The orchestra plays frequently at Tokyo Opera City, in Shinjuku, Orchard Hall, part of the Bunkamura (文化村) shopping and entertainment complex in Shibuya, and Suntory Hall, in Akasaka, Tokyo.
In 2011, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its 100th anniversary as Japan’s first symphony orchestra. With about 130 musicians, TPO performs both symphonies and operas regularly. TPO is proud to have appointed Maestro Myung-Whun Chung, who has been conducting TPO since 2001, as Honorary Music Director, Maestro Andrea Battistoni as Chief Conductor and Maestro Mikhail Pletnev as Special Guest Conductor.

尾高 忠明（おたか ただあき、1947年11月8日 - ）は、日本の指揮者。東京芸術大学音楽学部指揮科名誉教授。
作曲家・指揮者である尾高尚忠の次男として神奈川県鎌倉市に生まれる。兄は作曲家尾高惇忠。妻の尾高遵子（ゆきこ）はピアニストである。父方の伯父の尾高朝雄は西田幾多郎門下の東大法学部元教授（法哲学）、同じく伯父の尾高邦雄は東大文学部元教授（労働社会学）、従兄の尾高煌之助は一橋大学経済研究所元教授、曾祖父の尾高惇忠は富岡製糸場の初代工場長などを務めた明治期の実業家である。曾祖父惇忠の従弟で妹婿であった実業家渋沢栄一もまた忠明の曾祖父であり、作曲家諸井三郎・誠親子とも渋沢家、および従兄の会計学者諸井勝之助を通じて縁戚関係にある。母方の親族では、チェリスト倉田澄子が従姉、女優・演出家長岡輝子が伯母にあたる。
桐朋学園大学で斎藤秀雄に指揮を師事する。第2回民音指揮者コンクールで第2位に入賞する。NHK交響楽団指揮研究員を経て、ウィーン国立音楽大学に留学、ハンス・スワロフスキーに師事した。NHK交響楽団と数多く共演し、大河ドラマのテーマ曲指揮も数多く担当した。30歳前後の頃は『音楽の広場』などのNHK番組にレギュラー出演、指揮だけではなく柔和なトークでお茶の間に親しまれ、クラシック音楽啓蒙にも尽力した。1974年から長年にわたり東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団常任指揮者を務め、現在は桂冠指揮者である。1992年からは、読売日本交響楽団常任指揮者を6年間務め、現在は名誉客演指揮者である。
1987年にBBCウェールズ交響楽団首席指揮者（現桂冠指揮者）に就任後、エルガー、ウォルトン、ブリテンなどのイギリス音楽を数多く手がけ、大英帝国勲章、エルガーメダルなどを受章した。
鄭 明勳（欧文表記：Myung-Whun Chung, 1953年1月22日 - ）は韓国ソウル生まれの指揮者・ピアニスト。アメリカ国籍。ヴァイオリニストのチョン・キョンファとチェリストのチョン・ミョンファは実姉。チョン・ミュンフンと日本語表記されることもある。
公務員の父と料理店経営の母の下、7人兄弟の下から2番目（三男）として生まれる。幼い頃からピアノを学び、7歳でソウル市交響楽団（ソウル・フィル）とハイドンのピアノ協奏曲を共演するなど、早くから才能を開花させた。
1961年、母親がシアトルで韓国料理店を開くため一家で渡米（2人の姉は既にニューヨークで学んでいた）。1967年にはシアトルでリサイタルを開催している。1968年にニューヨークへ移り、1971年からマネス音楽大学でピアノをナディア・ライゼンバーグに、指揮をカール・ブラムバーガーに師事。同年、姉ミョンファがジュネーヴ国際音楽コンクールチェロ部門で第1位を獲得した際のピアノ伴奏を務めた。1974年 にアメリカ人としてチャイコフスキー国際コンクールピアノ部門に出場し第2位に入賞。以後、指揮の勉強と並行してピアニストとして活動し、1979年にはシャルル・デュトワ指揮のロサンジェルス・フィルハーモニックとチャイコフスキーのピアノ協奏曲第1番をデッカにレコーディングしている。

