K ONEMANLIVE URGE OF K BIRTHDAY
In May 2012, Born celebrated its 4th anniversary and made a breakthrough in the coming year. They spent live every weekend for four weeks. Each concert was held under a certain theme, based on the band's records, however, the last one (on May 27th) was dedicated to the birthday of guitarist K. Therefore, the excitement among band members and fans increased significantly, especially since the musicians were busy talking behind the scenes, and because it was his birthday, K. read all the questions that need to be focused. The fans laughed at the light talk and relaxed atmosphere, however, when the curtain opened and began to play the SE , they could not help it.
The shouts of the group members along with the shouts of the fans filled the entire hall from the very first moment of "DEMONS", the temperature in the hall began to boil. One song followed another, the audience was jumping to the beat of the music. During the song "乱 刺 ℃ / Ranshido", the fans lifted their towels, and during "RADICAL HYSTERIA" everyone shook their heads. The TOMO dance bats combined with the powerful KIFUMI bass lines and K guitar parts presented impressive solos in the center of the stage. And only for "Spiral Lie" the tempo went down and the emotionally deep sound emphasized the ryoga's pleading voice and soft blue light. "ProudiA" and "春 煌 花 -SAKURA-" kept the desired pace before the melody subsided and the hall filled with applause. However, BORN are known for their aggressive sets, and they returned to them when they played "DAMMED" again by choking the temperature in the hall.
“Thank you for the large audience today,” Ryoga said. This is the last day (within four weeks) of performances on Takadanobaba AREA and previous live shows on the topics of our albums. However, we didn’t know at all that we’ll make a lively birthday dedicated to K. So, he made a set-list, and today you’re presented with the original "BEST of BORN by K" set list. K was very touched by the letter, however, it was not yet time for the sentiments, therefore BORN performed two more songs: "Grave Dancer Punish" and "shrive" made the audience light up again. So this show ended, leaving the fans waiting for what BORN will give them on next year, for their fifth birthday.

In 2009, the contract between the band belonging to PS COMPANY and King Records seems to have expired. Kagrra's new album from 2010 became an indie release with the distribution of Crown Tokuma Music Sales. After that, it was decided that the GazettE will be released from Sony Music Records and Alice Nine from Tokuma Japan Communications .
In 2011, SuG, who had been affiliated , announced that the activity was suspended and left the office.

「日本一オメでたくて汗だくで騒げる」という“オメでたいコア”略して「オメコア」を武器に活動するバンドである。ファンのことは「オメっ子」と呼び、都内ライブハウスを中心に活動している。
以前よりこのメンバー5名で「赤飯バンド」として活動していたが、2016年8月29日の「幸暴分裂ツアーファイナル@新宿ReNY」でバンド名を発表。 2016年8月14日にコミックマーケット90では1st EP「オメでたい頭でなによりです！」を発売していた。
結成3ヶ月にして骸骨祭りへの出演をかけたオーディションROADto骸骨祭りにて優勝し、骸骨祭り2016in幕張メッセに出演した。
2018年春にポニーキャニオンからメジャーデビュー。
FABLED NUMBER is a musical band formed in Osaka with six members. They are heavily influenced by Western emo, pop and EDM. While their danceable rock sound is usually much softer and more straightforward than that of groups like Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas and THREE LIGHTS DOWN KINGS, their songs take on a harder edge from time to time, and vocalist N'Eita is not afraid to scream to get his point across.
In May 2012, Mako-Albert, Ikki-Rodriguez, who had been active in different bands respectively, joined the band who was active by four people, N'Taichi, N'Eita, Chiipucchi, Mr.Donuld Betch. Then it becomes FABLED NUMBER. N’Taichi(Bass/Cho) and N’Eita(Gt/Vo) are brothers.
At the same period, they released self-produced CD "Fisherman's Profit" available only at their live event.
They have been distinguished themselves since the release of "Might makes right" which was sold nationwide in 2013, and they performed at RADIO CRAZY 2013. In 2014, FABLED NUMBER released 2nd「The DIE is cast」and performed at big music festivals a lot.
