オリックス・バファローズ（英語: ORIX Buffaloes ）は、日本のプロ野球球団。パシフィック・リーグに所属している。
大阪府をフランチャイズとし、同府大阪市西区にある京セラドーム大阪を本拠地、兵庫県神戸市須磨区にあるほっともっとフィールド神戸を準本拠地としている。
球団全体の練習場と合宿所が神戸市西区に設けられており、二軍（ウエスタン・リーグ所属）の本拠地を同北区にあるあじさいスタジアム北神戸、ほっともっとフィールド神戸サブ球場としているなど、活動拠点は同市におかれているが、2017年からは大阪市此花区の舞洲地区に建設される新球場、室内練習場、選手寮が球団の新たな拠点となり、神戸市からは2016年をもって撤退する（ほっともっとフィールド神戸の使用は継続予定）。
阪神急行電鉄（現阪急電鉄。以下、阪急と記す）は1920年に日本最初のプロ野球球団とされる「日本運動協会」の経営を引き取り「宝塚運動協会」として運営したことがあるが1929年7月に解散しており、後の阪急ブレーブスとの球団としての繋がりはない。しかし小林一三はいずれプロ野球時代が来ると予見していた。1935年に読売新聞社が大日本東京野球倶楽部などが結成したのを受けて、小林は当時アメリカに出張中だったが、出先のワシントンから電報で球団設立を指示し、設立が進められ1936年1月23日に「大阪阪急野球協会」が設立される。発足当時の球団で球場を自前で所有することを計画したのは阪急だけである。小林一三が慶應義塾大学出身だったこともあり、宮武三郎、山下実、山下好一ら慶應のスター選手を入団させ、初代監督にも同OBの三宅大輔を招いた。同年2月5日に結成された日本職業野球連盟に参加。小林一三が、ライバル企業である阪神電気鉄道が立ち上げた大阪タイガースに対抗するため、設立を決意したとも言われる。球団名に阪神急行電鉄の通称である阪急の名称が入っているが、企業名を球団名に入れた日本で最初のプロ野球球団である。
広島東洋カープ（ひろしまとうようカープ、英語: Hiroshima Toyo Carp ）は、日本のプロ野球球団。セントラル・リーグに所属する。
広島県を保護地域とし、同県広島市南区にあるMAZDA Zoom-Zoom スタジアム広島を専用球場（本拠地）としている。また、二軍（ウエスタン・リーグ所属）の本拠地は山口県岩国市にある広島東洋カープ由宇練習場である。
特定の親会社を持たない市民球団を源流としており、他球団と比較して特異な歴史を有する。地元・広島の自動車メーカーであるマツダが球団の3分の1以上の株式を保有する筆頭株主であり、球団名の「東洋」もマツダの旧社名「東洋工業」に由来する。ただし、マツダは広島東洋カープを「持分法を適用していない非連結子会社」と位置づけており 親会社としての球団への資金提供（赤字補填など）など球団経営への積極関与は行っていない。その一方で、マツダ創業家である松田家一族の所有株式を全て合わせるとマツダの所有比率を上回り、議決権ベースでは過半数に達する。歴代のオーナーも松田家から出ていることから、実質的には同族経営を行っているという見方もある。市民が直接株式を保有するという意味での市民球団ではないが、特定の企業に全面依存せずに経営を成り立たせているという意味では今なお市民球団のイメージを有する。

横浜に大リーグ選抜軍が来日した1934年、読売新聞社が大日本東京野球倶楽部を日本のプロ野球球団として結成。それから遅れること2年、1936年1月15日に新愛知新聞社を親会社として名古屋軍（なごやぐん）が誕生した。河野安通志を総監督 (ゼネラルマネージャー) に迎え、池田豊が監督に就任。明治大学の中根之、アメリカ人で捕手のバッキー・ハリス、内野の名手・芳賀直一、日系アメリカ人の高橋吉雄、主将の桝嘉一、スローボーラー・森井茂らが初期メンバー。上述のメジャーリーグ選抜軍来日時に、読売新聞社社長・正力松太郎が新愛知新聞社の田中斎に名古屋でのプロ野球球団結成の働きかけを行ったのが球団誕生の契機。新愛知新聞社傘下の國民新聞社でも大東京軍を結成。当初、読売の正力松太郎が推し進めていた日本職業野球連盟（現在の日本野球機構の源流）とは別個に、独自リーグの大日本野球連盟を組織して各地に同様の球団を4球団結成し、配下には3Aに相当する下部組織を作るなどの、当時としては先進的な構想を抱いていたが頓挫。結局、上記の既存の2球団が正力が設立した日本職業野球連盟に加盟することとなった。当初の商号は名古屋軍が株式会社大日本野球連盟名古屋協会、大東京軍が株式会社大日本野球連盟東京協会であり、大日本野球連盟構想の名残が見られる。2月5日、日本職業野球連盟が結成された。
2005年、みちのくプロレスの新崎人生がGAEA JAPANの里村明衣子に、みちのくプロレス女子部の責任者への就任を依頼。4月10日、GAEA JAPAN後楽園ホール大会を最後にGAEA JAPANが解散したことにより里村が設立を表明。里村は新潟県出身であるが新人選手時代に同期の新人選手と共に、みちのくプロレスへ修行に出たことで縁が深いため実現。7月4日、設立記者会見が行われた。
2006年7月9日、仙台サンプラザホールで旗揚げ戦を開催。同興行において、これがデビュー戦となる新人選手にダイナマイト関西、尾崎魔弓、井上京子、吉田万里子らネームバリューのあるベテラン選手と対戦させると言った思い切った対戦カードを組んで現時点では当然のごとく新人選手が負けはしたものの注目を浴びることになる。
年々衰退を続ける女子プロレスを発展させて、かつてのように「女性が憧れる女子プロレス」という世界観を戻すことを考えた。
新崎が計画して地域密着型女子プロレス団体として設立を目指して同じく東北地方を本拠地として設立。代表の新崎が宮城県仙台市の協力を取り付ける等の万端の準備の下で旗揚げするがプロレス経験者は里村のみで他の選手はスカウトもしくはオーディションで募集して里村がコーチとして1から育成することと所属選手同士の対戦は基本的に行わず「エネミー」と称するフリー、他団体の選手を招聘して「外敵を迎え撃つ」と言うコンセプトで従来のプロレス団体との差別化を図っている。

