After releasing three records as a solo electronic artist, Shuta Hasunuma (蓮沼執太) revealed the debut album of his new project, a large ensemble featuring all kinds of instruments, from piano and guitars, to violin and saxophone, to euphonium and marimba.
Even the notorious rapper Roy Tamaki makes an appearance. Yet, despite orchestral arrangements, these are still above all songs, full of beautiful melodies and joyful energy.
For this event, the current Hasunuma Philharmonic’s 16 members are joined by 10 new members for a open rehearsal as the “Shuta Hasunuma Full Philharmonic Orchestra,” the first rehearsal toward a summer large-scale symphony performance planned for August 2018.