In 2015, FABLED NUMBER worked as support acts at solo event of Gerard Way who is the vocal of My Chemical Romance in Japan. From August the same year, they self-planned live events which held for 6 months in a row, and all tickets were sold out. They performed at big music festivals like Inazuma Rock Festival and MERRY ROCK PARADE in 2015.
FABLED NUMBER made their major debut on February 2017 from Nippon Crown Co., Ltd.
Virgin is the state of a person who has never engaged in sexual intercourse. There are cultural and religious traditions that place special value and significance on this state, predominantly towards unmarried females, associated with notions of personal purity, honor and worth.
Like chastity, the concept of virginity has traditionally involved sexual abstinence. The concept of virginity usually involves moral or religious issues and can have consequences in terms of social status and in interpersonal relationships. Although virginity has social implications and had significant legal implications in some societies in the past, it has no legal consequences in most societies today.
The term virgin originally only referred to sexually inexperienced women, but has evolved to encompass a range of definitions, as found in traditional, modern and ethical concepts. Heterosexual individuals may or may not consider loss of virginity to occur only through penile-vaginal penetration, while people of other sexual orientations often include oral sex, anal sex or mutual masturbation in their definitions of losing one's virginity. The social implications of virginity still remain in many societies and can have varying effects on an individual's social agency based upon location.

In this case, more-mature women can be virgins (The Virgin Queen), men can be virgins, and potential initiates into many fields can be colloquially termed virgins; for example, a skydiving "virgin". In the latter usage, virgin means uninitiated.
The Latin word likely arose by analogy with a suit of lexemes based on vireo, meaning "to be green, fresh or flourishing", mostly with botanic reference—in particular, virga meaning "strip of wood".
ツインボーカル形式の男性5人組バンド。2003年1月、インディーズで海援隊の「贈る言葉」のカバーをリリースし、30万枚以上を売り上げるヒットを記録。同年7月、シングル「ブラスター」でKi/oon Recordsよりメジャーデビュー。
2004年、テレビアニメ『NARUTO -ナルト-』主題歌に選ばれ、その後も話題作品『交響詩篇エウレカセブン』・『コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ』・『NARUTO -ナルト-』シリーズ等に数多く起用されており、それをきっかけに国内で開催されるロックフェス以外に、海外開催のアニメフェスやライヴにも多数出演している。
2010年6月にリリースされたアルバム『MICROCOSM』が欧米を中心に世界44ヶ国でも発売され、世界進出を果たす。以降、18ヶ国51公演ものLIVEを行う。(2018年7月現在)
バンドのリーダーは、2007年7月まではTAKEであったが、現在は毎年変動性でメンバーそれぞれがリーダーを務めている（占い芸人・ゲッターズ飯田の占いで決定）。

Damn Drive is a young rock band with an average age of 20 from Chiba prefecture. They continue to grow with muddy live performances.

November 2015 the band achieved the top position in the music distribution app Eggs campaign. As a secondary prize, they had CD release, MV shooting rights, live appearance rights at Shibuya WWW, artist photography rights.

Hakubi is a three-piece band of mixed gender formed in Kansai in May 2017. It was formed in Kyoto mainly by Katagiri (Vo / Gt) who had attracted attention even in the play talk scene. As of 2018, the band's first MV "Dream Continuation" has been played more than 1.3 million times. In the fall of 2018, they held the FRONT LINE TOUR with Maki and Nagoya's Maki and Mie's moon drop and three bands.
Then, on April 3, 2019, " Kosuke " was released from KYOTO MUSE's new label " NEW KIDS ON THE RECORDS " . They made a national debut to be happy. By the way, the origin of the band name is Hakubi. The meaning is "people or things that are better than others in the same kind.
Some parts are powerful, some are a boy-like feeling of innocence, and their voices that show various expressions. Because there was a fever in the singing voice, it stabbed anyway, and the persuasive power of the lyrics was further increased. The song was also one of the instruments, and the rhythm team and the simple chords also had the impression that they played a role in making the most of Katika's singing voice.

