幼少期、従兄弟より聞かされたビートルズにより、音楽に目覚める。ポール・マッカートニーを敬愛し、自らも左利きベーシストであり その演奏スタイルからポールを彷彿させるということもあり、数々のビートルズ関係のイベントに出演している。
1986年、シングル『好きさ』、アルバム『ALWAYS BE TRUE』でデビューするが、オールウェイズは2008年現在、活動休止状態にある。 1996年、杉真理、松尾清憲らとともにPiccadilly Circusを結成する。
The National Theatre is the prime stage of the Czech Republic. The Marriage of The Marriage of Figaro (Italian: Le nozze di The Marriage of Figaro, pronounced [le ˈnɔttse di ˈfiːɡaro]), K. 492, is an opera buffa (comic opera) in four acts composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto written by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It premiered at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 1 May 1786. The opera's libretto is based on a stage comedy by Pierre Beaumarchais, La folle journée, ou le Mariage de The Marriage of Figaro ("The Mad Day, or The Marriage of The Marriage of Figaro"), which was first performed in 1784. It tells how the servants The Marriage of Figaro and Susanna succeed in getting married, foiling the efforts of their philandering employer Count Almaviva to seduce Susanna and teaching him a lesson in fidelity.

プラハ国立歌劇場（チェコ語: Státní opera Praha ）は、チェコ・プラハにある歌劇場である。
1883年、プラハのドイツ系住民がドイツ語の上演を求めて結成したドイツ劇場組合（Deutsche Theaterverein）により、1888年、歴史主義建築様式の劇場、新ドイツ劇場（Neues Deutsches Theater）が創立された。
初めの芸術監督ノイマン（Angelo Neumann）の後任にツェムリンスキーが、1925年から1929年の間には、後のウィリアム・スタインバーグ、ハンス＝ヴィルヘルム・シュタインベルクが、後任としてジョージ・セル（音楽監督も兼任）もこの職に就き、それぞれがこの劇場で活躍した。歴代の楽長及び音楽監督には、グスタフ・マーラー、カール・ムック、レオ・ブレッヒ、オットー・クレンペラー、ジョージ・セルなど錚々たる顔ぶれが並ぶ。なお、建物としてではなく、当時の関係者の所属先として劇場を指す場合は、新が取れてドイツ劇場、プラハ・ドイツ劇場、または歌劇場と表記されるのが一般的である。
1938年9月25日、組合が撤退、この建物はチェコスロバキア国の所有となる。しかし1939年3月15日のドイツ軍のチェコスロバキアの占領、翌16日のヒトラーの布告によりプラハは保護領（ベーメン・メーレン保護領）となった。ドイツ・オペラハウス（Deutsches Opernhaus）と名付けられ、ナチ党の催しや国（ライヒ）の団体が客演した。
プラハ蜂起 を記念した催しで演劇団体が上演-1945年5月5日『5月5日の劇場』。1947年から48年には劇場にオペラが戻る。1948年、『5月5日の大歌劇場』と名付けられ、この劇場は国民劇場の傘下となる。1949年に『スメタナ劇場』と改名し、1992年に現在の『プラハ国立歌劇場』となった。
Girls und Panzer is a Japanese anime franchise created by Actas. It depicts a competition between girls' high schools practicing tank warfare as a sport. The series was directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, written by Reiko Yoshida and produced by Kiyoshi Sugiyama.
His reputation grew as he ventured out into other genres of music such as jazz and rock. In 2001, he made his major debut with EMI Music Japan with an eponymous album, “AGATSUMA”. It was named the Traditional Japanese Music Album of the Year at the 16th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
His second album, “BEAMS ~ AGATSUMA II” released by Domo Records in the US, led him to a successful tour of the East Coast.
In 2005, he toured the EU, and won the Japan Gold Disc Award for the second time with “EN”, his sixth album. In 2010, an extensive tour took the unit to nine different countries in Japan, Europe and Africa. He celebrated his anniversary year with “The 10th Anniversary Special Concert ~ Tradition and Innovation 〜”. In 2011, he inaugurated “- KUSABI -”, an event where internationally acclaimed Japanese artists meet.
He has been active not only as a performer but also as a producer, writing scores for TV and theater.
In search of the Tsugaru shamisen’s tradition and innovation, with his creation transcending genres, Hiromitsu Agatsuma remains to be a valued asset.
He had the privilege of representing Japan and performing at the official dinner for TOKYO 2020 and the 5th Tokyo International Conference on African Development, both hosted by Prime Minister Abe.
In 2014, he composed and performed for Ebizo Ichikawa’s Kabuki production. It was unprecedented for a Kabuki stage to have a Tsugaru shamisen. He visits elementary schools all over Japan, teaching the children how fun the Japanese traditional music could be. He also makes a great effort to pass the culture down to the next generation. Hiromitsu Agatsuma is a leader of the new generation shamisen players.
Though the signs now seem as familiar as the alphabet or the Hindu-Arabic numerals, they are not of great antiquity. The Egyptian hieroglyphic sign for addition, for example, resembled a pair of legs walking in the direction in which the text was written (Egyptian could be written either from right to left or left to right), with the reverse sign indicating subtraction:

