The OA is an American mystery drama web television series with science fiction, supernatural and fantasy elements, which debuted on Netflix on December 16, 2016. Created and executive produced by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, the series is their third collaboration. The series consists of eight episodes, all directed by Batmanglij, and is produced by Plan B Entertainment and Anonymous Content. In the series, Marling stars as a young woman named Prairie Johnson who resurfaces after having been missing for seven years. Prairie now calls herself "The OA" and can see, despite having been blind before her disappearance.
The OA received generally favorable critical reception. The series' directing, visuals and acting were often singled out. Reviews also ranged from highly positive to negative, with several reviewers drawing both favorable and unfavorable comparisons with Stranger Things, another science fiction series that debuted on Netflix earlier that year.
On February 8, 2017, Netflix renewed the series for a second season, dubbed "Part II". Production started in January 2018 with Brit Marling reprising her lead role as Prairie.

The synthetic dye mauve was first so named in 1859. Chemist William Henry Perkin, then eighteen, was attempting to create a cure for malaria in 1856. An unexpected residue caught his eye, which turned out to be the first aniline dye – specifically, Perkin's mauve or mauveine, sometimes called aniline purple, but this new dye was originally called Tyrian Purple and was only called mauve after it was marketed in 1859. Earlier references to a mauve dye in 1856–1858 referred to a color produced using the semi-synthetic dye murexide or a mixture of natural dyes. Perkin was so successful in marketing his discovery to the dye industry that his biography by Simon Garfield is simply entitled Mauve. However, as it faded easily, the success of mauve dye was short-lived and it was replaced by other synthetic dyes by 1873. As the memory of the original dye soon receded, the contemporary understanding of mauve is as a lighter, less-saturated color than it was originally known.
The 1890s are sometimes referred to in retrospect as the "Mauve Decade", because of the characteristic popularity of the subtle color among progressive "artistic" types, both in Europe and the US.

プレイヤーが女子校の新任教師となって、生徒たちと共にバトルする学園アクションRPG。
ゲームは「学園パート」と「バトルパート」に分かれている。「学園パート」で「特訓」・「なでなで」・「プレゼント」をして親密度を上げ、育成した生徒を「バトルパート」にて操作して3Dバトルを行う。また、マルチバトルなどの対戦機能も存在する。
学園パートで各女の子を表示すると、Live2Dを用いた表情を見ることができる。また女の子の衣装を着替えさせることができる点も大きな特徴である。女の子にタッチすると表情が変わり、数種類の会話を見ることができる(ただし乳房に触れると女の子は何も言わずに怒った表情となる)。会話パターンは親密度によって変わる。ちなみに親密度の上限は100だったが、「思い出のネックレス」をプレゼントすることで上限が120になる。親密度が120になると「親愛なる先生へ」という手紙が貰える。
女の子の頭をなでることによって親密度を上げることができる。なでなでは30分に1回のペースで回復する。最後のなでなでから48時間なでないと拗ねてしまい、セリフも変わる。この状態はなでるかプレゼントを贈ると機嫌が治る(親密度は上がらない)。また通常の状態から何度かなでなでをすると機嫌が上昇し、周囲に小さなハートが発生し、なでなですると親密度が+120になる。さらに上記の状態から女の子が好むプレゼントを贈ると、周囲にたくさんの大きなハートが発生し、親密度が+150になる(通常時は親密度+100)。
A contact lens, or simply contact, is a thin lens placed directly on the surface of the eye. Multiple analysts estimated that the global market for contact lenses would reach $11.7 billion by 2015. As of 2010, the average age of contact lens wearers globally was 31 years old, and two-thirds of wearers were female.
People choose to wear contact lenses for many reasons. Aesthetics and cosmetics are the main motivating factors for people who want to avoid wearing glasses or to change the appearance of their eyes. Others wear contact lenses for functional or optical reasons. When compared with spectacles, contact lenses typically provide better peripheral vision, and do not collect moisture (from rain, snow, condensation etc.) or perspiration. This can make them preferable for sports and other outdoor activities. Contact lens wearers can also wear sunglasses, goggles, or other eyewear of their choice without having to fit them with prescription lenses or worry about compatibility with glasses. Additionally, there are conditions such as keratoconus and aniseikonia that are typically corrected better with contact lenses than with glasses.
The size of the contact lens market is likely to grow due to the increasing occurrence of eye-related conditions such as astigmatism, hyperopia and myopia. The other drivers are increasing population, the desire to make fashion statements, and technological advancement. By the end of 2020, the value of the contact lens market is predicted to reach $13.5 billion.
Leonardo da Vinci is frequently credited with introducing the idea of contact lenses in his 1508 Codex of the eye, Manual D, wherein he described a method of directly altering corneal power by either submerging the head in a bowl of water or wearing a water-filled glass hemisphere over the eye. Neither idea was practically implementable in da Vinci's time. He did not suggest his idea be used for correcting vision, as he was more interested in learning about the mechanisms of accommodation of the eye.
