Tetsuya Kumakawa ( Tetsuya Kumakawa , March 5, 1972 ) is a ballet dancer, choreographer and director from Hokkaido, Japan . Former principal of the Royal Ballet of the United Kingdom . He founded K Ballet Company in 1999 and works as artistic director. President of K Ballet School since 2003 . Art director of Bunkamura Orchard Hall since 2012 . When Hokkaido Asahikawa born, his father's job change at the age of three, he moved to Sapporo City . At the age of 10, he began to study ballet under the influence of his cousin Hirotaka Takahashi (currently the UK Northern Ballet Theater Principal ). Studied with Reiko Kutomi and Takao Hisako.

Kバレエ カンパニー (けいバレエ -、K-BALLET COMPANY) は、世界的バレエダンサーである熊川哲也が主宰し東京都文京区に本拠を置くバレエ団。1999年創立。熊川が芸術監督を務める。名誉総裁はA・ダウエル。
F・アシュトン、G・バランシンやR・プティの振付作品や熊川自身の新演出よる古典バレエ、オリジナルの振付作品など、高いレベルのダンサーと世界的デザイナーとのコラボによる舞台美術・衣装など評価が高く、バレエ公演は国内でも突出した集客を誇っている。所属するダンサーは約60名、年間の総公演数は約50回。
1996年、熊川が当時所属していた英国ロイヤル・バレエ団の夏期休暇中に、"Made in London" と称するバレエ公演を日本でおこなったのを発端とする。シーズン休暇中、当時の同僚10名と共に新作と古典の小品の交えた舞台を上演した。この企画は1998年まで毎夏続けられた。
1998年9月、熊川がロイヤル・バレエ団からの退団を発表。程なくして、同じく熊川の同僚であった5人の男性舞踊手も退団。翌1999年1月、熊川が旗振り役となり6人を基幹とする新たなバレエ団、「Kバレエ カンパニー」の結成が発表された。
結成時のメンバーは、熊川と上記5人のほか、オーディションで選ばれた日本人女性のコール・ド・バレエ、客演者として現役のロイヤルの女性プリンシパルと第一ソリスト数名で、総勢26名だった。英国在住者が中心のため拠点をロンドンに置き、民放のTBSテレビが日本に招聘するという形でビジネスパートナーとして提携。欧州での公演も行い、日本は巡演の一部と位置づけられていた。初年度は外部の振付家に委嘱して作ったコンテンポラリー作品や古典の楽曲による新振付の小品を出し物とし、日本国内では春・冬の2度の巡演でそれぞれ約20日間の公演をおこなった。
シアターオーケストラトーキョー(英: Theater Orchestra Tokyo )は、東京都文京区に本拠地を置くオーケストラ。2005年創立。現在の音楽監督は井出勝大。Kバレエカンパニーの公演における演奏を中心とした、バレエ音楽の演奏に特化したオーケストラである。
2005年、バレエ音楽の演奏を中心とし、劇場を主な活動の場とする管弦楽団として結成。同年、Kバレエカンパニーの『くるみ割り人形』公演での演奏を皮切りに、2006年より全てのKバレエカンパニー公演において演奏を務めている。
2007年1月、福田一雄が音楽監督に就任(現在は名誉音楽監督)。
現在は、Kバレエカンパニーの公演のみならず、パリ・オペラ座バレエ団、ウィーン国立バレエ団、ロシア国立モスクワ・クラシックバレエ団の来日公演や、日本バレエ協会など、国内外のバレエ公演における演奏のほか、JAM Project「シンフォニックコンサート2011」への出演、青島広志プロデュースによる「世界まるごとクラシック」シリーズや「バレエ音楽ってステキ!!」シリーズなど、バレエ公演の演奏以外の活動も行っている。
Kei Sugino was born in Kanagawa Perfecture. He began Ballet at the age of 6. He entered the K Ballet School in 2008. On August 11, he joined K Ballet Company as an artist.

Narita Atsushi was born in Osaka. She started ballet from the age of two and studied at the Mannheim National Ballet Academy in Germany in 2009. During her time at the university, she appeared in numerous performances such as Karlsruhe State Ballet "Swan Lake" and "Leeds Marriage". Joined universal ballet company in Korea for 13 years. Debuted with a starring act in '17 Nutcracker '.
