on new song material and inked a deal with Frontiers Records.
What started out as a “fun thing” in 2014 has turned into a real band again! Currently, REFUGE are working on their brand new album which will see the light of day in 2018. It will be the first original album since 25 years of the most successful RAGE line-up to date and it sure will be the debut of a brand new band of old acquaintances.

"It" is a 1927 silent romantic comedy film that tells the story of a shop girl who sets her sights on the handsome, wealthy boss of the department store where she works. It is based on a novella by Elinor Glyn that was originally serialized in Cosmopolitan magazine.
This film turned actress Clara Bow into a major star, and led people to label her the It girl.
The film had its world premiere in Los Angeles on January 14, 1927, followed by a New York showing on February 5, 1927. "It" was released to the general public on February 19, 1927.
The picture was considered lost for many years, but a Nitrate-copy was found in Prague in the 1960s.[1] In 2001, "It" was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
2010年7月29日、NEO女子プロレスを退団した井上京子がプロレス団体の旗揚げを目指してワールド女子プロレス・ディアナ株式会社として会社を設立。
旗揚げには井上の全日本女子プロレスでの1年後輩に当たる伊藤薫を始め伊藤が主宰し同じく同年限りで解散した伊藤薫プロレス教室の井上と同郷の佐藤綾子、NEO女子プロレスに最後まで所属した勇気彩と野崎渚、JWP女子プロレスを退団した青野敬子が合流。練習生も2人受け入れて海外でのスカウトも行いアメリカ人選手とも契約している。
井上の意向により自主興行ではフリーの選手をリングに上げない方針を示している（他団体の所属選手の参戦は認めている）。地方興行などにおける外部からの提供試合に限りフリー選手の参戦もある。
旗揚げ戦は当初2011年3月21日を予定していたが3月11日の東北地方太平洋沖地震（東日本大震災）の発生で試合会場となるディファ有明がダメージを受けた他に東京電力の福島第一原子力発電所での福島第一原子力発電所事故の影響で中止することを発表。4月17日、延期していた旗揚げ戦をディファ有明で開催。また旗揚げシリーズは「復興チャリティー」として開かれる。
旗揚げ戦では所属選手の他に吉田万里子、里村明衣子、高橋奈苗（当初はアジャ・コングを予定していたが延期に伴うスケジュールの都合により変更）と言った井上と縁の深い他団体選手も参戦して752人とまずまずの動員を見せた。旗揚げ当初は道場兼常設会場「駒沢・ワールドアリーナ」を新設して「アリーナマッチ」と銘打って同会場で定期興行を開催して大阪や井上の地元山形県など地方巡業を行いビッグマッチを川崎市体育館で行っていた。大会の模様はDMM.comで配信されていた（旗揚げ戦は生中継を予定していたが中止）。

Formed in 2012, CASTAWAY self-released the original sound source "The Way EP" in April 2014 and "On The Railroad" EP in December of the same year. These two works were a live venue and some specialty stores Sales only over 2000 pieces sold only. The sense of spirit and warmth, anchemic melody, emotional guitar, powerful vocal stabbed in the chest and chorus filled with heat are not only domestic and international melodic / pop punk, but while feeling the influence from emo and hardcore, Japan Attract attention with an aggressive sound that also has the deep depth of the band.
When the band released the first nationwide distribution work "March on March 2016", they went through a nationwide tour over half a year and the tour finals at the Hatsudai WALL in October of the same year ended with a sold out and about 200 Mobilize people. In March 2017, they released a single song "Over And Over Again" with three songs, and again tours nationwide. Until now, the band has become a top class amongst the overseas support such as CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK !, AS IT IS, BASEMENT, COUNTERPARTS, REAL FRIENDS, THE MENZINGERS, THE STORY SO FAR, STATE CHAMPS, NECK DEEP, SEAWAY, TURNOVER.
In addition to being involved in overseas band Japan tour, Castaway has also co-sponsored with domestic forces such as COUNTRY YARD, CRYSTAL LAKE, SHADOWS, MEANING, SURVIVE SAID THE PROPHET, LOYAL TO THE GRAVE. In January 2018 They performed a Japan tour with America's pop punk band, KNUCKLE PUCK, and in the same spring they planned to release a new work from ICE GRILL $.
Knuckle Puck is an American pop punk band, formed in 2010 in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The group started out covering songs, before the band members started writing songs in April 2011. Following this, the group released a number of EPs, one of which, While I Stay Secluded (2014), peaked at number 5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart. The band released a split EP with the UK band Neck Deep. The group signed to Rise in December 2014 and released its debut album, Copacetic, through the label in July 2015.
Knuckle Puck started out covering songs in fall 2010 in the outskirts of Chicago. The band got its name from a Stick to Your Guns t-shirt that said "Knuckle Puck Crew". The band consisted of lead vocalist Joe Taylor, lead guitarist Kevin Maida, and drummer John Siorek. The group started writing original songs in April 2011 with the addition of rhythm guitarist Nick Casasanto. The group had friends fill in on bass. In July, the band played its first ever show. In October, the band released a self-titled EP, this was followed up by the Acoustics EP in March 2012. In October, the band released the Don't Come Home EP. The band co-headlined a tour with Seaway from late May to early June 2013. In August, the band self-released The Weight That You Buried EP. In February 2014 Bad Timing and Hopeless released a split EP that featured two songs each from Knuckle Puck and Neck Deep. Both bands toured together (alongside Light Years) from late February to early April. On March 16, the band performed at South by So What?! festival. In spring, the band gained bassist Ryan Rumchaks. Between May and June, the band supported Man Overboard on the group's The Heart Attack Tour alongside Transit, and Forever Came Calling.
