Junko Yagami (八神 純子 , Yagami Junko, born 1958) , is a Japanese singer and songwriter from Aichi Prefecture. Yagami's married name is Stanley. She also works under the name of 'June Stanley'. She lives in the United States.
Upbringing
In 1958, Yagami was born in Nagoya as the eldest daughter of Ryozo Yagami, the founder of YAGAMI Co.,LTD. And whom later became the fourth chairman.
Yagami learned the piano at the age of 3 and Japanese dancing from the first grade of elementary school. Yagami states, “I've loved singing ever since I was a little girl, and continued to sing the songs of The Peanuts (ザ・ピーナッツ) and Shirley Bassie songs towards the wall at home.”
