Satoshi Uemura is the director of New National Theater, born in Tokyo in 1979. In 2001, he joined the Theater Institute of Literature and worked on the first production at the Atelier's Association "Baked Garden" in 2005 and was promoted to a seat. Since 2009, he has studied abroad in Germany for one year under the Cultural Affairs Budding Arts Overseas Study Abroad Program.
