Yoshifumi Hata (1955) is a Japanese tenor singer, conductor and choir conductor. Former professor of music at Mukogawa Women's University. Born in Tamba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Studied vocals with Shoichiro Tahara, Max van Egmont, and Hermann Christian Polster.

At the time of Hyogo Prefectural Shinoyama Ayane High School, he belonged to the brass band and played the clarinet. There is a choir conductor Shigeki Nishioka as a high school classmate. After being encouraged by a music teacher from high school, and introduced to the vocalist Shoichiro Tahara, he wanted to become a vocalist. After graduating from high school, he entered Osaka College of Music, Department of Music in 1973. Completed graduate school in 1979.

In 1979, performed the first recital in Osaka with accompaniment by Michio Kobayashi. After that, he worked as a soloist and co-starred with world-class performers such as Peter Dam and Jörk Dames. In 1991, he was instructed by Max van Egmont, a famous baroque singer in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Until 2011, he was a soloist, Telemann Chamber Choir conductor and Baroque Core Telemann (B.C.T.) conductor at the Japan Teleman Association. In 2012, he was in charge of the Kansai Philharmonic Choir, newly established in the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition, he is the representative of Schubertiade Japan, Tambanomori International Music Festival Schubertiade Tanba General Producer, and Vice Chairman of the Koshien History and Culture Association.