Each hot spring resort has several hotels and ryokans. And there are more than 100 open-air bathes. Some of them are the public bathes and we can use them cheaply or at no charge.
This area is one of the entrances of climbing to Mount Hotaka. So many climbers visit here. From Shin-Hotaka hot spring resort, Shin-Hotaka Ropeway is operated, and it lead to the observatory at a height of 2,150 meters. General tourists can also use it.
From Hirayu hot spring resort, a road passes through under Abou Pass to the east. After the passing, it leads to Kamikochi or Matsumoto city in Nagano Prefecture. The shuttle bus to Kamikochi is operated from Hirayu. (From late April to mid-November)
元々ヘビーメタルバンドファストウェイやKATMANDUで活躍していた、フロントであるデイブ・キング（Dave King）が、ロサンゼルスにあるアイリッシュパブMolly Malone'sにて、毎週月曜に生まれ故郷アイルランドの音楽を演奏し始めた。
1993年初代ギターリストで現プロデューサー業も行ってるTed Hutt、ベースプレーヤーにJeff Peters、フィドルに現メンバーでもあるブリジット・レーガンと知り合いセッションを行っていく。そんな当時の彼らの音楽性に惹かれて集まった人が現在のメンバー構成と固まっていく。
度々、来日公演を行っており、2006年、2010年にフジ・ロック・フェスティバルに出演している。

1920 is a 2008 Indian horror film written and directed by Vikram Bhatt. Filmed in Hindi, the plot revolves around the events surrounding a married couple living in a haunted house in the year 1920. "It" is a 1927 silent romantic comedy film that tells the story of a shop girl who sets her sights on the handsome, wealthy boss of the department store where she works. It is based on a novella by Elinor Glyn that was originally serialized in Cosmopolitan magazine.
This film turned actress Clara Bow into a major star, and led people to label her the It girl.
The film had its world premiere in Los Angeles on January 14, 1927, followed by a New York showing on February 5, 1927. "It" was released to the general public on February 19, 1927.
The picture was considered lost for many years, but a Nitrate-copy was found in Prague in the 1960s.[1] In 2001, "It" was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

Earth Crisis is an American metalcore band from Syracuse, New York, active from 1989 until 2001, reuniting in 2007. Since 1993 the band's longest serving members are vocalist Karl Buechner, guitarist Scott Crouse, bassist Ian Edwards and drummer Dennis Merrick. Their third guitarist Erick Edwards joined the band in 1998.
The band has released eight studio albums, three compilations, two live albums and six music videos. The band is known for supporting animal rights, promoting a straight edge and vegan lifestyle, and addressing further social and political issues. Earth Crisis is considered a crucial developer and influence for both the metalcore genre and vegan straight edge movement.
The band originally formed in 1989, after bassist Karl Buechner proposed the idea to his friend DJ Rose, whom he knew because both skateboarded together. Rose became the vocalist and they were joined by Jesse Buckley on drums and John Moseman on guitar. Established in the latter part of the youth crew heyday, where many groups disbanded and their members stopped being straight edge, they wanted to "keep that torch burning", as Buechner said. "The feeling of disappointment we had in those bands lead us to promote straight edge as being a lifetime commitment to never touch a drop of poison. We wanted people to know they can believe in us." Rose named the band after the 1984's album of the same name from the British reggae band Steel Pulse, because its cover portrayed many of the things they "would stand against", such as the starving African children, the two blocs of the Cold War and Klansmen.
Its initial lineup was short-lived; they had two or three practices and played a show in Utica, New York. After that performance, DJ Rose decided to quit the group to spend more time booking shows. Karl Buechner continued composing and formed a new lineup of the band in 1991, after attending a skateboard demonstration where he met members of the also vegan straight edge band Framework. He switched to lead vocals in the process and was joined by four of the five members of Framework: guitarist Scott Crouse, bassist Ian "Bulldog" Edwards, guitarist Ben Read and drummer Michael Riccardi, all who participated in EC as a side project. 1992's three song EP All Out War marked their debut release and shortly afterwards this became their first priority.
Sectarianism is a form of bigotry, discrimination, or hatred arising from attaching relations of inferiority and superiority to differences between subdivisions within a group. Common examples are denominations of a religion, ethnic identity, class, or region for citizens of a state and factions of a political movement.
The ideological underpinnings of attitudes and behaviours labelled as sectarian are extraordinarily varied. Members of a religious, national or political group may believe that their own salvation, or the success of their particular objectives, requires aggressively seeking converts from other groups; adherents of a given faction may believe that for the achievement of their own political or religious project their internal opponents must be converted or purged.
Sometimes a group that is under economic or political pressure will kill or attack members of another group which it regards as responsible for its own decline. It may also more rigidly define the definition of orthodox belief within its particular group or organization, and expel or excommunicate those who do not support this new found clarified definition of political or religious orthodoxy. In other cases, dissenters from this orthodoxy will secede from the orthodox organisation and proclaim themselves as practitioners of a reformed belief system, or holders of a perceived former orthodoxy. At other times, sectarianism may be the expression of a group's nationalistic or cultural ambitions, or exploited by demagogues.
The phrase "sectarian conflict" usually refers to violent conflict along religious or political lines such as the conflicts between Nationalists and Unionists in Northern Ireland (religious and class-divisions may play major roles as well). It may also refer to general philosophical, political disparity between different schools of thought such as that between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Non-sectarians espouse that free association and tolerance of different beliefs are the cornerstone to successful peaceful human interaction. They espouse political and religious pluralism.