The band's original lineup consisted of Mari Kono on lead guitar and vocals, Yayoi Tsushima on bass, and Mizue Masuda on drums. They originally formed the band while in college in Chiba, Japan. In January 2017, Mizue announced she was leaving the band to pursue other projects. The band now performs with their new drummer, Maiko Takagi.
Tsushimamire is a neologism coined by the band, not a real Japanese word. It is a combination of Tsushima (the family name of bassist Yayoi) with "Ma" (from guitarist/vocalist Mari Kono) and "Mi" (from original drummer Mizue Masuda). In addition, mamire means "mixed up" in Japanese: thus the effect is that of "Tsushima (Yayoi), Mari and Mizue all mixed together."
Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re's musical style can be broadly classified as punk rock, with eclectic influences of noise and Japanese pop music. Several of their songs begin with strong bass lines by Yayoi, but Mari's guitar and Mizue's drums finally make equal contributions. Several songs combine sweet female vocal harmonies with hard drum playing and punk guitar riffs, for a deliberately ironic effect, for example in their signature tune, "Tea Time Ska". The lyrics are consistently quirky and idiosyncratic, with the most common themes being sex, food, and death, and sometimes all three at once. Underneath sweet vocal harmonies, the lyrics frequently hint at far darker, scarier themes.
Food is a noticeable subject in their lyrics. In the rap-rock title song from "no-miso shortcake (brain shortcake)", lead singer Mari invites the listener to eat her brain. In "Kamaboco (Fish Cakes)", all three girls play the roles of food ingredients in Japanese hotpot, with fish cakes (Mari) feeling rejected and lonely because she is never added to hotpot. In their very first single, "American Hamburger", an upbeat pop song, the singer describes herself as fat and food-loving but beautiful; the first line is, "I'm a pig so I eat pork."
Some of their most powerful songs address death and its inevitability. In "Na-mellow (Nameru)", the singer plays the role of the young daughter of a fisherman, who gradually realizes her father will never return from a fishing voyage. In "Manhole", the singer speculates about where manholes in the street might lead to, perhaps to the land of the dead.
Another common theme is sex, which is frequently juxtaposed against the squeaky-clean stereotype of the innocent-looking Japanese girl. In the title song from Pregnant Fantasy, the unborn baby of a pregnant teenager asks why her mother will bear her when she is not wanted. In "World Peace & BOU", the singer appears to be speculating that world peace can be brought about by a cartoon penis.
"Tea Time Ska", the song which often closes their live shows, features a unique mix of punk-rock screaming and sweet harmonies. It describes an innocent young girl who invites her first boyfriend home for tea. However, her father, "who loves me too much", becomes jealous of the boyfriend because his daughter has never made tea for him.
In interviews, the band members have stated that their original inspiration was to be a female version of the Japanese band Blankey Jet City, whose rock music is very fast, energetic, and full of rapid changes. They also consider Rage Against the Machine to be an influence. Yayoi has also expressed a fondness for Western classical music.
In 2007 they were voted "Best All-Girl Group" in Shojo Beat magazine's Reader's Poll, with 73.4% of the vote.
BRATS（ブラッツ）は、2011年に結成された日本のロックバンドである。レコード会社はFABTONE RECORDS。
2011年8月、いもうとシスターズ所属のジュニアアイドルであった黒宮れい、黒宮あや、後藤聖良、まりあの4名が自らの意思でロックバンドを結成する。結成時点でのメンバーの平均年齢は12歳であった。
当初はいもうとシスターズ内でのバンド活動挑戦企画という位置付けであったが、後に正式にバンド名が決まり、ライブ活動を開始する。なお「Brats」とは、英語で"(手に負えない)子供""ガキ"を意味する。
各メディアにおいて"ガールズバンド"として紹介される事が多いが、2017年時点でメンバー達は「（BRATSを）ガールズバンドという言葉で括られたくない」と主張している。
1984年1月結成。1990年日本コロムビアよりメジャーデビュー。1996年からはインディーズで活動。2014年に結成30周年を迎えた。
かつては事務所には所属せずにバンド自体を法人化していたが、現在は自分達で立ち上げた事務所「NRオフィス」に所属している。

Vexent was formed at 真虎 (mako) birthday presents live at Ikebukuro CYBER on June 9th, 2015. Their first live was held at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 on July 14th and their one-man live "Birth of the OMEGA" was at Shinjuku RUIDO K4 on January 9th, 2016.
