After graduating from the Kitakyushu Beauty College (presently Fukuoka Beauty College Kitakyushu School) , IKKO started living as a hairdresser at the luxury beauty salon "Hairdressing Sawaii" in Yokohama . She is also acting as a calligrapher under the name of Masaya Miyabi (Miyabi Toyen).