1956年4月に、日本で唯一の自治体直営のオーケストラとして創立された。2009年4月からは京都市の直営を離れ、財団法人京都市音楽芸術文化振興財団の運営となった。現在の常任指揮者兼ミュージック・アドヴァイザーは広上淳一、桂冠指揮者に大友直人。
現在は京都コンサートホールで毎月1回の定期演奏会を開催している。4管編成。創立当初から自治体だった直営の利を活かして、現在でも演奏機会の少ない曲を採り上げることも多い。2003年から「こどものためのコンサート」を定期的なシリーズとして開催し、2009年からは「オーケストラ・ディスカバリー」にリニューアルした。2005年にプラハ交響楽団（FOK）と姉妹オーケストラ盟約を締結。
その他、毎年12月第1日曜日に大阪城ホールに於いて開催されてきている「サントリー1万人の第九」へも、当該興行の創始年（1983年）から2001年までの毎年と2010年・2011年に本楽団として参加している。
90年代、「京の響」というKBS京都のテレビ番組で演奏会が放送されていたことがある。
また、京都市少年合唱団などとの共演も頻繁に行われている。
これまでジャパン女子プロレスからメジャー女子プロレスAtoZまで女子プロレス団体を転々とした後にフリーで活動してきたGAMIがプロデュース。解散したばかりのJDスター女子プロレスから桜花由美が加わった。
2007年7月19日、設立記者会見が行われた。代表に元JDスター女子プロレス本部長の竹石辰也が就任。GAMIがプロデュースした「THE WOMAN」助監督であった植松寿絵がコーチに就任。8月26日、新木場1stRINGで旗揚げ戦を開催。同所は常打ちとしてのみならず練習拠点としても使用している。
当初の所属選手はGAMIと桜花のみでフリー、他団体の選手を入れて月4回から5回の興行を開催していたが旗揚げ戦こそ札止めとなったものの新木場1stRINGで観衆が100人を切る興行が続くなど観客動員で苦しんでいた。
2008年3月、我闘姑娘に最後まで残っていた春日萌花が入団してから徐々に盛り返して10月18日、田島久丸の自主興行でデビューした、あたしかよ（現：カヨ☆フジモリ）が団体預かりとして入団。
2009年1月、フリーの渋谷シュウが入団。6月、桜蝋燭がデビュー。
新人育成はあまり行わず主にフリー選手が重要な位置を占めている。他団体選手は主にJWP女子プロレス、LLPW-X、アイスリボン、OZアカデミー女子プロレスからの参戦が多い。2012年6月以降は常連フリー選手がZABUNと専属契約を結んでいる。
2013年10月30日、初の生え抜き選手の卜部夏妃（現：夏すみれ）がデビュー。10月24日、引退したGAMIがZABUN代表取締役兼WAVE大会プロデューサーに就任。代表に桜花が就任。
現在は月2、3回ペースで興行を開催している。男子選手も参加してミックスドマッチなどを組み込むこともある一方で大日本プロレスへの試合提供も行っている。またDIAMOND HALL大会等の地方興行では大日本との昼夜興行となることが多い。但し大日本の方針で大日本所属選手とのミックスドマッチは組まれていない。

The unique form of sport portrayed is fundamentally based on classical and "catch" wrestling, with modern additions of striking attacks, strength-based holds and throws and acrobatic maneuvers. Much of these derive from the influence of various international martial arts. An additional aspect of combat with improvised weaponry is sometimes included to varying degrees.