They disbanded in May 24th 2019.

2016年6月にVo.gt スダタクシ、Gt.vo KEiTARO、Ba.vo Shintaro、Dr 木谷 秀久によりThe KeyStoneを結成。
2016年7月から東京を拠点に活動を開始し、結成当初からTHE COLTSやTHE→CHINA WIFE MOTORSとのカップリングツアーなど遂行し、以後、自主企画「BRATS BEAT」や水曜日限定企画の「Wednesday Jack」の開催、デモ音源、ライブDVDのリリースや全国ツアーなど、精力的に活動をする。
福岡県久留米市出身のKEiTAROと木谷が受け継ぐメンタイロックのDNAが基礎となり、70's、80's〜Punk Rock、UK Rock、Rock'n'roll等の要素に、ストレートでメロディックな楽曲と広がるサウンドに、タクシがメロディアスでダイナミックな歌声を放つビートパンク、ビートロック、ロックンロール！！

Rock is a popular music genre derived from the short phrase "rock and roll" in the 1950s in the United States, then developed into many different subcategories from the 60's. the 20th century and beyond, especially in the United Kingdom and the United States. Rock originated from rock and roll of the 1940s and 1950s, strongly influenced by R&B and country music . On the contrary, rock also has a strong influence on many types of music, such as blues and folk , along with interactions with jazz , classical music , and other genres.
Rock is often focused on using electric guitars , and often along with bass guitar and drums. In particular, rock compositions often use the 4/4 rhythm with the popular "development - chorus" structure (verse - chorus), but the subcategories are extremely diverse and the common characteristics to define becomes very difficult to identify. Like pop , the lyrics often talk about sad love stories, but sometimes also mention other topics such as social and political issues. The dominance of white male artists has become a decisive factor in the development and discovery of rock music. Compared to pop music, rock also outlines the importance of music collaborations, live performances, and "authentic" ideas.
In the late 60s - also known as "golden years" or "classic rock era" - many of the rock subcategories appeared, including blues rock , folk rock , country rock , and jazz-rock mixed . Many of them contributed to psychedelic rock that was greatly influenced by the anti-cultural movement at the time. Another important genre that appears is progressive rock ; Rock glam emphasizes on performance art and style; and the important and long-standing subcategories of heavy metal are high in volume, intensity and speed. In the late 1970s,Punk rock became popular and became the focal point against trends to create the first genre characterized by social as well as political themes. Punk culture influenced throughout the 80s with the creation of many important subcategories, including New Wave , post-punk and especially the alternative rock wave . By the 1990s, alternative rock became popular and split into grunge , Britpop , and indie rock . The music mixes together, creating then pop punk , rap rock , and rap metal, along with new genres that are extremely important to rock history like garage rock / post-punk and synthpop in the early years of the new millennium.
Rock music has also become a part of social and cultural movements, creating new concepts such as rocker or mod in England, or hippie originating from San Francisco in the US in the 1960s. Similarly, in years 70, punk culture has created concepts like goth and emo . Inheriting the resistance from folk music , rock quickly became associated with political issues, especially issues related to changing social views on race, gender, and use of substances. likes, and is often considered the lyrics of youth against consumer society and enjoyment.
ザ・キャプテンズ（英称：THE CAPTAINS）は、2001年（平成13年）に仙台で結成されたグループ・サウンズのバンド。自称「最後のグループサウンズ」。

Group Sounds, often abbreviated as G.S. or G-Sound, is a genre of Japanese rock music which became popular in the mid to late 1960s and initiated the fusion of Japanese kayōkyoku music and Western rock music. Their music production techniques were regarded as playing a pioneering role in modern Japanese popular music.
