大阪生まれ横浜育ちのユニット。大阪で別々に育った二人が就職で移り住んだ横浜で出会い、2000年にN.U.を結成。ファン0人の中、二人揃って退社しストリートライブを開始。着実にファンを増やしてきた。地元横浜でのラジオやライブ・イベント活動を軸に各地へ活動の足を伸ばしている。
ユニット名の意味は庭瀬のNとNを支えるみんな“.”（ドット）、宇田のUとUを支えるみんな“.”（ドット）から「N.U.」となり、ドットを忘れないでねとアピールする事がある。
2003年3月、横浜での1000人ライブを成功させるなど精力的な活動を経て、2004年5月から横浜限定シングル5ヶ月連続リリース、同年10月にマキシシングルをリリース、毎週金曜夜は横浜関内のイセザキモールで路上ライブを行っていた。
2006年は初のワンマンライブツアー（渋谷・横浜・名古屋・金沢）の成功で締めくくり、2007年初頭には関東を中心に15ケ所を回るライブサーキットをはさんで、4月には待望の2ndマキシシングル『泣きうさぎ』を発売。
2007年7月、月に一度の100人限定ライブ【Uchi-K-heN?】を開始し、毎回ソールドアウトするほどの人気を博す。これ以降毎月行われているこのワンマンライブは2014年6月で7周年を迎える。
2007年12月、アルバム『ポップコーンとショートムービー』をリリースし、神奈川県民小ホールでのホールワンマンを開催。
2008年12月にはオールセルフプロデュースアルバム『けやき通りスケッチブック』をリリース。また同年、NHK-FM横浜放送局 Jリーグ“神奈川ダービー”テーマソング『ゴール！』を発表。テーマソング・CMソング制作の分野でも活躍し始める。

Develop One's Faculties is a visual kei band formed by ex-cocklobin members Yuya and Johannes. They released their first single, 「フラスコを振ると天秤揺れた」, on December 20, 2014 through their live event and web-shop.

百々 和宏（もも かずひろ、1972年11月2日 - ）は、日本のミュージシャン、シンガーソングライター。MO'SOME TONEBENDERのボーカル、ギター。福岡県福岡市出身。
1997年、福岡県にて武井靖典、藤田勇と共にロックバンドMO'SOME TONEBENDERを結成。2001年9月21日、ユニバーサルシグマよりアルバム『HELLO』でMO'SOME TONEBENDERのボーカル、ギターとしてメジャー・デビュー。
2012年4月25日にソロ1stアルバム『窓』を発表。ジャケットは漫画家のタナカカツキによるもの。同年夏には百々和宏としてフジロックフェスティバル、ライジング・サン・ロックフェスティバル等のフェスティバルに出演。同年8月16日、L'Arc〜en〜Cielのyukihiro、凛として時雨の345とともにgeek sleep sheepを結成。

詐病（さびょう、Malingering）とは、経済的または社会的な利益の享受などを目的として病気であるかのように偽る詐偽行為である。
類義語に仮病（けびょう）があるが、詐病とはニュアンスが異なる。仮病は、欠席の理由付けなど、その場しのぎに行うものをいうことが多い。これに対して詐病は、実利を目的とするものをいうことが多く、どちらかというと虚偽性障害（きょぎせいしょうがい）に近い。また、類似の症例としてミュンヒハウゼン症候群があるが、これは周囲の関心を引くために行われるという点で詐病や仮病とは異なる。 DSM-5には「詐病は個人的な利益（金銭、休暇）などを得るために意図的に病状を訴えるという点で作為症とは異なる。対照的に、作為症の診断には明らかな報酬の欠如が必要である。」と書かれている。
詐病・仮病という名称は、いずれも偽る行為をさす。
また人が危機に面した時に心因性の病気を発し、危機を回避しようとする自己防衛が働く、半仮病というものがある。
詐病は保険金や社会保障などを不正受給する詐欺行為のために行われる。 また、完全に嘘ではないが怪我による苦痛や不利益を過剰申告して保険金や補償などを余分に引き出す行為も行われる。
病気療養中でも給与の一部が支払われたり、共済組合などから給与相当分が支払われることを悪用して、診断書などを偽造して傷病手当を得る行為がある。 公務員がこれを利用して長期欠勤のまま給与を不正受給し続けたことが問題化したことがある。
病気による就労不能を理由として生活保護を不正受給する場合もある。 しかし、近年では引きこもりは一種の精神病や適応障害であり、正当な病気による就労不能であると主張する意見もあり、これは詐欺行為とは言えないといわれている。 実際に生活保護を受給している引きこもりも存在する。

絶叫する60度（ぜっきょうする60ど）は、南緯60度から70度にかける海域の俗称である。英語からシュリーキング・シックスティーズ（Shrieking Sixties）、スクリーミング・シックスティーズ（Screaming Sixties）ともいう。南極海を航行する船は、吠える40度、狂う50度を超えたこの海域でさらに強い嵐に見舞われる。

ロゴマークの「GReeeeN」の4つの「e」は、メンバーの人数、および、歯学部出身・在籍に因んで笑顔になるときに見える歯並びをイメージしてデザインされており、「smileを届けられる存在でありたい」というメンバーの気持ちを表している。eの角度は18度であり、18は、良い歯⇒いーは⇒18という意味である。

牧が大学進学で上京し、中学校からの同級生だった長谷川が1年遅れて上京。牧が大学で知り合ったドラムと、3ピースで活動を始める。もう1人ギターを加えた体勢にしたいと考え、インターネット上でメンバー募集をかけたところ、宮川が加入。その後、ドラムがバンドを辞め、新たなドラマーを探していたところ、ジェットセイヤを紹介される。
牧が、ヴァセリンズ・ザ・ヴァインズ・ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドなどVから始まる海外のバンドに格好良いバンドが多いと思い、Vから始まる単語を探していたところ、「バニラ」という単語が目にとまる。本人曰く、「vanilla」の表記はかっこいいが、意味の「バニラ」は可愛くギャップに気に入った。「THE」が付くバンドが多かったため「ザ・バニラズ」ではなく、「THE」に変わるものがないかと考えていた時に、ジョジョの奇妙な冒険のジャイロ・ツェペリの金歯に“ゴー!ゴー!ツェペリ”と彫られていることを思い出し、“go!go!”を頭につけた。
