Koike Kohei is a recorder player. He performs concerts in various parts of Japan as a soloist of recorder and also in Baroque chamber. In 2007, he played with Korean artist Jean Kim. At the 2009 Tokyo Recorder Festival (sponsored by the Yomiuri Shimbun), he appeared as one of the eight recorder soloists. In November 2010, he played all Handel Recorder Sonatas at Handel House Museum in London.
