Ryutopia Japan's first theater-dedicated dance troupe based in Niigata City Arts Center. Noism (Noiseumu) was founded in the spring of 2004, dedicated to theaters. Leader is Kanamori Yuji who also concurrently serves as artistic director of the dance division of the Niigata Civic Art and Cultural Center (Ryuto Pia). Previously it was named Noism 04 with the name of the year in which it is active, but in September 2009 the main company was renamed Noism 1 with the establishment of the trainee company Noism 2. For over 15 years since its establishment, the dancers selected by the audition moved to Niigata not only from Japan, but also from abroad and are active throughout the year.

Noism has two groups, Profision Company Noism 1 (Noise Muan), Trainee Company Noism 2 (Noise Mu 2), Noism 1 globally works from Niigata to the world. They perform works created by Ryu Pia at home and abroad. Noism 2 belongs to a young dancer who is aiming for professionals, in addition to performances in theaters, they continue activities rooted in Niigata, such as events to be held in Niigata City and performances to schools.

Akira Sakata and Rie Nakajima

Rie Nakajima is a Japanese artist working with installations and performances that produce sound. Her works are most often composed in direct response to unique architectural spaces using a combination of kinetic devices and found objects. She has exhibited and performed widely both in the UK and overseas and has produced ‘Sculpture’ with David Toop since 2013. With Keiko Yamamoto she has a music project 'O YAMA O' which explores music with no genre. She also has a collaborative project ‘Dead Plants/Living Objects’ with Pierre Berthet. She has recently had her first major solo exhibition at IKON Gallery in Birmingham.

Akira Sakata (坂田明; born 21 February 1945) is a Japanese free jazz saxophonist.
Sakata was born in Kure, Hiroshima. He began studying music seriously at high school, where he played clarinet. He played alto sax in a jazz band when at Hiroshima University. He trained as a marine biologist.
Sakata joined the Yamashita Yosuke Trio from 1972 till 1979 and toured internationally with them. In 1986, he performed with Last Exit with Bill Laswell. This performance was released as 1987's Noise of Trouble: Last Exit Live in Tokyo. Laswell went on to play bass on and produce Sakata albums such as Mooko, Silent Plankton and Fisherman's.com, the last of which also featured the reclusive Pete Cosey (who had worked with Miles Davis) on guitar.

In 1994, Sakata organized a one-month tour of Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China with the Flying Mijinko Band, consisting of 14 members from Japan, Africa and America. Some of those included were Laswell, Anton Fier and Foday Musa Suso.

He has more recently worked with DJ Krush[3] and Chikamorachi (Darin Gray and Chris Corsano).
"His deep commitment to the music is always evident in his playing, as is his humor. In concert, he will occasionally put down his saxophone and simply make vocal sounds into the microphone, the effect of which is often both humorous and musical."

BLACK IRIS 1st One Man Live

GRiT is a trio group dance vocal group with an attractive gap between intense cool dance and sweet and singing voice. On February 1, 2017, he announced his formation as a nova of the male artist scene based on the group, and has repeatedly conducted steady activities such as live street performances and van events. On this day, we played a performance that will be a culmination of the first anniversary of the formation, with content that can be enjoyed plentifully, including cover songs from their original songs and solo performances.

BLACK IRIS is a dance vocal group with five people: Shota Kawasaki from Saitama, Takuya Sugimoto from Kumamoto, Rio Hayano from Fukuoka, Go Handa from Fukuoka, Hiroki Saito from Aomori. They are active mainly in Tokyo's live housey in Harajuku. It was formed in March, 2018. Their free style which is addicted many high school teen girls in their twenties.
