REM sleep is revealed by continuous movements of the eyes during sleep.
A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, although they have been a topic of scientific, philosophical and religious interest throughout recorded history.

Dreams mainly occur in the rapid-eye movement (REM) stage of sleep—when brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. However, these dreams tend to be much less vivid or memorable. At times, dreams may occur during other stages of sleep.

Dream interpretation is the attempt at drawing meaning from dreams and searching for an underlying message.

Traditionally, a Noh program includes five Noh plays with comedic kyōgen plays in between; an abbreviated program of two Noh plays and one kyōgen piece has become common in Noh presentations today. Developed by Kan'ami and his son Zeami, it is the oldest major theatre art that is still regularly performed today. Noh ( Nō), derived from the Sino-Japanese word for "skill" or "talent", is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century.