A music video was released for the song "No Good" in June. It was directed by Eric Teti. In late July, it was announced the band were recording, and in early August the band finished recording its next release. Knuckle Puck supported Senses Fail on the band's Let It Enfold You 10th anniversary tour from late August till early October 2014. In early September, the band released a 7" flexi containing the songs "Oak Street" and "Home Alone", the former of which was intended for release on the group's next EP. The flexi was released by Bad Timing. On October 16, 2014, "Bedford Falls" was available for streaming. On October 23, the While I Stay Secluded EP was made available for streaming and on October 28, it was released by Bad Timing. The EP had peaked at number 5 on the Heatseekers Albums in the U.S. Guitarist Kevin Maida revealed that the band "firmly and confidently" considered the EP the group's best work so far. On October 31, the band released a music video for "Oak Street". In November and December, the band supported Modern Baseball on the group's winter tour.
State Champs (stylized sometimes as STATE CHAMPS) is an American pop punk band from Albany, New York, formed in 2010. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released three EPs and three full-length albums. They released an acoustic EP titled The Acoustic Things in October 2014 and their second full-length album Around the World and Back one year later, in October 2015. In May 2017, they released a deluxe version of their album Around the World and Back, along with a DVD of footage from their last few tours. Their 2013 full-length, The Finer Things, debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Their third album, Living Proof, was released on June 15, 2018.
State Champs formed in the spring of 2010 in Albany, New York by founding members lead guitarist Tyler Szalkowski and lead singer Derek DiScanio. Shortly after forming, they self-released EP 2010 in August, which was followed by their second self-released EP, Apparently, I’m Nothing, in January 2011. This EP contained several new songs and 2010 EP in its entirety. In July, the band toured with The Tired and True and Call It Fiction. In April 2012, interest in a demo of "Critical" helped the band gain a recording contract, a management company and a booking agency. On April 19, it was announced that the band signed to Pure Noise. In mid-June, the group recorded their next EP with Jay Maas at Getaway Recording Studio.
"Critical" was made available for streaming on July 12. In July and August, the band toured with With the Punches and Forever Came Calling on The PropertyOfZack Tour. "Remedy" was made available for streaming on August 9. The band released the Overslept EP in September through Pure Noise. In September and October, the band supported Handguns, then supported Citizen the following month. The band toured alongside Hit the Lights, A Loss for Words and With the Punches in December. The group then supported Vanna on their holiday tour, dubbed Home for the Holidays.
Originally, the band was supposed to support Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! on their Pardon My French Tour in March and April 2013; instead Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! went on tour with A Day to Remember, resulting in State Champs supporting Handguns on their Pardon My Angst tour in March. The band finished recording their debut full-length with producer Sam Pura at The Panda Studios and co-producer and former New Found Glory guitarist Steve Klein in Fremont, CA in May 2013. The group supported New Found Glory on their west coast tour in June, before supporting Cartel.

Melt-Banana （メルトバナナ）は日本のロックバンド。母国の日本以上に、アメリカやヨーロッパのパンク・ロック・ファンから支持を得ている。
1994年に初の音源をリリース。当時のメンバーはYasuko O.（Yako／ボーカル）、Agata（ギター）、Rika（ベース）、須藤俊明（ドラムス）の4人。1995年のアルバム『Scratch or Stitch』は、スティーヴ・アルビニとジム・オルークとの共同作業により制作された。
1997年に須藤が脱退。1998年にWatchmanがドラマーとして加入。1999年にはジョン・ゾーンのレーベル「Tzadik」からアルバム『MxBx 1998/13,000 Miles at Light Velocity』を発表した。
1999年と2001年、イギリスBBCのMaida Vale Studio にてジョン・ピール・セッションが収録された。その様子を見ていた、BBCの伝説的DJジョン・ピールは、「今までに見たり聴いたりした最も素晴らしいパフォーマンスの一つ。ただただ魅了され、実に驚くものだった」と評し、「世界で最も素晴らしいバンドの一つ」として、毎年50のベスト曲を選ぶFestive Fifty に、1998年、1999年、2003年に選出するなど、2004年に他界する直前までBBCの自身の番組で紹介し続けた。
2001年、Watchmanが脱退し、以後、ゲスト・ドラマーを迎えての活動となった。海外ツアーにはディスコーダンス・アクシス のオリジナル・メンバーであったデイヴ・ウィッテ がツアー・メンバーとして参加し、2003年に『Cell-Scape』をリリースした。
2005年、シングル集「13 Hedgehogs (MxBx Singles 1994–1999)」をリリース。これは1994年から1999年の間に発売された13枚のスプリット盤を含む、5インチ、7インチ、10インチのシングル・レコードをまとめたものである。

Throughout the years, their core line-up has remained, with the exceptions of the bassist, a slot in which several musicians have played, and the death of drummer Joey LaCaze in 2013.
Eyehategod have noted Melvins, Carnivore, The Obsessed, Discharge, Black Flag, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Sabbath, Celtic Frost, Confessor and Saint Vitus as key influences to their sound. Heavy, detuned, and bluesy guitar riffs dominate the band's discography. They are combined with walls of feedback and tortured vocals to create a harsh misanthropic vibe. The band was friends with Anal Cunt and performed with them for the first show after their frontman Seth Putnam came out of his coma.
