Kazuhiko Ishii was born in 1953 in Iwakuni Yamaguchi Pre. His ancestor are in Fukuoka Pre. In 1975, he graduated from The Tokyo College of Music(Bachelor of Arts), where he majored in Horn under Prof.K.Sono, Prof.M.Yasuhara, and Prof.M.Umeda,and studied Conducting under Prof.K.Kobayashi, Piano under Prof.H.Nomoto,Violin under Mari Yamamoto.