An avalanche (also called a snowslide) is an event that occurs when a cohesive slab of snow lying upon a weaker layer of snow fractures and slides down a steep slope. A dystopia (from Ancient Greek δυσ- "bad" and τόπος "place"; alternatively, cacotopia,[1] kakotopia, or simply anti-utopia) is a community or society that is undesirable or frightening.[2][3] It is translated as "not-good place" and is an antonym of utopia, a term that was coined by Sir Thomas More and figures as the title of his best known work, Utopia, published 1516, a blueprint for an ideal society with minimal crime, violence and poverty.
Dystopian societies appear in many fictional works and artistic representations particularly in stories set in the future. Some of the most famous examples are George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. Dystopias are often characterized by dehumanization,[2] tyrannical governments, environmental disaster,[3] or other characteristics associated with a cataclysmic decline in society. Dystopian societies appear in many sub-genres of fiction and are often used to draw attention to society, environment, politics, economics, religion, psychology, ethics, science or technology. Some authors use the term to refer to existing societies, many of which are or have been totalitarian states or societies in an advanced state of collapse.
Some scholars, such as Gregory Claeys and Lyman Tower Sargent, make certain distinctions between typical synonyms of dystopias. For example, Claeys and Sargent define literary dystopias as societies imagined as substantially worse than the society in which the author writes, whereas anti-utopias function as criticisms of attempts to implement various concepts of utopia.[4] In his Dystopia: A Natural History (Oxford University Press, 2017) Claeys offers a more nuanced and historical approach to these definitions. Here the tradition is traced from early reactions to the French Revolution. Its commonly anti-collectivist character is stressed, and the addition of other themes (the dangers of science and technology, of social inequality, of corporate dictatorship, of nuclear war) are also traced.

Nazareth ( ; Hebrew: נָצְרַת , Natzrat; Arabic: النَّاصِرَة , an-Nāṣira; Aramaic: ܢܨܪܬ , Naṣrath) is the capital and the largest city in the Northern District of Israel. Nazareth is known as "the Arab capital of Israel". In 2017 its population was 76,551. The inhabitants are predominantly Arab citizens of Israel, of whom 69% are Muslim and 30.9% Christian. Nazareth Illit (lit. "Upper Nazareth"), declared a separate city in June 1974, is built alongside old Nazareth, and had a Jewish population of 40,312 in 2014.
In the New Testament, the town is described as the childhood home of Jesus, and as such is a center of Christian pilgrimage, with many shrines commemorating biblical events.
One view holds that "Nazareth" is derived from one of the Hebrew words for 'branch', namely ne·ṣer, נֵ֫צֶר, and alludes to the prophetic, messianic words in Book of Isaiah 11:1, 'from (Jesse's) roots a Branch (netzer) will bear fruit'. One view suggests this toponym might be an example of a tribal name used by resettling groups on their return from exile. Alternatively, the name may derive from the verb na·ṣar, נָצַר, "watch, guard, keep," and understood either in the sense of "watchtower" or "guard place", implying the early town was perched on or near the brow of the hill, or, in the passive sense as 'preserved, protected' in reference to its secluded position. Another theory holds that the Greek form Nazara, used in Matthew and Luke, may derive from an earlier Aramaic form of the name, or from another Semitic language form. If there were a tsade (צ) in the original Semitic form, as in the later Hebrew forms, it would normally have been transcribed in Greek with a sigma instead of a zeta. This has led some scholars to question whether "Nazareth" and its cognates in the New Testament actually refer to the settlement known traditionally as Nazareth in Lower Galilee. Such linguistic discrepancies may be explained, however, by "a peculiarity of the 'Palestinian' Aramaic dialect wherein a sade (ṣ) between two voiced (sonant) consonants tended to be partially assimilated by taking on a zayin (z) sound."

