Following the growing popularity of sake in recent years, the promotion event "EXPERIENCE SHOCHU NYC" for the purpose of expanding the share of shochu and awamori in the US market was held at the Aster Center in Manhattan on the 13th. The event is co-sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japan Brewing Association Central Association (JSS). A total of 16 shochu and Awamori sake makers exhibited and exhibited 44 brands.
