Aya Yakushiji was born in 1983 in Nara, she started dance when she was a child. She moved to Tokyo for studying various types of dance and spent her amount time with dancing. She has worked at media or concerts as a backup dancer. She encountered with contemporary dance, now she belongs to OrganWorks. Besides she got Pilates instructor certification and works as a Pilates instructor.
While she was working as a dancer, she got knee injury and there was a time when she could not move for a while, so she met Pilates for the purpose of rehabilitation.
Now not only rehab but also incorporating pilates as a training for dancers, making up the body regardless of age or sex, while working as a pilates trainer as a help for those with symptoms such as hernia, scoliosis, etc. Currently working as a dancer focusing on OrganWorks sponsored by Shintaro .
