ROBERT BAUERSTATTER is a Viola artist.he was born in Linz, Austria in 1971. After receiving education at the music school of Leoning, he studied at Bruckner Conservatory of Linz. From 1989 at Vienna State College of Music, S. Fürlinger, HP Okusen Hofer learned Viola and graduated with excellent results in 2000. From 1998 to 2001, he became a member of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra from the Vienna-Thornküstler Orchestra.
Three years later he became a member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and was appointed chief player of the Viola section. He is also active as a member of the ensemble of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra such as the Kuhill Quartet and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.
HE performed numerous concert performances on television and radio, and have recorded 15 CDs so far. As a soloist, he performed with orchestras throughout Austria, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, Varna Philharmonic Orchestra, Mexican National Autonomous University Orchestra. Pastelitz, AF Hoffmeister, P. Hindemit, B. Martineau, M. Bruch, H. Berlioz, I. Pra elu, and the recording of Viola Concerto in I. P. er. Has been released. The instruments used are Stefan von Bare, made in 2002.
