Vicente Juan Masip (also known as Joan de Joanes) (La Font de la Figuera 1507 – Bocairent 1579) was a Spanish painter of the Renaissance period. He also painted for the churches of the Jesuits, Dominicans, Minims, Augustinians, Franciscans, and for the churches of San Nicolás, Santa Cruz, Carmen Calzado, St Esteban, Corona, Temple, San Andrés, San Bartolomé and San Miguel de los Reyes. His two daughters, Dorotea Joanes (died 1609) and Margarita Joanes (d. 1613), were also painters.

His father was Vicente Masip (Andilla 1475 – Valencia 1545), and his son was Vicente Masip Comes (c. 1555–1623), known as Vicent de Joanes, who imitated his style. He never lacked church patronage; the archbishop of Valencia, St. Thomas of Villanova, ordered a set of cartoon panels about the Life of the Virgin to model for some tapestries. Furthermore, two Italian painters Paolo da San Leocadio and Francesco Pagano, were engaged by cardinal Rodrigo Borgia for painting in Valencia Cathedral.

Flamenco princess JUAN DE JUAN and SIROCO, the first Japanese man in flamenco. The stage of the fullness that two people give!

"The stage flamenco-My local Andalucia" reminds me of Spain and Andalusia, the birthplace of flamenco that JUAN DE JUAN and SIROCO met 7 years ago (2012), and the emotions that Andalusia gave to two people We will spin on a total of 14 Japanese artists.
A special guest, Cantaor (singer) JOSE VALENCIA, headed by Spanish talented SIMON ROMAN, a singing voice of MARA REY, and EL PERLA's guitar dye the stage in Andalusia. The top Japanese musicians and dancers' souls are added to it, transcending countries and races, inspiring inspirations like colorful landscapes and fountains, and the passions, jealousy, and joy that are born.
The overwhelming presence JUAN DE JUAN's masterpiece dance, the world-recognized SIROCO's luscious and passionate dance, and the biggest show, the JUAN DE JUAN and the SIROCO impromptu duo.
Violence, power and beauty, the two ancestral children communicate with their souls, "Stage Flamenco-My Place Andalusia"-Please look forward to it.

JUAN DE JUAN (fan de fan)
Born in 1979 in Seville. Studied with dance dancers such as Manolo Marin, Juan Ramirez, Manolete and Antonio Canales. Joined the Antonio Canales dance group at the age of 16 and appeared in numerous works. In 2004, formed his own dance company. Performed in a large American city and earned high marks in the NY Times. Since 2008, he has continuously presented innovative works that combine flamenco dance and culture and contemporary music such as jazz, hip hop, rap and funk. In the work A , which was performed together with rapper Jr. Miguez, he directed a simple stage that returned to the origin of flamenco, only voice and dance. Through these, I established a position as a representative of the contemporary flamenco world.

SIROCO (Shiroko)
Born in 1982 in Kyoto. In 2002, he was shocked to see Joaquin Cortes in the act of Carlos Saura's movie "Flamenco" and started flamenco. After that he studied abroad in Spain and studied for seven years with the top artist "Emperor" Farruquito of flamenco. Received the Encouragement Award for the 2011 New Flamenco Association New Performances. In 2017, he won his first Japanese male dancer's first prize at the 23rd Anilla La Hitana de Ronda international contest held in the province of Ronda, Spain.
Appeared in the documentary program "Passion Continent" (MBS production authored / TBS national network) in July 2018. The performance name SIROCO means hot air in Spanish.

Tokyo

Tokyo (Japanese: [toːkjoː] , English /ˈ t oʊ k i . oʊ / ), officially Tokyo Metropolis, is the capital of Japan and one of its 47 prefectures. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. It is the seat of the Emperor of Japan and the Japanese government. Tokyo is in the Kantō region on the southeastern side of the main island Honshu and includes the Izu Islands and Ogasawara Islands. Formerly known as Edo, it has been the de facto seat of government since 1603 when Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu made the city his headquarters. It officially became the capital after Emperor Meiji moved his seat to the city from the old capital of Kyoto in 1868; at that time Edo was renamed Tokyo. Tokyo Metropolis was formed in 1943 from the merger of the former Tokyo Prefecture (東京府 , Tōkyō-fu) and the city of Tokyo (東京市 , Tōkyō-shi) .