Jimmy Bower and Joey LaCaze founded the band on April 20, 1988 (in accordance with 4/20 in cannabis culture), and they recruited Brian Patton, Steve Dale and vocalist Chris Hilliard. Hilliard would later leave the group early on, and would be replaced by Mike Williams. The band then recorded two demos Garden Dwarf Woman Driver (1989) and Lack of Almost Everything (1990); the latter was sent out to various labels. They eventually got signed to the small French label Intellectual Convulsion, and released their first album In the Name of Suffering in 1990. The album had a far more primitive and raw sound than later releases (as it was recorded by the inexperienced band members for only $1000), and had a more hardcore feel to it. The label dissolved with only a couple of thousand copies having been printed, so the band had to find a new label. They soon signed with Century Media however, who re-released In the Name of Suffering on December 1, 1992, as it is known today. Also in 2006, In the Name of Suffering was re-issued with four bonus tracks. These four tracks were the same as those on the original demo Lack Of Almost Everything.
『PALM』（パーム）は獸木野生による日本の漫画作品。主に『ウィングス』（新書館）にて連載。
ペンネームに関しては、連載開始時には「伸たまき」名義を使用していたが、2000年以降は「獸木野生」名義を使用している。
作者の代表作でありライフワークともいえる作品。全10話（予告編も含めると11のエピソード）からなる大長編漫画として製作されており、シリーズ全体の構想は出来あがっているとの事。
1983年に開始されて以来、ストーリーの進行にしたがって各エピソードが次第に長期化している。特に第7話「愛でなく」については、完結に10年（単行本12冊）を費やしており、物語全体の完結時期は不明。ただし作者は「2010年代でシリーズが完結する予定」と自身のHPで発表している。
2012年の状況では、雑誌『ウィングス』2012年2月号（2011年12月28日発売）に第9話の最終回が掲載され、2012年3月発売の第35巻『蜘蛛の紋様 6』で第9話が完結。2013年4月発売の6月号において、最終章「TASK」が掲載開始された。
初版の単行本においては、同一作品のシリーズでありながら、二種類の作者名義が混在する。
新書版では、第1巻『お豆の半分』から第25巻『愛でなく 11』までは「伸たまき」名義、第26巻『愛でなく 12』より「獸木野生」名義となっている。 文庫版では、第1巻『お豆の半分』から第9巻『オールスター・プロジェクト 3』までは「伸たまき」名義、第10巻『愛でなく 1』より「獸木野生」名義となっている。
ナパーム・デス（Napalm Death）は、イギリス出身のグラインドコア・バンド。
グラインドコアの始祖的存在として知られている。活動初期はメンバーの出入りが激しく、オリジナルメンバーは不在となりながらも脈々と活動を続け、「カテドラル」「カーカス」といったバンドを結成するプレイヤーを輩出した。
1981年、イギリスのバーミンガムで結成された。ニック・バレンがボーカルとして、ディスチャージ（DISCHARGE）、カオスUK（CHAOS U.K.）等の、ハードコアで政治的主張を行うパンク・ロックに影響されて結成。
結成年に「Punk Is a Rotting Corpse」（デモテープ）を発表。音楽性としてはハードコアとアナーコ・パンク の中間で、上述のバンドと比べ際立ったところのない、平凡な音であった。しかしクラス（CRASS）とライブで数回共に活動したことがきっかけで、後に発表されたクラス自身のレーベルオムニバスに参加することになった（「Bullshit Detector Volume 3 」1984年）。現在も使用されている"NAPALM DEATH"の標章は、この時点ですでにできあがっていた。
音楽性の転機は、イギリス・イプスウィッチのクラスト・コア（CRUST CORE)の始祖であるエクストリーム・ノイズ・テラー（EXTREME NOISE TERROR。当時はまだ「TERROR」は付いていない）でドラムであったミック・ハリスが加入したことが大きい。この時点で、結成時からのメンバーはすでにニックのみになっており、彼がボーカルとベースを兼任した。
1985年に、「Hatred Surge」（デモテープ）を発表。これまでの5本のデモと異なり、激しい音楽性に変化する。翌年には7作目となる後のセカンドアルバムと同じ表題である「From Enslavement to Obliteration」（デモテープ）を発表し、1stアルバムと同じ題で、フルアルバム並みの曲数の「Scum」（デモテープ）の2本を発表した。
EXTREME THE DOJO（エクストリーム・ザ・ドージョー）はSmash West主催による日本のライブイベント。
単独公演では興行的に難しいグラインドコア、デスメタル、ブラックメタル、ストーナーロック系のバンドを幅広くラインナップして行われる。基本的に中・小規模のライブハウスが会場となり、複数のバンドが出演する。なお、"DOJO"とは道場の意。 2001年から2013年まで毎年開催されていたが、一時活動休止。2019年3月に復活開催が決定。

King Parrot formed in Melbourne in 2010 with the original line-up of Matt Young (vocals), Ed Lacey and Ari White (guitar), Wayne "Slattz" Slattery (bass) and drummer Matt Rizzo. White, Rizzo and Lacey had come directly from their previous band Watchdog Discipline, Slattery was a member of Warrnambool rock band Cockfight Shootout. Lacey had also been a member of The Berzerker for several years and Rizzo was formerly with Blood Duster.
After the release of The Stench of Hardcore Pub Trash EP in 2011, Lacey left King Parrot and was replaced by Andrew Livingstone-Squires, formerly of Dreadnaught and Cemetery Urn. The group recorded and independently released their debut full-length album Bite Your Head Off in 2012, which was picked up by UK based metal label Candlelight Records in 2013 for worldwide release. Shortly after the album's release Rizzo was replaced by Matt "Skitz" Sanders, formerly of Damaged but the band's heavy touring schedule meant he was replaced on overseas dates by Rob Brens of Alarum. King Parrot had by now established themselves as intense live act, and their unsettling sense of humour, most notably in their music video "Shit on the Liver", which was a finalist in the 2013 Australian Music Video Awards.