Vampillia（ヴァンピリア）は、日本のロックバンド。自称10人＋αの「ブルータル・オーケストラ」。2005年頃関西で結成。
デス、ゲス、オペラによる3ボーカル、ツインヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ、ピアノ、ツインギター、ベース、DJ、ドラムには吉田達也、竜巻太郎、ワールズ・エンド・ガールフレンドのドラマー近田和久、元BOREDOMSのボーカル、吉川豊人も名を連ねる。2013年現在のドラマーは、RUINSの吉田達也、turtle islandの竜巻太郎である。
エンスレイヴド(Enslaved) は、1991年にノルウェーのスヴェイオで結成されたエクストリーム・メタル・バンド。
バンド名の由来は同国出身のブラックメタル・バンド「イモータル」の曲Enslaved in Rotから。現在はベルゲンに拠点を移している。
はじめ、シェルソンとビョルンソンはフォビア (Phobia)というデスメタル・バンドでプレイしていた。
1991年、エンスレイヴドを結成。「ノルウェイジャン・ブラックメタル」の原型となるようなバンドとして活動を開始したが、彼らはこのジャンルにしては珍しい作曲の仕方をしていた。それゆえ、ブラックメタル・バンドと呼ばれるよりもエクストリーム・メタル・バンドと呼ばれることを好んだ。
1997年、3rdアルバム『Eld』をリリース。このアルバムがプログレッシブな作風へと方向転換した、最初のアルバムだと考えられている。
2000年、5thアルバム『Mardraum – Beyond the Within』をリリース。プログレッシブな作風を確立する。
2001年、6thアルバム『Monumension』をリリース。このアルバムから主に英語で作詞が行われるようになる。1stアルバムを除くそれ以前のアルバムではノルウェー語で歌詞がつづられていた。
2008年、10thアルバム『Vertebrae』をリリース。このアルバムは技術面、特に和声的な面でピンク・フロイドようだと高いを評価され、母国でグラミー賞に相当する「Spellemann Award」を受賞した。
2009年5月、プログレッシブ・メタルバンド「オーペス」と北米ツアーを行う。
2011年、二枚のEPをリリース。アメリカ合衆国、カナダで「アルセスト」「ジュニアス」とともに結成20周年ツアーを行った。同年、ノルウェイ政府公認の賞である「Norwegian Artist & Songwriters Association Honorary Award」を受賞。音楽産業への貢献を記念した同賞を、メタル・バンドが受賞する初の偉業を達成。
イギリスのトップバンドのひとつで、アルバム総売上は6500万枚を超える（3500万枚は全米での売り上げ）。アルバム『炎のターゲット』と『ヒステリア』が空前の大ヒットを飛ばし、80年代を代表するロックバンドのひとつとなった。また、「VH1の最も偉大なハードロックバンド」において31位を獲得した。
1977年、タプトン・スクールの生徒であったリック・サヴェージ（ベース）、ピート・ウィリス（ギター）、トニー・ケニング（ドラム）により、バンドの母体となるアトミック・マスが結成される。偶然、バスに乗り遅れたピートがジョー・エリオットと出会い、ギタリストとして勧誘するが、最終的にはジョー・エリオットはヴォーカリストとして参加。
バンド名は、元々"Deaf Leopard"（耳の聞こえない豹）であったが、ケニングの提案で現在の綴りに変更される。1978年1月には、スティーヴ・クラークがバンドに加入する。
同年11月には3曲のコンパクト盤であるDef Leppard EPのレコーディング作業に入る。この時トニーはバンドを去り、後任としてフランク・ヌーンが加入するが、彼も脱退し、その月末には当時15歳のリック・アレンが正式なドラマーとして加入する。その後フォノグラム社と契約。