2014年3月29日に行われたイベント「BELLNOKO」（BELLRING少女ハート×TAKENOKO▲）にてデビューした「呪い」がコンセプト二人組アイドルユニット。
2015年1月14日に初の流通版シングル「idoll」をリリース。3月29日には渋谷Duoにて1stワンマンライブを行う。この際のグッズには、イラストレーター「HIZGI（ひつぎ）」とのコラボグッズが展開される。8月2日にはタワーレコードのアイドルレーベル箱レコォズよりシングルをリリース。またタワーレコードが行う施策、「NO MUSIC,NO IDOL?」ポスターにも初登場する。
2016年2月23日にはアルバム「イケニエ」をリリース。ジャケットイラストに今井キラが起用される。3月5日には東京キネマ倶楽部にて2ndワンマンライブを行う。この際のグッズは森チャックのグル〜ミ〜とコラボ展開が行われた。3月29日にはメンバーのしらいが卒業し、7月4日に渋谷eggmanで開催された箱レコォズ初主催イベント「箱祭2016」にて、ねうに加え、みおり（元ひまわり女子/雪村美織）・みのる（元白玉ピロリン帝国/白玉ましろ）を加えた3人で再始動するが、翌年2017年7月4日にみのるが卒業。7月13日には新たな新メンバー「ゆらね」「ちゅん」の二人が加わり4人体制として活動を始める。
メンバーのねうは2016年4月9日より、ユニットと平行して「ねうちゃん」名義でソロ活動を開始している。 また毎週第2、第3木曜日にはYoutubeLiveにて「ねうラジ！」を配信中。

2016年6月17日にデビュー。「われがままに。自分らしく歌う。」をコンセプトに活動をしている。グループ名の我儘ラキアは「我儘は自分が思うがまま、自分のやりたいがまま 活動していこう。ラキアの部分には意味はない。ラキアと聞いて我儘ラキアと呼ばれるように造語としてつけた」。

西洋のカードゲームBullshitが日本に伝わったゲームである。日本語のゲーム名ダウトは、英語でのゲームの別名I Doubt ItのDoubt（ダウト）の単語に由来する。大阪、兵庫などの関西圏ではダウトが訛った座布団の名称で呼ばれる。その名前から由来して座布団の上にカードを出す遊び方をする。
各プレイヤーの手札が少なくなるにつれて、順番に対応するカードを出せる確率が低くなっていくので、他のプレイヤーに「ダウト」をかけられやすくなる。しかし、プレイヤー全員の手札が少なくなった状態で自ら「ダウト」をかけることは既に出された札が多いわけであり、出された札をすべて引っ込めなければならなくなった時の敗戦の危険性が高くなる。途中「ダウト」が迫っても出す順番は一定であることを利用して、順番に対応するカードがどれになるのかを各プレイヤーが瞬時に予測し、いつダウトのカードを出すか、いつ「ダウト」とコールするのか、などの戦略がこのゲームの勝敗において重要な鍵を握る。
KYOHEI（キョウヘイ）
外道（げどう、サンスクリット語: tīrthika 、パーリ語: titthiya ）とは、仏教用語で、悟りを得る内道（ないどう）に対する言葉である。経典によっては「異道・邪道」などとも呼ばれる。
転じて、一般に道に外れた人全般も意味する。

仏典では96種（または95種）の外道があるとされる。『薩婆多論』によると六師外道のそれぞれが15種類の異なる弟子の法を出し、師の説と合わせて16種類になるため、6×16で96種類になるというが、『法華文句記』はこの説に反対している。
上記の用法から転じて、正論者から見て異論邪説を唱える人たちのことを貶めてこう呼ぶようになった。これがまた転じて日常用語となり、人の中でも特に卑劣な者、人の道や道徳から外れた者などを罵るために使う言葉になった。

