Sawako Iseki is a dancer. She is a Noism deputy art director. She was born in Kochi prefecture in 1978. From the age of 3, she studied classical ballet by Sonomiya Sakiko. At the age of 16, she traveled to Europe. After studying at the Zurich National Ballet School in Switzerland, studied under Maurice Béjart at Ludlow · Bejart · Lausanne, she joined the '99 Netherlands Dance Theater II (the Netherlands) and danced works such as Ili · Killian, Ohad · Naharin, Paul · Lightfoot.
In 2001, she moved to Kruberg Ballet (Sweden) and danced works such as Mats Ek and Johan Inger. In April 2004, she became a member forming organization and served as a major part in Mr. Kanemori's work always and is currently attracting high appreciation and attention from various fields as one of Japan's leading dancers. Since Ballet Mistress from '08, she was served as Noism deputy artistic director since '10. She won the 38th Nimura Dance Award.
