『どついたるねん』は、1987年に出版された赤井英和の自伝をもとに、阪本順治が監督・脚本を務め、赤井本人の主演で映画化したボクシングを題材にした日本映画である。
劇場初公開は1989年11月11日。1989年度の第32回ブルーリボン賞作品賞受賞作品、第63回キネマ旬報ベストテン日本映画部門第2位。
本作が監督デビュー作の阪本順治と俳優としてはほとんど実績のない赤井英和主演で、公開当初は映画館での上映が出来なかったため、原宿に特設テントを設置して荒戸源次郎事務所作品としての上映であった。予算も無く宣伝などは無かったが口コミで評判が広がり、テント上映は長期間行われた。
赤井は1985年2月5日に行われた大和田正春との試合後、意識不明に陥り急性硬膜下血腫・脳挫傷で開頭手術を行い現役を引退、奇跡的に回復したもののボクシングへの情熱は断ちがたく、危険を承知の上で当時日本ミドル級の現役チャンピオンだった大和武士を相手に身体を張ったボクシングシーンの撮影に挑んだ。
低予算の映画だが、迫力ある試合場面や主演の赤井、脇を固めた相楽、麿、原田のひたむきな演技等が多方面から賞賛され、後にビデオ・DVD化もされ大成功を収めた。
監督・阪本順治と俳優・赤井英和が飛躍するきっかけとなった作品である。
EDCやLet It Rollなどの超大型フェスへのヘッドライナー出演や、名門ミックスシリーズ「Fabric Live」を担当するなど、アーティストしても華々しい活躍を続けるCriticalレーベルの創始者Kasraが待望の初来日。

宮城 マリオ（みやぎ まりお、本名：宮城剛（みやぎつよし）、1976年5月24日 - ）は、エアギタリスト。新潟県佐渡市生まれ、東京都板橋区育ち。日本大学芸術学部音楽学科卒業。
日本国内においてのエアギター黎明期から活動している。東京都内でライブハウス新宿ロフトや新宿ロフトプラスワンなどを運営するロフト・プロジェクトで映像部門に所属し、ニューロティカやザ50回転ズ、the 原爆オナニーズのライブDVDを手掛けた後、退社。各種楽器の演奏に長けており、ギター、ベース、ピアノ、トロンボーンの演奏ができ、譜面の読み書きもできる。大学の後輩で、後に日本選手権で優勝する市川・ザ・ロックをエアギターに勧誘したのは彼である。 デイリーポータルZの動画コーナーにおいて短編作品を発表している。 コータロー＆ザ・ビザールメンでは、手品を担当している。

谷村 新司（たにむら しんじ、1948年12月11日 - ）は、日本のシンガーソングライター、タレント、作詞家、作曲家、大学教授。アリスのリーダー。血液型はAB型。3人兄姉の次男(兄1人、姉1人)。愛称はチンペイ。娘は歌手の谷村詩織。
大阪府大阪市住之江区出身、大阪市東住吉区桑津育ち。表彰歴には日本赤十字社金色有功章など。
大阪市立桑津小学校、同立東住吉中学校、大阪府立大和川高等学校（現・大阪府教育センター附属高等学校）卒業。桃山学院大学中退。 少年時代は肥満体型で、「ブタ」と渾名され傷つく。特に音楽に興味があった訳ではないが、『渡り鳥シリーズ』でギターを弾く小林旭の姿を見て一念発起。「女にモテたい一心で」（本人談）ギターを練習し始め、やがてバンド活動も開始した。
1965年、高校在学中に山本峯幸、島津ちず子とピーター・ポール&マリースタイルのフォーク・グループ「ロック・キャンディーズ」を結成。グループ名は「氷砂糖」の意。大阪と神戸で絶大な人気を誇り、神戸のアマチュア・バンド・サークル「ポート・ジュビリー」の看板グループであった。 1968年9月、シングル「どこかに幸せが」で東芝レコードよりデビュー。1971年には唯一のアルバム『讃美歌』を発表している。
1970年、大阪万博の会場で、後にアリスの所属事務所「ヤングジャパン」社長となる細川健と知り合う。細川の音頭取りで実行したアメリカ・コンサート・ツアーで「ロック・キャンディーズ」や「ザ・フォーク・クルセダーズ」らと共に参加していたソウル・バンド「ブラウン・ライス」のドラマー矢沢透と知り合い意気投合。帰国したら一緒にグループを組もうと約束する。このとき谷村の頭の中には、新グループ「アリス」の構想ができつつあった。このアメリカ・ツアー中にレッド・ツェッペリンのステージを観る機会があり、ジミー・ペイジの独特のギター・プレイに圧倒されたという。同じく訪米中にジャニス・ジョプリンのライブを観る機会にも恵まれ、「当時彼女の生演奏に触れることのできた数少ない日本人として幸運」と谷村本人が語っている。

A kamuy (Ainu: カムィ ; Japanese: 神威 or 神居 , kamui) is a spiritual or divine being in Ainu mythology, a term denoting a supernatural entity composed of or possessing spiritual energy.
In concept, kamuy are similar to the Japanese kami but this translation misses some of the nuances of the term. Kamuy are numerous; some are delineated and named, such as Kamuy Fuchi, the hearth goddess, while others are not. Kamuy often has very specific associations, for instance, there is a kamuy of the undertow.
Personified deities of Ainu mythology often have the term kamuy applied as part of their names.
センポクカンポクは、越中国の東礪波郡利賀村（現・富山県南砺市）に伝わる妖怪。
大きなヒキガエルのような体と、人間のような顔を持つ。家に死人が出ると、死んだ者の掛けむしろのもとに現れ、死後から1週間経つと大戸の外に出て番をする。3週間の間はその家にいるが、4週間経つと死者の霊を導いて墓場へと行く。死者の霊魂の番をし、その道案内をする役目を持つ者と考えられている。南砺市付近では、子供向けの昔話によくセンポクカンポクが登場したという。
またこの地方では大きなカエルのことをカサゴットの神、またはテンテンゴットの神と呼び、人が死に瀕しているときに名を呼ぶと、この神の妖術によって助かるという言い伝えもある。カサやテンテンは疣や瘡などの出来物を意味するらしく、ゴットはカエルを意味する方言である。