UchuSentai:Noiz (宇宙戦隊NOIZ Uchū Sentai Noizu) is a Japanese indie visual kei rock band originally formed in 1996. They are known for their energetic music, wild cosplay-like outfits, and live shows full of energy. The band is also known for its dedication to humanitarian aid, visiting orphanages and typhoon-ravaged areas in the Philippines.
To date, the band has released ten albums, thirty-three singles and four foreign song cover videos. Their highest charting on the Oricon album chart is number 73 for METEORS.
Currently, UchuSentai:Noiz is part of the contestants of I Love OPM, the ABS-CBN's singing reality competition for foreigners who performed Original Pilipino Music songs, which the band are part of the Top 24 of the competition
Early activities (1996 – 2002)
Original members S@TT-ON and ANGEL-TAKA formed the band in 1996, originally named NOIZ. In 1999, former roadie MASATO was included into the band, and NOIZ released a mini album entitled Imitation PoPs in March of that year. In 2002, the concept of the band being a group of space warriors (宇宙戦隊 uchuu sentai) was introduced.
Imitation PoPs UchuSentai:Noiz (2002 - 2007)
The group released their first full-length album release, Cyborg Rock Show Kanzenban (サイボーグロックショウ完全盤 Saibōgu Rokku Shou Kanzenban) under the name Imitation PoPs UchuSentai:Noiz (Imitation PoPs 宇宙戦隊NOIZ) in the year 2003 with the members KYO and TAKEswiy as bassist and guitarist, respectively. Their second album release, Zero no keifu (ゼロの系譜) debuted on the Oricon album chart at number 240, while their third album EGO-Style broke the top 100 Oricon rankings in 2005.
UchuSentai:Noiz and lineup change (2007 - 2009)
In 2007, the band’s name was shortened to UchuSentai:Noiz (宇宙戦隊NOIZ Uchū Sentai Noizu), and the album Terra was released, containing 8 tracks previously released as singles along with 5 new recordings. The official fan club Miracle Rocket was launched in February 2007. The album Cube was released in October 2008, the band’s last studio release with the five original band members. A compilation album, GREAT ROCK N ROLL HEROES was released in 2009, before members S@TT-ON and TAKEswiy announced their departure from the band, to be replaced by members KOTARO (guitar) and YAMATO (drums).
GENOM EMOTION, IMP, HIGH FIVE and Narda (2009 – 2012)
With the new lineup, the band released the free full-length album release GENOM EMOTION on November 9, 2010 on their official website. The year 2011 saw the release of the album IMP, as well as the final tour performance DVD JAPAN TOY'S PANIC TOUR KING OF ONEMAN & EVENT SHOW 2011 GENOM EMOTION FINAL ATTACK AT SHIBUYA O-EAST featuring the songs from GENOM EMOTION. The band released a mini album, HIGH FIVE, on May 2, 2012, before releasing a music video covering the Filipino rock band Kamikazee’s Narda in August to launch their Philippine tour.
METEORS and untitled album (2012 – present)
Following their Philippine tour, the band released the full-length album ‘METEORS’ in September 2012 as UCHUSENTAI:NOIZ. In 2013, the band released the singles PRECOG, Parallel Mind, Corona, One Order and Laika, as well as the tour performance album METEORS FINAL ATTACK AT OSAKA Bigcat. The band’s vocalist ANGEL-TAKA set out on a humanitarian mission to Tacloban, Philippines in December 2013, visiting the victims of Typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) and sending school supplies to elementary school children.
A trilogy of videos was released in April 2014, featuring covers of Filipino songs: Liwanag sa Dilim by Rivermaya, Superhero by Rocksteddy, and Pinoy Ako by Orange and Lemons, to raise support for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. UchuSentai:NOIZ returned to the Philippines in May 2014 to perform at the Best of Anime 2014 -Summer Live!- events in Manila and Davao City as well as announce their plans for a Philippine album release featuring the Filipino version of the song Happy tied and an English version of the song kanata (カナタ, "distance"), along with new original compositions.
