Matt Sounds of Japan that is rumored that there is not anything to the right in the world if Jamaican vintage music is played. Beginning from the back of Keith & Tex in 2014, they tried backing back of Carlton & The Shoes, Leroy Sibulus, Stranger Call, Christopher Ellis, Bobby Seaton, and they said "Are there such a good bands?". A band rarely found in the world that can reproduce the golden age of Jamaican music of the 1960s, receiving directly from the Jamaican Legends and rehearsals and actual details.

On April 16th late recording Gladstone "Gladdy" Anderson's demo song "How Good And How Pleasant" recorded 7 inches was debuted.
In November 16, recording was done at Red Bull Studios Tokyo mainly on the songs that had been playing until then, released the long-awaited first album "Matt Sounds" in April 2017. Recordings, mixes, mastering, and albums that hold up to press are receiving high praise from various directions. SKA cover of the theme song of director Akira Kurosawa 's movie "Seven Samurai" recorded in the album is single - cut and this is also calling up a topic.
