Ogawa Kazuhisa started cello from 11 years old. After graduating from Toho Gakuen School Music School, he studied at the French National Bordeaux Conservatory. He graduated chamber music courses, contemporary music departments and graduate schools as principals, and received the Bordeaux City Honor Award.
In 2000 he won the 4th "Competition for Young Players" (now · Nagoya International Music Competition) Solo Section; the Best Award and the Asahi Shimbun Award. In addition to concluding a special contract with the National Bordeaux Opera and the Ramrus Orchestra, he formed a contemporary music group "Csellox TACLOA", conducted performances mainly in France and Spain, and also participated in numerous congresses.
