Yuka Nishino is a leader of Quartet Excelsior, one of the few permanent string quartets in Japan. Graduated from Toho Gakuen University Faculty of Music and completed the Graduate School of Music. Second place in the 45th All Japan Student Music Competition / High School category. Appeared in the 66th rookie concert hosted by Yomiuri Shimbun in 1996.
In the same year, she received a scholarship at the recommendation of Toho Gakuen and participated in the Tanglewood Music Festival. Joined Saito Kinen Orchestra since 1996. Appeared in NHK FM Recital in 1997. She has studied under Minamiko Umezu and Takeaki Sumi. In Toppan Hall, she appeared in the 2005, 06, 07 and 2008 New Year concerts as a member of the Chamber Orchestra.