1958年2月24日、福岡県筑紫郡大野町（現在の大野城市）雑餉隈（ざっしょのくま）に生まれる。自衛官であり剣道の師範でもある父のもとで幼少期から剣道を続けており、四段の腕前を持つ（高校時代に三段を取得、60歳で四段昇格）。
大野城市立大野北小学校を卒業し大野城市立大野中学校へ進学するが、父親が転勤することになり、中学1年の8月から北海道千歳市に住む。千歳市立千歳中学校を卒業し、札幌第一高等学校へ進学。高校入学時点で身長が148cmと、少年期は非常に身長が低い子であり、本人もかなりコンプレックスに感じていたという。ところが高校時代になると急激に身長が伸びだしたという。高校2年生の時には剣道の北海道代表として全国高等学校総合体育大会（インターハイ）個人戦に出場した。
その直後、父親の転勤願いにより福岡へ帰郷し福岡第一高等学校に編入。同じ学校には柴田秀之（Chage）も在学していた。福岡でも剣道部に入るが、部活の顧問との折り合いが悪くなって高校3年の春で退部してしまった（剣道自体は道場に通うなど続けている）。退部後は時間的余裕が出来て音楽にのめり込んでいく。このことが音楽の道へ進むきっかけになったと自著で述べている。

『BLAME!』（ブラム!）は、月刊アフタヌーン（講談社）にて連載された、弐瓶勉によるSFアクション漫画作品。全10巻。話数カウントは「LOG-○」または「LOG.○」。
弐瓶勉による初の長編連載作品であり、『月刊アフタヌーン』1995年10月号に掲載された短編作品『BLAME』（ブラム、「!」が付いていない。）を元に、同誌1997年3月号から2003年9月号まで連載された
弐瓶いわく、一番こだわったものは建物であり、全体像がわからないほどの巨大建築物を中心に据え、誰が見ても初めての作品を作ろうとしたという。スケール感を出すために人物を小さく描き、ある意味、『BLAME!』の主人公は建物かもしれないと述べている。また、情報は最小限にとどめ、後は読者に想像してもらう方がリアルだとしている。当作品の話は、大きな世界の片隅で起こった小さなエピソードであり、あの世界では日常的に起こっている事件の一つだという。

愛媛県西条市出身。身長175cm。血液型はA型。父は声楽家の秋川暢宏。
4歳よりヴァイオリン、ピアノを習い始める。西条市立西条南中学校3年生の時に父の指導のもと声楽に転向。愛媛県立小松高等学校を経て国立音楽大学卒業、同大学院修了。その後4年間、イタリアのパルマにて修行。帰国後、ベートーヴェン作曲の交響曲第9番（合唱付き）のソロなど、数々のコンサートに出演。1998年にカンツォーネコンクール第1位、日本クラシック音楽コンクール声楽部門最高位をそれぞれ受賞した。
2001年に日本コロムビアよりテノール歌手としてCDデビュー。
2006年12月31日、カバー曲「千の風になって」 にて「紅白」(NHK) 初出場を果たす。
紅白歌合戦出場後、「千の風になって」が2007年1月15日付のオリコンシングルチャート第4位にランクイン。テノール歌手として史上初のトップ5ランクインを果たし、1月22日付のオリコンチャートにて1位となる。この曲の大ヒットが評価されて、「ベストヒット歌謡祭2007」では「40周年記念特別賞」を受賞した。
2008年3月、日本テレビの開局55周年スペシャルドラマ『東京大空襲』の主題歌を担当。X JAPANのYOSHIKIが書き下ろした曲『愛する人よ』を歌った。
コンサートはピアノ伴奏のみによる形式と、前半をピアノ伴奏、後半をバンド（ピアノ・バイオリン・ギター・ベース）をバックに行う形式をとる。
仙台市立八軒中学校が復興を祈願するために演奏した「あすという日が」を、秋川雅史と夏川りみがそれぞれ2011年9月21日にCDを同時発売した。