After extensive touring within Australia, supporting Obituary, Carcass and Thy Art Is Murder, King Parrot were invited to play a number of prominent music festivals including an appearance at the 2013 Hammersonic Jakarta International Metal Festival in Indonesia, Australia's Soundwave Festival and the 2014 SXSW in Austin, Texas, which was part of a 45-date North American tour. They later signed a management deal with Extreme Management Group in New York. Pantera and Down vocalist Phil Anselmo personally interviewed them on his Housecore Records YouTube channel.

The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester (NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra) is a German radio orchestra based in Hamburg. Affiliated with the Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR; North German Broadcasting), the orchestra is based at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany. Earlier the ensemble was called the NDR Symphony Orchestra (German: Sinfonieorchester des Norddeutschen Rundfunks), and was also known in English as the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra.
British occupation authorities founded the orchestra after World War II as part of Radio Hamburg (NWDR), which was the only radio station in what would become West Germany not destroyed during the war. The first musicians came mostly from the ranks of the old Nazi-controlled Großes Rundfunkorchester des Reichssenders Hamburg. Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt, who was living near Hamburg, was given the task of assembling the members, something he accomplished over a period of six months. Schmidt-Isserstedt conducted the orchestra's first concert in November 1945, with Yehudi Menuhin as soloist. Schmidt-Isserstedt served as the first chief conductor of the orchestra, through 1971.
The orchestra first visited the UK in 1951, as part of the concerts celebrating the re-opening in Manchester of the Free Trade Hall. In addition to its performances of the core classical and romantic repertoire by composers such as Beethoven and Bruckner, the orchestra also has a focus on contemporary works by Bernd Alois Zimmermann, Wolfgang Rihm and Hans Werner Henze. It rose to particular significance during the chief conductorship of Günter Wand, from 1982 to 1990. Wand conducted several commercial recordings with the orchestra for the RCA Victor Red Seal and EMI labels. The orchestra has also recorded for the Deutsche Grammophon and CPO labels.
Thomas Hengelbrock became chief conductor of the orchestra with the 2011-2012 season, with an initial contract of 3 years. In January 2017, the orchestra took up its new residence at the newly opened Elbphilharmonie, and formally changed its name to the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester. In June 2017, the orchestra announced that Hengelbrock is to conclude his tenure with the ensemble at the close of the 2018-2019 season.
