Hasunuma started his career by releasing albums created on a laptop computer. Thus he has often been inaccurately categorized as an electronic musician, but his groups Team Shuta Hasunuma and Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra perform music based on human interaction and large ensembles, allowing him to transcend the narrow limitations of laptop music.

For this event, the current Hasunuma Philharmonics 16 members are joined by 10 new members for a open rehearsal as the Shuta Hasunuma Full Philharmonic Orchestra, the first rehearsal toward a summer large-scale symphony performance planned for August 2018. After releasing three records as a solo electronic artist, Shuta Hasunuma (蓮沼執太) revealed the debut album of his new project, a large ensemble featuring all kinds of instruments, from piano and guitars, to violin and saxophone, to euphonium and marimba. Yet, despite orchestral arrangements, these are still above all songs, full of beautiful melodies and joyful energy.

A musical ensemble, also known as a music group or musical group, is a group of people who perform instrumental or vocal music, with the ensemble typically known by a distinct name. Music ensembles typically have a leader. In rock and pop ensembles, usually called rock bands or pop bands, there are usually guitars and keyboards (piano, electric piano, Hammond organ, synthesizer, etc.

In jazz ensembles or combos, the instruments typically include wind instruments (one or more saxophones, trumpets, etc. Conductors are also used in jazz big bands and in some very large rock or pop ensembles (e.g., a rock concert that includes a string section, a horn section and a choir which are accompanying a rock band's performance). Some music ensembles consist solely of singers, such as choirs and doo wop groups.

It officially became the capital after Emperor Meiji moved his seat to the city from the old capital of Kyoto in 1868; at that time Edo was renamed Tokyo. Tokyo Metropolis was formed in 1943 from the merger of the former Tokyo Prefecture (東京府 , Tōkyō-fu) and the city of Tokyo (東京市 , Tōkyō-shi) .
