Kazuki Yamada is the conductor of Japan. By April 2016, he had performed in western orchestras such as the Paris Orchestra, the French National Orchestra, the Toulouse Capitol National Orchestra, and directed major Japanese orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra. He studied under the supervision of Kenichiro Kobayashi and Yoko Matsuo at Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music, and graduated in 2001. While in college, he formed the "Tomato Philharmonic Orchestra" (renamed "Yokohama Symphonietta" from 2006) and became music director.