Past principal guest conductors have included Alan Gilbert, who held the post from 2004 to 2015. The orchestra's current principal guest conductor is Krzysztof Urbanski, since the 2015-2016 season. In June 2017, the orchestra announced the appointment of Gilbert as its next chief conductor, effective with the 2019-2020 season, with an initial contract of 5 seasons. He is scheduled to take the title of chief conductor-designate in the autumn of 2017.
In December 2017, Hengelbrock expressed his displeasure with the timing of the announcement of Alan Gilbert as his designated successor, within the same month as the original announcement of the previously scheduled conclusion of his tenure. Hengelbrock thus announced his intention to stand down as chief conductor of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra at the end of the 2017-2018 season, one season earlier than originally planned.

1967年、パリ音楽院管弦楽団を発展的に解消し、フランス文化省の大臣アンドレ・マルローと音楽局長のマルセル・ランドスキの要請により、シャルル・ミュンシュを首席指揮者に迎えて新たに設立された。この際に団員の7割近くが入れ替わり、全仏から優秀な奏者が選抜されて新加入している（この経緯からも、パリ音楽院管弦楽団が名称変更しての同一団体であるかのような記載は明らかに誤りである）。ところがミュンシュは1968年に急逝してしまう。その後を受け、1969年から1971年まで、ヘルベルト・フォン・カラヤンが音楽顧問を務めた。カラヤン後はゲオルク・ショルティが首席指揮者を務めた後、ダニエル・バレンボイムが15シーズンに渡って首席指揮者を務めた。バレンボイムの後を受けたセミヨン・ビシュコフ離任後、1998年から2000年までクリストフ・フォン・ドホナーニが芸術顧問に就任した。その後クリストフ・エッシェンバッハが就任し、2010年にはパーヴォ・ヤルヴィが就任した。
ドイツ系フランス人（アルザス人）のミュンシュ以下、暫定的に統率したカラヤン、就任当時ドイツからイギリスに国籍を移したばかりだったショルティ、ドホナーニ、エッシェンバッハと歴代ドイツ系の指揮者が多い（オーストリアで学んだバレンボイムもドイツ志向の強い音楽家である。フランス国籍の指揮者は壮年以降に帰化したミュンシュ一人しかいない）にもかかわらずサウンドは一貫してフランス的な明晰さを維持しており、英米でドイツ人指揮者を多く迎えたオーケストラに見られがちな低弦を効かせたドイツ風サウンドとは一線を画している。ベルリンフィルに対抗できる世界的オーケストラが目指されたと言われ、発足当初から合奏力が高かった。
東京混声合唱団（とうきょうこんせいがっしょうだん、英字：The Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo、略称：東混（とうこん））は、日本のプロ合唱団である。1956年に、田中信昭および、彼を含む東京藝術大学声楽科の卒業生20数名によって結成された。前身は、田中らが所属していた「アンサンブル研究会」である。
現在は財団法人合唱音楽振興会が運営するプロの音楽家による合唱団であり、東京都では第一生命ホールを、大阪府ではいずみホールを拠点に、年数回の定期演奏会を含む年200回の演奏会のほか、小学校・中学校での音楽教育活動、各種CM・番組出演、数年に1度の海外公演、合唱曲の作曲委嘱、その初演など、様々な音楽活動を行い、文化庁から日本を代表する芸術団体に認定されている。
創立者の田中信昭の意向により、日本の合唱曲の創作および普及に重心が置かれている。東混が委嘱した作品は200曲近くにのぼる。放送局や自治体などからの委嘱作品も数多く初演している。
バンベルク交響楽団（ドイツ語: Bamberger Symphoniker – Bayerische Staatsphilharmonie ）は、ドイツ・バイエルン州バンベルクに本拠を置くオーケストラである。
人口7万人台の地方小都市を拠点としながらも、4管編成110人の堂々たる陣容を誇り、古くから名指揮者に恵まれたことと、積極的な録音や演奏旅行によって、国際的に名前が知られた楽団である。
前身は、1940年にチェコ（当時はナチス・ドイツ支配下のベーメン・メーレン保護領）のドイツ系住民によって創立されたプラハ・ドイツ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（Deutschen Philharmonischen Orchesters Prag ）である。同楽団は、ヴィルヘルム・フルトヴェングラーの推薦で、ヨーゼフ・カイルベルトを首席指揮者に迎えて活動していた。
ドイツの敗戦後の1945年、チェコからドイツへ逃れた（ドイツ人追放）同楽団の楽団員が集結して本楽団を創立した。1946年3月16日、バンベルク・トーンキュンストラー管弦楽団（Bamberger Tonkünstlerorchester）として第1回演奏会を開いたが、同年6月1日、バンベルク交響楽団に改称した。1947年、ハンス・クナッパーツブッシュが客演し、1948年にはオーストリア、1949年にはパリに演奏旅行をした。1949年、カイルベルトを首席指揮者に迎えた。1968年、カイルベルトが急逝した後、オイゲン・ヨッフムが芸術顧問を務めた。1973年、イシュトヴァン・ケルテスの首席指揮者就任が決定されたが、ケルテスは就任前に急逝し、しばらく首席指揮者不在だった。1979年にジェームズ・ロッホランが首席指揮者に就任したが、録音ではヨッフムが中心だった。その後ヴィトルド・ロヴィツキ、ホルスト・シュタインとつないで、2000年からジョナサン・ノットを首席指揮者に迎えている。シュタイン時代の1993年にバイエルン州立フィルハーモニー（Bayerische Staatsphilharmonie ）の呼称が加えられている。
ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団（ドイツ語: Gewandhausorchester Leipzig ）は、ドイツ・ライプツィヒに本拠を置くオーケストラである。
1743年、世界初の市民階級による自主経営オーケストラとして発足した。それまでの宮廷専属（歌劇場含む）オーケストラと異なり、このオーケストラの誕生で、自らの城や宮殿などを「演奏会場」として音楽を聞いていた王侯貴族のような身分・階級でなくとも、入場料さえ払えば誰でもオーケストラ演奏を聞けるようになった。
