年間10回の定期演奏会のほか、レコーディングも活発に行う。西成区岸里に専用練習場「大阪フィルハーモニー会館」を持ち、長年にわたり「大フィル（だいフィル）」の愛称で親しまれている。公式サイトに掲載されている「プロフィール」によれば、「日本で一番多くレコード、CDを発表しているオーケストラ」。
創立者（現・創立名誉指揮者）朝比奈隆の時代に、ブルックナーやベートーヴェンなどの交響曲の演奏で全国的に知られるようになった。1975年10月12日リンツ郊外の聖フローリアン教会でのブルックナーの交響曲第7番や、1994年7月24日サントリーホールでの交響曲第8番などの演奏の多くは、今日でもCDで聴くことができる。
2003年に大植英次が音楽監督に就任し、同年5月9日及び10日のザ・シンフォニーホールでの音楽監督就任披露演奏会でマーラー交響曲第2番「復活」、2005年3月20日サントリーホールでの就任後初の東京定期演奏会でマーラー第6番「悲劇的」を取り上げ、いずれも大成功を収めた。大植の指揮で、定期演奏会では演奏会形式のオペラ（『サムソンとデリラ』（2004年）、『トスカ』（2005年））も披露したほか、近代曲などもとりあげている。
朝比奈隆の時代から、ヨーロッパ（とりわけドイツ、オーストリア）のオーケストラの音に連なるいわゆる「大フィルサウンド」で知られる。なお、朝比奈隆時代の最後はコンサートマスターに岡田英治と梅沢和人、第2ヴァイオリンの首席に藤井允人を擁していた。2004年9月から、梅沢に加え、首席コンサートマスターロバート・ダヴィドヴィチ（Robert Davidovich）、首席客演コンサートマスター長原幸太が就任。2006年4月から、首席コンサートマスター長原、コンサートマスター梅沢の体制になり、加えて2009年11月から崔文洙が入団、客演コンサートマスターに就任。梅沢は2010年2月をもって退団。
It is the actual size male doll that co-star with John at "rehab training". It was created to learn how to care for patients at medical education sites. John, who faces "him", pilots himself as if he can not move himself, with a hands-on approach to rehabilitate, and attempts to do a variety of tasks. While the gestures are being piled up, the relationship between the doll and puppeteer eventually shows a strange appearance beyond intimacy. Which is "who do it" and which is "who will be". An inorganic object begins to take on its own life, and the boundary between the subject and the object is no longer clear. Well, how should we name "Kankei" of "her" and "him"?
KYOTO EXPERIMENT（別名：京都国際舞台芸術祭、Kyoto International Performing Arts Festival、きょうとこくさいぶたいげいじゅつさい）は京都府京都市で開かれる舞台芸術のフェスティバル。2010年より例年10月頃に開催されている。