Fōku (folk) and new music became famous in Japan in the 1970s, but new rock bands survived as new rock in Japanese underground music. The origin of modern Japanese rock music was usually regarded as new rock. Videos of New Rock bands' concerts were very rare.

ヴィレッジ・シンガーズ（Village Singers）は、1960年代後半（昭和40年代前半）に活躍したグループ・サウンズである。
ミッキー吉野（ミッキー よしの、1951年12月13日 - ）は、日本の音楽家。ロックバンド『ゴダイゴ』のピアノ、オルガン、キーボードプレイヤーである。バークリー音楽大学卒業。元ゴールデン・カップスのメンバー。
ゴダイゴのリーダーで、作曲と、ほとんどの曲の編曲を担当する。本名は吉野 光義（よしの みつよし）。
加橋 かつみ（かはし かつみ、1948年2月4日 - ）は、日本のミュージシャン、音楽プロデューサーであり、ザ・タイガースの元メンバー。本名、高橋 克己（たかはし かつみ）。ザ・タイガース在籍時の愛称はトッポ（由来はトッポ・ジージョに似ていたから。渡辺プロダクションによる命名。）。大阪府堺市生まれで京都府育ち。
小学（堺市立大仙小学校）・中学（堺市立旭中学校）時代は、教会の聖歌隊に入り讃美歌を歌っていた。大阪工業大学高等学校（現：常翔学園高等学校）に進学。その後、京都府立山城高等学校に転校。1965年、バンド仲間達と「サリーとプレイボーイズ」を結成。 1966年、「サンダース」のボーカリスト沢田研二を迎え「ファニーズ」と改名、大阪のジャズ喫茶「ナンバ一番」の専属バンドとなる。同年11月、渡辺プロダクションのオーディションに合格し上京。
ザ・タイガースのリードギター、ボーカル担当。澄んだ伸びのある高音の歌声が評価され、シングル「花の首飾り」、「廃虚の鳩」やアルバムでリードボーカルを務めた。ギタリストとしての実力もあり、当時GSの頂点を極めたザ・タイガースの中に於いて、沢田研二と双璧をなす存在であった。またグラフィックデザイナーを志していたこともあり、グループの衣装をデザインするなど、バンドとして欠くことが出来ない存在だった。1982年のタイガース同窓会でのヒット曲「色つきの女でいてくれよ」でもリードボーカルを務めている。
ビートルズを原点とした音楽志向とアイドル性を併せ持ち、GSの象徴的存在といわれた。繊細で芸術家肌、その感受性の強さゆえに誤解を受けやすい言動もあり、「ザ・タイガースのブライアン・ジョーンズ」と評するマスコミもあった。特に当時、時計の針の如く仕事に対し忠実な姿勢であった沢田研二とは、相入れないことが多く、度重なる意見の相違が不仲との報道へ繋がっていった。
今井 久
植田 芳暁（うえだ よしあき、本名・大串 安広、1948年2月7日 - ）とは、神奈川県横浜市生まれ、川崎市育ちのミュージシャン、ドラマー、ギタリスト、コーラスアレンジャー、そして、バンドグループ「加瀬邦彦とザ・ワイルドワンズ」のメンバーである。 愛称は「ワタリ」（GSブーム時）、「がしあき」。
デビュー前、アメリカンスクールに通うシー・ユー・チェンらとThe Dimensionsを結成し、勝ち抜きエレキ合戦の第一回チャンピオンとなる。
浪人中、ドラマーのアルバイトをしていた際に加瀬邦彦と知り合い、「ザ・ワイルドワンズ」のドラムス兼ボーカルとしてメンバーに加入、1966年にデビューを果たす。ヴォーカルをとりながらドラムスを叩くスタイルは、グループ・サウンズでは斬新で、高い評価と人気を得た。
1971年のワイルドワンズ解散後は、「谷啓とザ・スーパーマーケット」のメンバー（他には近田春夫、山崎イサオ、コッペ等がいた）として活躍し、他にも数々のバンドを結成する。また、音楽活動にこだわらず、持ち前の明るさでレポーターやタレントとして活躍。ギターもマスターし、若者ばりに低い位置で弾くスタイルを後に再結成したワイルドワンズのステージでも披露している。
ワイルドワンズでの活動の他、「ZOO」、「サーフライダース」、「植田芳暁&VOICE」などを経て、「植田芳暁&レイアウト」を結成する。1988年には、タイガース･メモリアル･クラブ･バンドに約2年在籍した。 1994年にはソロ活動の一環として「加山雄三&ハイパーランチャーズ」のドラマーとしても参加。 現在は、「僕はタレントではなくミュージシャン」というこだわりを強く持ち、日本中のライブハウスやディナーショーで活動中。
ジャッキー吉川（ジャッキー よしかわ、1938年8月1日 - ）は、ジャッキー吉川とブルー・コメッツのメンバーでドラムを担当。東京都出身。
