As well as street performers active in Japan, many inviting street performers in various fields playing abroad, beyond the festival of street performance, has become a festival of performing arts. In an interview with Game On!, Capcom Research and Development head Noritaka Funamizu stated that of the series' characters, Zangief was one of the most popular characters with American audiences, alongside Ryu and Guile. Currently, it is one of Asia's largest street performance festivals representing Shizuoka City.

世阿弥作の複式夢幻能「融」から取材した地唄舞です。
「融」とは歴史上の貴人、嵯峨天皇の皇子で臣下に下り、源姓を賜った「源融」のことです。地唄では、後場から始まります。
左大臣融が、ありし昔の優雅な姿で現れ、月光の下、月の神秘に想いを馳せながら、昔の夜遊のままに袖をひるがえして遊舞の舞を舞います。夜通し舞い続けてもなお興はつきませんが、夜明けとともに、光陰に誘われて月の都に向かい姿を消していきました。

浮世を捨て尼になっている女性が過ぎ去った恋の思い出に引き込まれていく内容です。
楽しいことも、辛いことも一通り辿ったところで、徐々に冷静さを取り戻してゆきます。
冒頭の「花も雪も払えば清き袂かな」は苦しみを乗り越えた清浄な心を表しています。
雪は現実の世界を一面に覆い尽くしますので、不要なものは埋もれたままでよいのです。
傘は感情表現の脇役として扱うようにしています。
MeguとAyumuの二人の女性からなる音楽ユニット。ユニット名のZweiとは、ドイツ語で「ふたつ」を意味している。このほかに、二つの異なるマテリアル、すなわち「DIGITAL & ANALOG（生楽器の暖かさとデジタル楽器のスピード感）、U.K ROCK & J-POP（U.KのロックサウンドとJ-POPの癒しのメロディ）、VOICE & VISUAL（Ayumuの攻撃的な声とMeguの攻撃的なビジュアル）の融合」という意味が込められている。
日本で数多くのCMソングなどを手がけるイギリス人音楽プロデューサーのニック・ウッドが全面的にプロデュースする、初の日本人アーティストである。4thシングル「Dragon」からは、ビーイング系作曲家の大島こうすけを迎えるようになり、レーベルを移籍した現在も作曲・編曲などに携わっている。
5pb.Recordsへ移籍後は、本来のロック路線を継続しながらも、志倉千代丸をエグゼクティブプロデューサーに迎えてからは主にジャンルをゲームソング路線に活躍の幅を広げ、現在に至る。
Megu発案によるライブを盛り上げる際に行う「わっしょいコール」は、デビュー当時から行っており、現在もライブ・イベントに出演する際に行う恒例行事となっている。
ファンの事を、女性ファンは「ハニー」、男性ファンは「男性（メンズ）ハニー」と呼ぶ。
PaniCrewというグループ名は、
と、2つの言葉を繋げて出来たものである。最初、「サイバー・オクトパス」という名前を考えていたそうだが、事務所に却下されたらしい。