1835年、メンデルスゾーンがゲヴァントハウス・カペルマイスター（楽長）になると、技術的にも、そして楽員の年金制度創設など待遇面でもより基盤が固まり大きく飛躍することになった。ベートーヴェン・シューベルト・メンデルスゾーン・シューマン・ブラームス・ブルックナーをはじめ、多くの作曲家の作品を初演してきたことでも知られる。
本拠地となる現在のホールは、1981年完成の3代目ゲヴァントハウスである。1781年の初代ゲヴァントハウス以降、代々のホールに、このオーケストラのモットーが掲げられている。
ライプツィヒ歌劇場のオーケストラも兼ねているが、ウィーンやドレスデンのように歌劇場管弦楽団が限られた期間にコンサートを行うのではなく、多人数（2018年公式HPに掲載されている団員数は200名以上）のローテーションに拠っているため、オペラ、コンサートともにフル稼働している。
スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団（スイス・ロマンドかんげんがくだん、仏: Orchestre de la Suisse Romande 、略称OSR）は、1918年に指揮者エルネスト・アンセルメによって創設された、ジュネーヴを本拠とするスイスのオーケストラ。「スイス・ロマンド」とは、「フランス語（ロマンス語）圏のスイス」の意味である。
スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団は、1918年にアンセルメによって創設され、活動を開始したが、1930年代に財政的な問題もあり、一時活動休止に追い込まれたこともあった。1938年にローザンヌにあったスイス・ロマンド放送のオーケストラを合併して、放送局から財政的なバックアップを受けるようになって、安定した活動が可能になった。ラジオ放送のための演奏が増えると同時に、デッカと契約し、数多くの録音が行われるようになったのもこの頃のことである。
演奏会は、多くのカテゴリーに分けて行われていて、シンフォニー・シリーズ、レパートリー・シリーズ、ローザンヌ・シリーズ（ローザンヌ公演）、グランド・クラシック・シリーズなど、ジュネーヴ、そしてローザンヌにおいて年間50回程度の公演を行っている。同時にスイス・ロマンド管弦楽団は、ジュネーヴ大劇場のオペラ、バレエの公演でのオーケストラ・ピットにも入っており、両方の活動を支える団員数は、117名（弦 : vn18-vn16-va13-vc10-cb9、木管 : fl7-ob7-cl8-fg7-hr7、金管 : trp3-trb5-tuba1、打楽器 : timp2-perc3、ハーブ : 1）という大所帯となっている（2009-2010年シーズン）。ただし、歌劇場オーケストラがコンサート活動用に名乗るウィーン・フィルやドレスデン・シュターツカペレとは異なり、あくまでコンサートの方が主体であり、したがってジュネーブ大劇場は常設オペラ劇場ではない。
イスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（英: Israel Philharmonic Orchestra 、略称：IPO、ヘブライ語:התזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית , ラテン文字転写：ha-Tizmoret ha-Filharmonit ha-Yisre'elit）は、イスラエルの主要なオーケストラで、世界有数のオーケストラの一つである。
ヴァイオリンの巨匠ブロニスワフ・フーベルマンが発足人となり、ヨーロッパ各地で政治的理由で解雇されたユダヤ人音楽家が結集して、イギリス委任統治領パレスチナ時代の1936年に創設されたパレスチナ管弦楽団（英: Palestine Orchestra ）が前身である。お披露目の演奏会は、同年12月26日にテル＝アヴィヴにおいて、アルトゥーロ・トスカニーニの指揮によって行われた。イスラエルが建国された1948年に現名称になった。
頻繁な演奏旅行や録音の機会に恵まれ、しばしば首席指揮者に世界的な指揮者を迎えてきた。現在ではズービン・メータが1968年から終身音楽監督を務めている。また、ユダヤ系指揮者や演奏家とのゆかりも深く、中でもレナード・バーンスタインとは1947年から密接な関係を結んでいた。
主なレパートリーは、ベートーヴェン、モーツァルト、メンデルスゾーン、ブラームス、チャイコフスキー、マーラーである。シェーンベルクのロマン派時代の作品もレパートリーに入っている。ユダヤ人演奏家に弦楽器奏者が多いことから、J.S.バッハ以降のヴァイオリン協奏曲もレパートリーに入っている。
一方、ワーグナーはその反ユダヤ主義的言質やナチス・ドイツの文化的象徴ゆえに、事実上タブー視されている。1981年にメータがイスラエル・フィル演奏会のアンコールで『トリスタンとイゾルデ』の前奏曲を演奏したが、一部の団員は演奏を拒否し、観客の間に殴り合いが発生する事態となった。メータは数日後にやはりアンコールでワーグナーを取り上げたが、観客の激しい抗議を受け、数小節で演奏を中止している。イスラエルにおけるワーグナーへの抵抗は根強く、2001年にエルサレムでダニエル・バレンボイムがベルリン国立歌劇場管弦楽団とワーグナーを演奏した際も、抗議して会場を出て行く聴衆が見受けられた（詳細はバレンボイムの項を参照）。
ズービン・メータ（Zubin Mehta, ヒンディー語: ज़ूबिन मेहता [ˈzuːbɪn ˈmeːɦt̪aː] 1936年4月29日 - ）インド出身の指揮者。
ボンベイのゾロアスター教徒の家庭に生まれる。ペルシア系の祖先を持つ。父メーリ・メータも指揮者であり、地元のボンベイ交響楽団の指揮者として活動した。
1954年にウィーン国立音楽大学に留学し、指揮法の名教師として名高いハンス・スワロフスキーに指揮を学ぶ。
1958年にリヴァプールで行われた指揮者の国際コンクールで優勝し、一躍注目される。
1959年にはウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、イスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団を指揮してデビューし、大成功を収める。
1961年からモントリオール交響楽団の音楽監督、1962年からロサンジェルス・フィルハーモニックの音楽監督に就任し、それぞれ1967年と1978年まで在任した。ロサンジェルス辞任後、ニューヨーク・フィルハーモニックの音楽監督に就任し、1991年まで在任した。
1985年にはフィレンツェ五月音楽祭管弦楽団の首席指揮者に就任し、1996年には同歌劇場と日本公演を行った。
2004年1月よりミュンヘン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団名誉指揮者。2006年6月までミュンヘンのバイエルン州立歌劇場音楽総監督。
2006年10月にバレンシアに開館された芸術科学都市のソフィア王妃芸術宮殿にて毎年開催される地中海音楽祭の総裁を務め、2008年～2009年にかけてラ・フラ・デルス・バウス演出、ワーグナーのニーベルングの指環を指揮する。