本名は板岡公一（いたおか こういち）。ジャッキーの由来はジャッキのように力強い腕から来ている。
小中学校時代を八王子市で過ごした。その後、法政大学第一中・高等学校（現：法政大学中学高等学校）を経て、法政大学経済学部に入学。高校時代、ジーン・クルーパへの憧れから独学でドラムを始める。最初は歌手希望であったが、高校2年の時、法政の先輩でブルー・コメッツのリーダーだった大橋道二（後に大橋プロを設立）の紹介で同バンドのバンドボーイとなった。
高校3年の時に母が癌で亡くなり（父も7年後に亡くなる）、間もなくそれまでのアルバイトから本業としてバンドボーイ兼ドラマー扱いでメンバーの一員となるが程無くして一時的にバンドを離れ、新宿のキャバレー専属バンドへ参加、しかし相変わらずの貧乏生活に加え、バンドの女性歌手からドラミングを酷評されたことをきっかけにブルー・コメッツへ戻り、再びバンドボーイをこなしながらドラムの演奏技術を磨き続けた。三年後、ブルー・コメッツの正式メンバーとなる。1966年5月から1968年2月までバンドリーダーとなり、ジャッキー吉川とブルー・コメッツの中心的存在となる。
奏法は当時としては非常にドラマチックで激しいものであった。また、かつては水泳選手として全国大会で入賞したほどの実力を持っていることも知られる。
2010年に酒の飲み過ぎで転倒した際に後頭部を強打して脳出血を起こすが、手術、リハビリを経て復帰している。
鳥塚 しげき（とりづか しげき、本名、鳥塚繁樹、1947年3月23日 - ）は、東京都生まれのミュージシャン。
立教大学時代はアマチュアのカントリーウェスタンバンドで活躍。ザ・ワイルドワンズに参加しプロデビュー。ワイルドワンズは加瀬邦彦がザ・スパイダース、寺内タケシとブルージーンズなどのバンドを経たのちに平凡パンチに募集を載せ、鳥塚らのメンバーを集め結成された。ザ・ワイルド・ワンズというグループ名の由来は、星占いにより、『野生児』という意味を込め命名されたものである。
1966年11月に『想い出の渚』で東芝音楽工業（現：EMIミュージック・ジャパン）からデビューを果たす。同曲はデビュー・ヒットとなった。その後も青空のある限り、愛するアニタと佳曲を発表した。グループは71年に解散。解散後も岡崎友紀主演のドラマやライブ活動で活躍。1980年には夫人の出産経験を活かしたラマーズ法のカセットテープを発売してヒットした。現在は夫人の鳥塚のりこの手話ミュージックコンサートのプロデュース等、福祉活動にも積極的。ヴィレッジ・シンガーズのギタリストでもあり、ビーイングのプロデューサーでもある小松久と結成したカントリーウェスタンバンド「鳥塚しげきとホットケーキ」も順調に活動。ヤマハのバンドコンクールのMCでも有名。また、東急東横線・田園調布駅近くの、子供中心の鳥塚しげき音楽教室も好評。
NHK教育テレビで放送されていた「ワンツー・どん」に歌のお兄さんとして出演。挿入歌の作詞作曲も手掛けシングルとして発売。子供向けとして制作されたものではあるが、いずれの曲も鳥塚のカントリーウェスタン志向が反映されたものとなっている。特に1978年に発表した「虫虫虫めがねの歌」は子供たちを中心に人気を集めた。
テスラは泣かない。は、2008年に鹿児島県で結成された日本のロックバンド。所属レコード会社はmini muff records。 結成時、バンド名には「。」はついておらず、「テスラは泣かない」であったが、ピアノの飯野が加入し現メンバーになった際に、“もうメンバーチェンジはしない”という意味を込めて現在の「テスラは泣かない。」となった。
2011年にデビュー。2012年、SUMMER SONICに「出れんの!?サマソニ!?」枠で出場。
2014年3月5日、自主レーベルの RECO RECORDS から、自主制作盤「憂鬱も愛して」を発売。2015年4月29日、1st EP「君のバンド」をリリース。これが初の全国流通盤だった。
2015年8月26日、テレビ東京『廃墟の休日』のエンディングテーマ「シュシュ」を配信。同年12月16日、2枚目のEP「女子、ジョーキョー。」をリリースする。
2016年9月21日、3枚目のEP「ジエイポップ」をリリース。
2017年3月29日、楽曲「たばこ」を配信。同年8月9日に日本クラウンから1stアルバム「コレカラー」を発売し、メジャーデビューを果たした。
10月13日、ふっかちゃん（ギター）、しんじょう君（ベース）、さのまる（ドラムス）、うなりくん（キーボード）と共に、ゆるキャラバンド「コレちゃんズ」を結成。
2019年1月10日、ROLLY（ギター）、ウエノコウジ（ベース）、加藤茶（ドラムス）と共に、「sagami original」シリーズの誕生20周年記念プロジェクト「originals」を結成。
