The orchestra plays frequently at Tokyo Opera City, in Shinjuku, Orchard Hall, part of the Bunkamura (文化村) shopping and entertainment complex in Shibuya, and Suntory Hall, in Akasaka, Tokyo.
In 2011, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its 100th anniversary as Japan’s first symphony orchestra. With about 130 musicians, TPO performs both symphonies and operas regularly. TPO is proud to have appointed Maestro Myung-Whun Chung, who has been conducting TPO since 2001, as Honorary Music Director, Maestro Andrea Battistoni as Chief Conductor and Maestro Mikhail Pletnev as Special Guest Conductor.
TPO has established its world-class reputation through its subscription concert series, regular opera and ballet assignments at the New National Theatre, and a full, ever in-demand agenda around Japan and the world, including broadcasting with NHK Broadcasting Corporation, various educational programs, and tours abroad. In March, 2014, TPO became a global sensation in its centennial world tour of six major cities: New York, Madrid, Paris, London, Singapore and Bangkok. In December 2015, TPO held Beethoven’s 9th symphony concerts in Seoul and Tokyo with Mastro Myung-Whun Chung, with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra combined into one orchestra. TPO has partnerships with Bunkamura Orchard Hall, the Bunkyo Ward in Tokyo, Chiba City, Karuizawa Cho in Nagano and Nagaoka City in Niigata.
風変わりなバンド名はメンバーのマイク・ノシートの友人のジョニーがジャズ嫌いであったことから。 キーボード担当のカルヴィン・ヘイズの父親は、RAKレコードのオーナーで、スージー・クアトロやアニマルズのプロデューサーとして有名なミッキー・モスト。
その父親の経営するRAKレコードから1986年にシングル「Me and My Foolish Heart」でデビュー。翌年1987年にヴァージン・レコードに移ってリリースした「Shattered Dreams」が全英5位、全米2位のヒットを記録。続くヒット・シングル「I Don't Want to Be a Hero」（邦題「反逆のヒーロー」）は日本でも後に演歌歌手となる長山洋子がアイドル時代にカバーしてヒットさせている。さらにファーストアルバムの「Turn Back the Clock」も全英1位を獲得し、順風満帆かと思われたが、1988年にボーカルのクラーク・ダッチェラーが脱退。後釜として元ザ・キュアーのベーシスト、フィル・ソーナリーをボーカリストに迎え活動を続けたものの、 セカンドアルバム「Tall Stories」のリリース直前にカルヴィン・ヘイズが交通事故で大ケガを負い、1年以上も音楽活動が出来ない事態となってしまい、最終的にバンドは解散してしまう。
2007年9月、カルヴィン・ヘイズとマイク・ノシートのオリジナルメンバー2人にボーカリストのダニー・サクソンを加えてジョニー・ヘイツ・ジャズを再結成することを発表。再結成ツアーも行われた。
さらに、2009年10月にはクラーク・ダッチェラーも復帰してニューアルバムを制作することが発表される。2010年にはイギリス、デンマーク、シンガポールでライブが開催されるとともに、本格的にアルバムの制作に入る。レコーディングは2011年から2012年にかけて、ピーター・ガブリエル所有のリアル・ワールド・スタジオなどで行われた。

Giant Night is a DJ party being done by Dienoji who are Japanese comedy duo by Yosuke Ochi and Nobuhiko Otani. Ochi is the leading world air guitarist.
From such feelings Giant Night was born in Aoyama's "blue room" in 2005.
From that time Dienoji participated for the first time as a DJ at the Countdown Japan Festival, involved in crowded enthusiasts with overcrowded spectator.
And in 2006, Air Guitar which was part of DJ 's performance glows the world in the world.
Summer Sonic, Rock In Japan Festival etc, they also organized projects that featured specific artists such as Arashi, Kenji Ozawa, Fuji Fabric, Yellow Monkey, Michelle Gun Elephant.

His twitter account that he tweets typical story of "live kids" (people who often go to Japanese rock live events) is followed by 60,000 followers. He is popular not only on social media but also in real life event. He plays more than 100 times a year at huge big rock festivals and live events all over Japan. He is young and energetic DJ of these days.

Super powers warriors Durian is Japanese three-piece rock band formed on 20 June 2016.
Yassan is on vocals and guitar. Ochi-kun is on vocals and dance. Ketsu-puri is on chorus and guitar.
The band has a mascot character called Peach boy. Their band name include "Durian" but their mascot character is a peach.

Su凸ko D凹koi（スットコドッコイ）は、日本のガールズバンド。
感覚ピエロ（かんかくピエロ）は日本の4人組ロックバンド。所属レーベルは自主レーベルのJIJI RECORDS。
バンド結成以来、どの音楽レーベルやマネジメント会社にも所属しないインディーズ・バンドとして、自分たちでレーベルを運営し、アートワークの作成からレコーディングのミックスやマスタリングまですべてメンバー自身が手がけるなど、DIYで活動している。
魔法少女になり隊（まほうしょうじょになりたい）は、日本の4人組バンド。略称はましょ隊。
2014年1月、火寺バジルがしゃべれなくなる呪いをかけられたため、魔法少女になり隊の冒険が始まる。火寺バジル、gari、ウイ・ビトン、明治の4人は、歌という魔法を使ってバンドの形式を用いてライブ活動を行っている。
Ice Cream Never Ground (aka ING) is a Japanese entertainment band formed in 2017. They are based on Kansai (West Japan) area.
The band consists of six people with male and female twin vocals. They have a non-musical concept of promoting the live floor athletic festival.
They are based on Mixture Rock, which contains elements such as metal, hardcore, melocore, hip hop and other elements as the main tune.
However, if it is for trying to bring excitement to the heart and body of the listener, they are indifferent to the genre.
They started with an eager idea by hardcore live kids, bob, overcoming the path of finding members of thorns over several years in September 2017.
Finally, they completed a sound source, "Opening declaration", with two songs, and start live activity.