ダニエル・ハーディング（Daniel Harding, 1975年8月31日 - ）は、イギリス・オックスフォード出身の指揮者。
音楽高校在学中の1993年から1994年にかけてサイモン・ラトルのアシスタントを務め、1994年にバーミンガム市交響楽団を指揮してデビューする。このデビュー演奏会がロイヤル・フィルハーモニック協会の「ベスト・デビュー賞」を受賞、クラウディオ・アバドに認められ、1996年のベルリン芸術週間においてベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団を指揮する。同年には、最年少指揮者としてBBCプロムスにもデビューした。
初来日は、1999年のエクサン・プロヴァンス音楽祭の引っ越し公演であった。
2003年にザルツブルク音楽祭にデビューし、2004年にはマーラーの交響曲第10番を指揮してウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団と初共演した。
ベートーヴェンの序曲集、ブラームスの交響曲第3番・第4番、モーツァルトのオペラ『ドン・ジョヴァンニ』など、録音も多い。
また、2008年からは、ドイツ・グラモフォンと専属契約を結び、録音第1弾としてウィーン・フィルを指揮してマーラーの交響曲第10番のCDを出した。
2002年、シュヴァリエ勲章を受賞した。
2012年2月22日、軽井沢大賀ホール初代芸術監督の就任が決まる。着任は、2012年4月1日から。
2016-17シーズンから、パーヴォ・ヤルヴィの後任としてパリ管弦楽団音楽監督に就任。
ラン・ラン（Lang Lang〔中国語 ：郎朗 〕, 1982年6月14日 - ）は、中国遼寧省瀋陽出身のピアニスト。満洲民族。
得意とするレパートリーは、チャイコフスキーやショパンのほかに、ラフマニノフがあり、生演奏ではアンコールに中国民謡を好んで弾いている。
欧米のオーケストラとの共演が多く、これまでに、ボストン交響楽団、ニューヨーク・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、クリーヴランド管弦楽団、デトロイト交響楽団、ロサンジェルス・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、サンフランシスコ交響楽団、ロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、パリ管弦楽団、香港フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、シドニー交響楽団、イスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、サンクトペテルブルク・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団など、世界の主要なオーケストラと共演を続けている。

映画『のだめカンタービレ最終楽章』に主演した、野田恵役の上野樹里のピアノ演奏は、すべて彼によって吹き替えられている。
世界的かつ、母国を代表するピアニストで、自叙伝は中国全土でベストセラーを記録している。また、ユニセフ親善大使にも任命されている。
近年は、ダニエル・バレンボイムに本格的に師事していて、アルトゥール・ルービンシュタインがバレンボイムに伝授したルバート奏法などを教わっている。
ロイヤル・コンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団（ロイヤル・コンセルトヘボウかんげんがくだん、オランダ語: Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest 発音 [ˌkoːnɪŋklək kɔnˈsɛrtxəbʌu̯ɔrˌkɛst] コーニンクレイク・コンセルトヘバウ・オルケスト）は、オランダ・アムステルダムに本拠を置くオーケストラである。オランダ語における略称は KCO であるが、英語表記のRoyal Concertgebouw Orchestra の頭文字を取って RCO と表記される事もある。旧称アムステルダム・コンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団。
コンセルトヘボウとはオランダ語で「コンサートホール」を意味する言葉で、アムステルダムにコンセルトヘボウがオープンした1888年にコンセルトヘボウの専属オーケストラとしてアムステルダム・コンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団は産声を上げた（ただし、このオーケストラとホールとは別法人として運営されている）。
初代常任指揮者にはウィレム・ケスが就任、草創期のコンセルトヘボウの指導にあたった。このオーケストラが一躍世界のスターダムに躍り出たのは24歳の若さでコンセルトヘボウの第2代常任指揮者に就任、その後半世紀に渡ってコンセルトヘボウに君臨したウィレム・メンゲルベルクの功績である。
メンゲルベルクは厳格なリハーサルをオーケストラに強い、彼の完全なる手兵となるアンサンブルを築いた。リヒャルト・シュトラウスは自作の交響詩『英雄の生涯』をこのコンビに献呈した。また、マーラーもしばしばコンセルトヘボウの指揮台に立ち、マーラー没後もその弟子のオットー・クレンペラーらが1920年に世界で初めての｢マーラー音楽祭｣を催し、コンセルトヘボウのマーラー演奏の偉大な伝統は確立されていった。
クリスティアン・アルミンク（Christian Arming, 1971年3月18日 - ）は、オーストリアの指揮者。
ウィーンに生まれ、ウィーン国立音楽大学にてカール・エスターライヒャーとレオポルト・ハーガーに指揮を学ぶ。94年に本格的に指揮活動を開始、ベルリン・ドイツ交響楽団、フランクフルト放送交響楽団、ウィーン交響楽団、ウィーン放送交響楽団、ザルツブルク・モーツァルテウム管弦楽団、スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団、ストラスブール・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ベルギー国立管弦楽団、シンシナティ交響楽団などに次々と客演する。1997年、1999年にはザルツブルク音楽祭にも出演する。
1996年、24歳のとき、チェコのヤナーチェク・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団を初めて指揮し、すぐに首席指揮者として迎えられる（2001/02年シーズンまで）。その後、スイスのルツェルン歌劇場音楽監督およびルツェルン交響楽団首席指揮者を経て、2003年9月より新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団音楽監督に就任する(2013年8月まで)。また、2011年からベルギー国立リエージュ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団音楽監督。新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団における意欲的なプログラミングは、定期会員の強い支持を集め、2006年の「火刑台上のジャンヌ・ダルク」では第3回三菱信託音楽賞奨励賞を受賞した。