After meeting at "Rock Commune," Ritsumeikan University's music club, Shigeru Kishida, Masashi Satō, and Nobuyuki Mori formed the original three-piece band. The name "Quruli," an onomatopoeic word expressing rotation, was taken from a sign in the Kyoto Municipal Subway. In October 1998, Quruli released the single 東京 ("Tokyo") on Victor Entertainment. They released their first major label album, さよならストレンジャー ("Goodbye Stranger") in 1999.
Quruli released the albums 図鑑 ("Picture Book") in 2000, produced by Jim O'Rourke, and Team Rock in 2001. During the production of 2001 film The World is Mine, Quruli added guitarist Tasshin Ōmura to its lineup. In 2002, Mori left the band.
In 2003, after a trip to England, Quruli returned with a single, How to Go, and created the soundtrack for ジョゼと虎と魚たち ("Josee, the Tiger and the Fish"). After working with a number of session drummers, Quruli officially added drummer Christopher McGuire to their lineup in November 2003. In 2003, HMV Records Japan rated Quruli No. 74 in their "Top 100 Japanese pops Artists".
In 2004 Quruli released the album アンテナ ("Antenna"). After the tour for the album was completed, Christopher McGuire left the group. 2005 saw the release of several Quruli singles along with a new album, Nikki, released in December of that year. At the last day of 2006, Tasshin Ōmura left the band. In 2007 Quruli released a new album, ワルツを踊れ Tanz Walzer ("Dancing the Waltz"), recorded in Vienna with the Ambassade Orchester Wien. They joined forces again in 2008 to put out the live album Philharmonic or die.
Quruli first appeared on television performing 青い空 ("Blue Sky") on NHK. On September 9, 2005, Quruli appeared on the popular "Music Station" program and performed their song, 赤い電車 ("Red Train"). The song was also featured as the theme song to a Keikyu commercial.
On May 26, 2010, Quruli released the B-side compilation 僕の住んでいた街 ("The Town I Used to Live"), which also included their new song 東京レレレのレ ("Tokyo Le-Le-Le No Le"). The album reached No. 1 on the Oricon weekly album charts, becoming their first No. 1 album on the charts.