After announcing EP [Outer Star Truth] in 2008, the band suddenly declared the dissolution. In 2017, they made a new album "Imperfect Lover", and its rare pop sense has evolved further and has become a big topic both in Japan and abroad as early as Taiwanese pop.
Siamcats is a Japanese rock band. Voluntary label belongs to TETRA RECORDS. English notation is "SIAMESE CATS".
This guitar pop band has been active to pursuit of alternate rock in Japan. Their sound is real and groovy. It features a blue melody and a lyrics world that cut out everyday life.
Regardless of Western or Japanese music, it has been influenced by various genres, but it shows a posture sticking to the lock with the Japanese language to the last. In terms of style it has received much influence from the band of US Indie.
In addition, we have held a voluntary event "EASY" that curated live and ZINE writers since 2014.
In 2018, they appeared in FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '18.
カンタベリー系ロックの主要バンドであり、元ソフト・マシーンのデヴィッド・アレンにより結成された。
メンバーの出入りが激しく、リーダーのデヴィッド・アレン自身が1975年に脱退した。残されたメンバーはピエール・ムーランを中心にバンドを再編成し、後にピエール・ムーランズ・ゴングと名乗り1988年まで活動した。アレンは脱退後プラネット・ゴング、ニューヨーク・ゴングなどを結成。妻ジリ・スマイスはマザー・ゴングを結成。他にも、元ピエール・ムーランズ・ゴングのメンバーによるゴングジラ、Acid Mothers Templeと合体したアシッド・マザーズ・ゴングなど、ゴング名を冠するバンドがいくつも誕生し、ゴング・グローバル・ファミリーと総称されている。
1969年11月、フランスエクサンプロヴァンスにユダヤ系の言語学者の家庭に生まれる。9歳でエクサンプロヴァンスの音楽院に入学、J・クルティエに師事。その後、マルセイユでピエール・バルビゼに師事。1982年、13歳でパリ国立高等音楽院に入学。ピアノをジャック・ルヴィエ、室内音楽をジェヌヴィエーブ・ジョワに学ぶ。
1984年録音デビュー。1985年ラフマニノフの《ピアノソナタ第2番》の録音により、モントルーのディスク大賞を受賞。同年、パリ音楽院研究科に進みジェルジ・シャーンドル、レオン・フライシャーに学ぶ。1986年エクサン・プロヴァンス音楽祭に出演。1987年よりプロのソリストとしてパリで活動に着手し、ダニエル・バレンボイム指揮のパリ管弦楽団と共演。以後、欧米著名管弦楽団に連続的に客演し世界各国で演奏活動。1990年クリーヴランド管弦楽団の招きで北米デビュー、翌年21歳でアメリカ合衆国に移住。
フランス人であるが、フランス近代音楽にさして興味がないこと、ドイツ・ロマン派音楽にとりわけ魅了されることを明言している。ラフマニノフ以外のレパートリーは、ベートーヴェン、シューマン、ブラームス、ラヴェルのピアノ協奏曲のほか、リヒャルト・シュトラウスの《ブルレスケ》と、ブラームスの後期小品集がある。ドビュッシーなどのフランス人ピアニストの伝統的レパートリーにはあまり取り組んでいなかったが、近年では同作曲家のピアノ曲をリリースするようになった他、バッハやリストも最近取り組むようになった。ショパンについては、来日した際にマウリツィオ・ポリーニが演奏しているのを聴きに行き、それをきっかけとして演奏するようになった。
The height of the band's popularity was in the early to mid 1980s, although it retained a cult following for many years after. The band's music was most recognisable for the sounds it infused with Scottish folk and martial music styles, as well as for playing and engineering their guitar driven sound to evoke the inspirational spirit of bagpipes, fiddles and other traditional folk instruments.
Big Country's first single was "Harvest Home", recorded and released in 1982. It was a modest success, although it did not reach the official UK Singles Chart. Throughout 1984 and 1985 the band toured the UK, Europe, and to a lesser extent the US both as headliners and in support of such bigger-name artists as Queen and Roger Daltrey.
The band's first release came with 1995's Denver, a 7" single released on band member Fat Mike's record label Fat Wreck Chords, featuring two John Denver covers. The band released four more singles in 1996 and 1997, each on a different label and named after the artist covered on that particular release, as well as some compilation appearances.
In late 2006, Fat Wreck Chords released another digital label sampler Christmas Bonus, containing a previously-unreleased cover of Steve Goodman's "City of New Orleans". In August 2006 Me First and the Gimme Gimmes were scheduled to play three dates at PNC Park after Pirates games, but after they got booed on the first night, the next two nights were cancelled. They were to play along with fireworks during the post-game "Skyblast" shows.
As the music scene keeps developing and is always being unpredictable, THE GAME SHOP is interested in making new movement in the club scene and rock scene.They launched two mini albums that can be purchased Japan-wide and from some world wide software-based online digital media store such as iTunes and Beatport.
Keep broadening their musical horizon, the vocalist KIMITO and the synthesizer and manipulator McD of the band are now open for club acts in style of DJ set, track-making and evenmusic producers for other musicians.
GARI is a Japanese electro rock band formed in 1997 in Tokyo with three memebers Yow-Row (Vocals, programming), Yutaka Dokko (Guitar), Naoki Fujimoto (Bass), Kei Kusakabe (Drums). The band debuted on the independent label "DeadstocksandwicH Records" in 1999. In 2005, the band moved to Victor Entertainment and made their major debut. In France, GARI performed concerts at the Japan Expo anime convention in 2007 and 2009.
In live event held in Paris, France in July 2007, GARI was invited from a local record company that released French record of their work, and participated as the only Japanese band. It gained popularity that entrance regulation was required, CD sold out immediately. From the next day, he attracted attention to such an extent that he can be obsessed with coverage attacks from local media. They planned to return to Japan after that, but suddenly decided the expedition live to Finland. The enthusiasm is not limited to France, it has also been released in Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Germany and spreads throughout Europe.
Mop of Head（モップ オブ ヘッド）は2006年に結成。

Power Trip is an American thrash metal band formed in Dallas, Texas in 2008. Their sound has been described by critics as a cross between thrash metal and hardcore punk, as well as simply crossover thrash. Power Trip's current lineup consists of Riley Gale (vocals), Chris Ulsh (drums), Chris Whetzel (bass), Blake “Rossover” Ibanez (guitar), and Nick Stewart (guitar).
In 2013, the band signed with the Southern Lord Records label and released their first studio album, Manifest Decimation. Their second album, Nightmare Logic, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. In 2018, the album Opening Fire: 2008-2014 was released as a way to compile their extra tracks.

Second to None is an album by the Japanese R&B duo Chemistry, released on January 8, 2003 by Sony Music Japan.
Chemistry (styled as CHEMISTRY) is a Japanese pop duo, consists of Yoshikuni Dōchin (堂珍 嘉邦, born November 17, 1978) and Kaname Kawabata (川畑要, born January 28, 1979). They were the winners of the Asayan audition (similar to the American Idol series) in 2000 organized by Sony Music Entertainment Japan.
Chemistry is also known in Korea for the popular collaboration song "Let's Get Together Now," featuring talents from both Korea and Japan and for collaborating with Korean singer Lena Park who appears in the B-side "Dance with Me" on the "Kimi ga Iru" single.
