Sein Cover "Monroe Walk" von Hiroumi Township wurde 1979 mit dem Titel "Sexy You" veröffentlicht und wurde ein großer Hit. 1981 sang er das Titellied des Originalfilms "Make it a slow boogie" und wurde 1991 zum Image-Song von Honda.