On September 8, 2010, Quruli released their album 言葉にならない、笑顔を見せてくれよ ("Show Me Your Indescribable Smile, Please"), including the singles シャツを洗えば ("When I Wash My Shirts") (with Matsutoya Yumi) and 魔法のじゅうたん ("Magical Carpet"). Their songs continued to be used in TIOVITA drink commercials, starting with Jubilee, followed by 太陽のブルース ("The Blues of the Sun"), シャツを洗えば ("When I Wash My Shirts"), 魔法のじゅうたん ("Magical Carpet"), until loveless in 2014. In 2014, those songs were compiled into くるりとチオビタ ("Quruli with TIOVITA").
Quruli released the 10th album 坩堝の電圧 ("Voltage of Melting Pot") in 2012, the 11th album THE PIER in 2014, and the 12th album ソングライン ("Songline") in 2018.
くるり（Quruli）は、日本のロックバンド。京都府出身。
アルバムごとに異なった音楽性と趣向があるため、多くの作品を手がけてきたことが挙げられる。
立命館大学の音楽サークル「ロックコミューン」に所属していた岸田、佐藤、森の３人で結成。1998年にシングル「東京」をリリースしメジャーデビュー。
1999年に、フォーキーかつプログレッシブなサウンドプロダクションが特徴的な1stアルバム『さよならストレンジャー』をリリース。
2000年にプロデューサーにジム・オルークを迎え、オルタナ・サウンドが顕著な2nd『図鑑』、2001年にテクノ・ダンスミュージックから影響を受けた3rd『TEAM ROCK』、2002年にエレクトロニカに接近したサイケデリックな4th『THE WORLD IS MINE』を発表。
2004年には一転バンドサウンドに回帰しつつ、新たにジャズの要素を取り入れた5th『アンテナ』、2005年にザ・フーやビートルズに代表される60年代ブリティッシュ・ロック・サウンドにアプローチした6th『NIKKI』、2007年はオーケストラとの融合を図りクラシックに傾斜した7th『ワルツを踊れ Tanz Walzer』をリリース。
2009年は、フロントマン・岸田繁のシンガーソングライター・アルバムとしての色彩が色濃い内省的な8th『魂のゆくえ』、2010年にアルバム・タイトルが示すようなメッセージ性の強い9th『言葉にならない、笑顔を見せてくれよ』、2012年は大幅なメンバーチェンジを敢行し制作した10th『坩堝の電圧』、2014年には多国籍なサウンド・アプローチを試みた11th『THE PIER』をリリース。
バンド結成20周年にあたる2016年、オールタイムベストアルバム『くるりの20回転』を発表。
2018年9月には前作『THE PIER』から4年ぶりのアルバム『ソングライン』がリリースされた。
2005年初頭、「神の啓示を受けた団長が使徒を招集しうっかり結成」という設定で、団長とアキを中心に結成。ライヴを「布教」、ファンを「信者」、曲を「教え」、差し入れを「お供え物」と呼ぶなど『新興宗教楽団』としての世界観を持ち、奇抜な白塗りメイク、怪物をイメージした左手（神の手）、マイクを聖書に挟むスタイルで「我々は俗に言うバンドではない。我々は宗教団体である。教えを広めるためだけに存在している」という演出のもと布教活動を行い、音楽とエンターテインメントが融合した『新興宗教楽団NoGoD』を確立して行った。メジャーデビューに伴いバンド名を『NoGoD』に改めた後も「布教」「信者」という表現が使われている。
バンド名は「人は生きて行く支えになる何かを信じれば、それがその人の神になりえる。誰かの支え(神)のようなものに自分達がなれれば」「信じるものが一つあればそれを神様にすればいい。何も信じられないならあなたの神様になるから、どうか希望を捨てないでください」という意味を込めて団長が付けたもので、実際の新興宗教や無神論とは関係がなく、宗教自体を否定するものではないと説明している。団長自身は無神論者であることをたびたび公言しており、2013年2月にインタビューでバンド名の由来について問われた際、「若い頃は神の啓示がうんぬんと言っていたが、最近は楽曲を深く聴いてもらえることが多いため、きちんと答えなければならないと思っている」と述べている。
