Rumi Shishido (宍戸 留美 , Shishido Rumi, born November 6, 1973) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer from Hiroshima, Japan. Shishido was born in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan as the only daughter of an old Samurai family; her grandfather was a buddhist monk. When she was two, she moved to Hiroshima with her mother after her parents divorced.

She grew up in local Nagoya while being surrounded by songs, music and pictures. In 2005 debuted as a one-piece vocal of midnight Pumpkin. She earned the first place in the Oricon Indie Chart.
She works on composition of many songs of midnight Pumpkin and spread their name in the popularity at live houses throughout Japan. After 9 years activities, in October 2011, midnight Pumpkin activity is suspended.
She started new activities as peppermint from July 2012.
