MOA Art Museum is Museum event held in Japan.
The MOA Art Museum was renewed on February 5, 2017 by the architectural design of the new material research institute presided over by Hiroshi Sugimoto and Toshinori Sakakada. In commemoration of this, we will release the work 'Quattro Lagazzi' which was exhibited at the "Hiroshi Sugimoto: Gates of Paradise" exhibition held in Japan Society, New York in the fall of 2017 for the first time in Japan.
In addition to this, this exhibition will also present works related to Tensho Boys' envoy, Christian art, and works related to Nobunaga Oda who opened up Japan in modern times, and the colorful Momoyama period culture and art.
The MOA Museum of Art (エムオーエー美術館 MOA Bijūtsukan) is a private museum in the city of Atami, Japan. It was established in 1982 by the Mokichi Okada Association (MOA) to house the art collection of their founder, multimillionaire and religious leader Mokichi Okada (1882–1955). It also has a reconstruction of the 16th century Golden Tea Room, which was made under the supervision of the architect Sutemi Horiguchi, an expert of sukiya architecture.
