Sasaki Dai was born in Osaka in 1972. He began ballet under the age of 6.After that, studied under Seiichi Shinohara, Noboru Miyagi and Takahiroshi Harada. In 1991 he joined the National Russian Ballet Group led by V. Gordeev as a principal. He participated in overseas performances in Europe, Australia, Indonesia etc. After returning to Japan he was on the stage of [LE GALA DES ETOILES] Canada, Greece and Japan, Japan Ballet Association, Japan Ballet Festival and so on. He appeared in Shinohara Seiichi Ballet Recital [DANCE for Life] in 2003, in the role of Jose in "Carmen" in 2008 and in the role of Albrecht in "Gisele" in 2011. In 2009,he starred in the Tokyo Art Festival "Sleeping Beauty".In 2012, he starred in the Tokyo Art Festival "Gisele". In 2014, he starred in the Tokyo Art Festival "Anna Karenina".