リンゴ・スター（Ringo Starr、KBE、1940年7月7日 - ）は、イギリスのミュージシャン、俳優。本名・リチャード・スターキー（Sir Richard Starkey）。ザ・ビートルズのメンバー。
ザ・ビートルズのドラマー。左利きだが右利き用のドラム・セットを使っている。メンバー4人の内リンゴだけはクオリーメン時代からのオリジナルメンバーでは無い。
ビートルズのメンバーの中では、作曲能力の優れたジョン・レノンとポール・マッカートニーの影に隠れ、ジョージ・ハリスンと同様に地味な存在だったが、リンゴのドラムスはビートルズサウンドの要としてメンバーを支え続けた。曲の基本理念によって全く異なるノリを構築するリンゴの"間"の作り方の器用さ・引き出しの多彩さはポールのベースラインと並んで評価が高く『レコード・コレクターズ』の「20世紀のベスト・ドラマー100」では2位にランクしている。また「ボーイズ」「グッド・ナイト」「イエロー・サブマリン」などリンゴがリードボーカルを務めた楽曲もある。ソロでの代表曲には「想い出のフォトグラフ」「明日への願い」などがある。
現在の妻は映画『007 私を愛したスパイ』のボンドガールで有名な女優のバーバラ・バック。ドラマーのザック・スターキーは長男。ザックの娘ターシャ・スターキーはベーシストとして活動している。
ビートルズ解散後も現在までソロミュージシャンとして活動している。なお、ビートルズのメンバーで存命しているのは、他では現時点でポール・マッカートニーだけである（他の2人は既に他界している）。

yahyel（ヤイエル）は、日本のバンド。2015年3月に池貝峻、篠田ミル、杉本亘の3人で結成。同年5月に自主制作EP「Y」をBandcamp上で公開。同年8月、ライブ活動を本格化させるのに伴い、ドラマーに大井一彌、VJとして映像作家の山田健人を新メンバーに加えた。2016年、初のアルバム「Flesh and Blood」を発表。
バンド名は、ニューエイジ思想家バシャールによる造語で、2015年以降に人類が初めて接触する異星人（宇宙人）を指す。日本人という帰属を背負いながらもそのギミックを使わずに世界に向けて音楽を発信すると、国外からは日本的ギミックがない表現は黄色人種による「猿まね」と映るし、国内からは「日本人離れ」と表現される。その状況を宇宙人だと自称せざるを得ないことに対して皮肉を込めて名乗っている
女王蜂（じょおうばち）は、群で生活を行う真社会性を有するハチの集団において、繁殖に携わる雌の個体のことである。アリやシロアリの場合は女王蟻と言う。その群れの中で中心として巣に単身で君臨するように見えることから、この名があたえられた。しかし実際には特に群れを統率するというような行動や役割を有するものではなく、生物学的には生殖虫という。
例えばミツバチの群を形作るのは働き蜂（雌）、雄蜂、そして女王蜂の3種類で、産卵能力を持たない働き蜂に対して、女王蜂は産卵能力を有す。ミツバチの群における女王蜂は、働き蜂、雄蜂と異なり蜜を餌とせず、ローヤルゼリーを餌とし、その群の求心力となる。
創作等では女王蜂と王蜂が巣に君臨しているように描かれる例もあるが、ハチやアリではこのようなものは存在せず、雄は交尾すると死んでしまう（シロアリでは女王と王がいる）。
一般的には女王蜂（または女王蟻）は単独で巣を作り、繁殖を開始する。子供が育つと働き蜂（または働き蟻）になるから、それに巣や子の世話を任せ、繁殖のみを行うようになる。したがって、一つの群れの個体はすべて女王の子である。ただし、女王が途中で死んだ場合、群れの中から新たに女王が生まれる例もある。これは、女王が出すフェロモンが働き蜂（または働き蟻）の繁殖能力を奪っているためと考えられる。
女王蜂（または女王蟻）は普通は働き蜂（または働き蟻）より体が大きい。アシナガバチ、スズメバチ（それにアリ）では形態的には大差なく、一回り大きいだけであるが、ミツバチでは一見して女王蜂の腹部が特に大きいのがわかる。シロアリの場合、女王蟻の腹部は極端に大きくなる。褐色の外骨格はそのままであるが、その間の皮膚が伸びて、種類によってはソーセージのような腹部に小さな頭部と胸部がついたようになり、身動きもできない。
SEKITOVA is a Japanese DJ/Producer born in Osaka on a new year’s day of 1995.
Even before he was born, he already had a prenatal influence such as Joey Beltram and Dave Angel and was exposed to various electronic music who is literally from a second generation. He had so much influence other than techno, and with a motto "Techno is not a genre but an attitude to face it." in his heart, his music selection goes beyond genre and is focused on story-telling.
2013 was a break-through year for him. He was booked for main stage of Big Beach Festival and not only that, he was constantly invited to monster techno party Clash held at ageHa. In 2014, 3-hour-long SEKITOVA ONLY program was streamed on DOMMUNE by Naohiro Ukawa in collaboration with his first ever self organized party which was on a good note.
He also made appearances at wide range of parties from first edition of Ultra Japan by Ultra Music Festival to Wired Clash which is a collaboration party of Wire and Clash as well as main floor of Womb in Shibuya for its 15th anniversary showing his steady progress in his career in the scene.