オペラ指揮者としても欧米各地で活躍している。1999年にシンシナティで『ねじの回転』、トリエステのリリコ劇場で『ばらの騎士』を指揮した。その後も、ルツェルンの『ラ・ボエーム』、『カルメン』、『魔笛』、ヴェローナでの『サロメ』、『エレクトラ』、ストラスブール歌劇場での『イーゴリ公』、フランクフルト歌劇場の『さまよえるオランダ人』などで好評を得る。
ルドルフ・ブッフビンダー（Rudolf Buchbinder [ˈruːdɔlf ˈbuːxbɪndər] , 1946年12月1日）は、オーストリアのピアニスト。
チェコボヘミア地方リトムニェジツェにドイツ系の家庭に生まれる。
5歳でウィーン国立音楽大学に入学して8歳でマスタークラスを履修し、同大学の最年少記録を打ち立てる。9歳で最初の公開演奏会を開いた。1966年にヴァン・クライバーン国際ピアノコンクールにおいて特別賞を、1967年にはベートーヴェン・ピアノコンクールにおいて1等を獲得した。
当初はとりわけ室内楽演奏に携わった。1961年には、ウィーン三重奏団の一員としてミュンヘン国際音楽コンクールで第1位となっており、今日までに、ザールブリュッケン・カイザースラウテルン・ドイツ放送フィルハーモニー管弦楽団などの優れたオーケストラや指揮者と共演を重ねている。録音数は200曲以上にのぼり、1976年にはフランツ・ヨーゼフ・ハイドンのピアノ曲全曲録音によってグランプリ・デュ・ディスクを受賞した。
レパートリーは幅広く、古典派やロマン派のほかに、20世紀音楽にまでわたっているが、とりわけベートーヴェンの専門家として名高い。また、「ディアベリのワルツ」やヨハン・シュトラウスのワルツの編曲集など、企画力や発想力の高さを披露するとともに、ヴィルトゥオーゾとしての華麗な実力を発揮したものもある。

ヤニック・ネゼ＝セガン（Yannick Nézet-Séguin、1975年 - ）は、カナダの指揮者。
教育学の教授を両親としてモントリオールに生まれる。5歳でピアノを始め、10歳で指揮者を目指すようになり、ケベック音楽院モントリオール校でピアノと室内楽を学ぶ一方、プリンストンのウェストミンスター・クワイヤー・カレッジで合唱指揮を学ぶ。
14歳でモントリオール・ポリフォニー合唱団のリハーサル指揮者を務め、19歳で同団体の監督に就任した他、モントリオール・オペラの合唱指揮者も務めた。1995年にはシャペル・ド・モントリオールを創設し、2000年にはモントリオール・オペラの音楽アドバイザーとグラン・モントリオール・メトロポリタン管弦楽団の首席指揮者並びに芸術監督に就任。2003年から2006年までヴィクトリア交響楽団の首席客演指揮者を務める。2005年頃からヨーロッパでの指揮活動も盛んになり、シュターツカペレ・ドレスデン、フランス国立管弦楽団などを指揮している。
2006年12月には2008年からロッテルダム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の音楽監督に、2007年11月には同じく2008年からロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の首席客演指揮者に就任することが発表された。2008年のシーズンからはアメリカ合衆国での指揮活動も本格化させ、シャルル・デュトワに招かれてフィラデルフィア管弦楽団にデビューした他、ボストン交響楽団、ロサンゼルス・フィルハーモニックなどに客演する。また、同年にはザルツブルク音楽祭でグノーの『ロメオとジュリエット』を指揮した。更に2009年から2010年にかけて、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、メトロポリタン歌劇場にデビューし、2011年1月にはライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団の定期演奏会に初登場した。
小林 愛実（こばやし あいみ、1995年9月23日 - ）は、山口県宇部市出身の、日本のピアニスト。
3歳からピアノを始める。7歳でオーケストラと共演。8歳より二宮裕子に師事。2004年、ピティナピアノコンペティションJr.G級（16歳以下）で金賞を受賞。9歳で国際デビュー。2005年、全日本学生音楽コンクール小学生部門で全国優勝。山口県よりメダル栄光の文化賞を3度受賞。2009年のアジア太平洋国際ショパンピアノコンクール（韓国）でJr部門優勝。2011年にはショパン国際コンクールin Asia、コンチェルトで金賞を受賞している。第5回福田靖子賞。
海外では、カーネギー・ホールへ出演。パリ、モスクワ（モスクワ・ヴィルトゥオージ）、ポーランド（18世紀オーケストラ）、ブラジル等で演奏。
国内では、九州交響楽団、読売日本交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団と共演。

ヤクブ・フルシャ（Jakub Hrůša、1981年7月23日 - ）は、チェコのブルノ出身の指揮者。
建築家のペトル・フルシャ（Petr Hrůša）を父親に持つ。
プラハ・フィルハーモニア音楽監督兼首席指揮者、東京都交響楽団プリンシパル・ゲスト・コンダクター。バンベルク交響楽団首席指揮者。
2011年に『グラモフォン』誌で、「大指揮者になりそうな10人の若手指揮者」のうちの1人に選ばれた。
ブルノのギムナジウムに通っていたころは、ピアノとトロンボーンを習っていたが、次第に指揮に興味を持つようになった。その後プラハ芸術アカデミーに進学し、イルジー・ビエロフラーヴェク、ラドミル・エリシュカらに指揮を学んだ。
2000年にプラハの春国際音楽コンクール指揮者部門に出場、このときは予選落ちした。フルシャはこのことについて
と語っている。
2004年にアカデミーを卒業した。ルドルフィヌムでの卒業コンサートでは、プラハ放送交響楽団を指揮してヨゼフ・スークの『アスラエル交響曲』を演奏した。
卒業後はチェコ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団などのチェコ内のオーケストラや、フィルハーモニア管弦楽団、ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団、シュトゥットガルト放送交響楽団、ベルリン・ドイツ交響楽団、BBC交響楽団などの世界各地のオーケストラに客演を行いつつ、ヨーロッパのオケでポストを得て経験を積む。
2010年にはプラハの春国際音楽祭オープニングコンサートの指揮者を最年少で務めた。また、同年より東京都交響楽団プリンシパル・ゲスト・コンダクターに就任した。就任会見では都響について
と語った。
東日本大震災よりちょうど1年後の2012年3月11日には、本人の希望で、ともに来日していたプラハ・フィルハーモニアのメンバーと、東京都交響楽団のメンバー5人が加わって、ドヴォルザークの交響曲第9番より第2楽章：ラルゴを演奏し、追悼演奏を行った。
