Shinji Fujiwara was born on March 25, 1992. His father is a Japanese and his mother is a Chinese. He started playing the piano at the age of 3 under the guidance of his mother.
After graduating from Toho Music College junior high school, he went to Hungary from 2010 and studied at the Hungarian National List Conservatory.
During the study abroad time, he was awarded a Higher Education Scholarship Stipendium from the Hungarian Government. After 6 years of training, he graduated with the best grades of the graduate school MSc in June 2016.
He won the Italian Ischia International Piano Competition and many other competitions.
He also performs a lot of solo and chamber music concerts in the Czech Republic.
