Sawagi is a Japanese instrumental rock band.
They incorporates the essence of rock, jazz, funk, electro, etc based on the concept of dance music. Four persons set instrumental band to make a rich arrangement. Their 1st album "hi hop" released in 2009 was selected as a recommendation "Tower Recomend" of Tower Records, and at the same time refined live performances were also rumored and it also appeared in "SUMMER SONIC '09 Osaka".
In 2011, Sawagi hosts their own event "Mitole" at Osaka BIGCAT and then moved the base of their activities from Kansai to Tokyo. From 2014, their Dj's voluntary project "Parabola" will be held every other month. Sawagi also do activities such as Aira Mitsuki 's production, CASIO KIDS, Low Frequency Club, Rina Fujii, The Best of jazzin' for Ghibli (VA) remix.
