Ueda Junko is an opera singer from Tochigi prefecture. She graduated from the vocal music department of the Faculty of Music, Kunitachi College of Music. She enrolled as the 11th grader of the New National Theater Opera Training Institute and studied under Mr. Yoshiko Yoda, Shigeko Ogasawara and Kei Fukui. She performed at the graduate school opera "Idomeneo", Idamante, at the Graduate School Freshman Concert. In 2007 she appeared at the postgraduate opera "Marriage Figaro" role as Cherubino. Ueda Junko won a soprano prize at the 38th Italian Vocal Concord.
