MAN WITH A MISSION(マン・ウィズ・ア・ミッション)は、日本の5人組ロックバンドである。

Gideon is an American Christian heavy metal band hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who were established in 2008. The group's current label imprint is Equal Vision Records and formers were Facedown Records and Strike First Records. In 2011, the band came out with a studio album called Costs with Strike First. Their second studio album was issued in 2012, titled Milestone, under current imprinter Facedown. On Febuarary 10, 2016 Gideon announced that they left Facedown Records and signed to Equal Vision Records and will release their fourth album later in the year. The band released their first single "Pulling Teeth", on July 1, 2016.
Background
In 2008, the band started in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They are made up of vocalist Daniel McWhorter, lead guitarist Tyler Riley, rhythm guitarist Daniel McCartney, and drummer Jake Smelley.
Music history
The outfit released an independent extended play project in 2010 with their self-titled Gideon EP. They got picked up by the smaller label division Strike First Records of Facedown Records in 2011 shortly before they debuted their first studio album Costs. Eventually, the band got the attention of Facedown, who signed the band before the release of Milestone in 2012 making it their second studio album. Even better, the second album had some prowess on a few Billboard charts and those were the Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums.
Style
Sources have put their music into various genres, from hardcore punk to melodic hardcore to metalcore. However, the band have slowly started to pursue a harder style eschewing the more melodic styles in favor towards the thrash side of the spectrum. At its core, the music is Christian metal for its sacred elements and heavy metal in its holistic encompassing totality of the sounds it contains.

Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" in 2010 and released the critically acclaimed mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence in 2011. The mixtapes were later remastered and released on the compilation album Trilogy (2012), after he signed with Republic Records and created his own record label XO.
Tesfaye has had three number-one releases (Beauty Behind the Madness in 2015, Starboy in 2016, and My Dear Melancholy in 2018) and another top-two release (Kiss Land in 2013) on the US Billboard 200. He has earned eight top-ten entries on the Billboard Hot 100: "Love Me Harder" with Ariana Grande; "Earned It"; "I Feel It Coming"; "Pray for Me" with Kendrick Lamar; "Call Out My Name"; and the number one singles "The Hills", "Can't Feel My Face", and "Starboy". In 2015, Tesfaye became the first artist to simultaneously hold the top three positions on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart with "Can't Feel My Face", "Earned It", and "The Hills". Tesfaye has won three Grammy Awards and nine Juno Awards.
Tesfaye was born on 16 February 1990 in Toronto, Ontario, and was raised in the district of Scarborough, in the city's east end.[5][6] He is the only child of Makkonen and Samra Tesfaye, who were Ethiopian immigrants to Canada in the late 1980s.
During Tesfaye's youth, his mother worked several jobs in order to support the family, including jobs as a nurse and caterer. This was alongside attending night school to learn English. Tesfaye's father abandoned the family when he was a toddler, resulting in Tesfaye being cared for by his grandmother and mother. While living with his grandmother Tesfaye learned Amharic, which he also spoke with his mother, and attended Ethiopian Orthodox church services. Tesfaye stated this in an interview regarding his father, "I saw him vaguely when I was six, and then again when I was 11 or 12, and he had a new family and kids. I don't even know where he lived — I'd see him for, like, a night. I'm sure he's a great guy. I never judged him. He wasn't abusive; he wasn't an alcoholic; he wasn't an asshole. He just wasn't there."
Tesfaye self-describes his teenage years as the film "Kids without the AIDS". Tesfaye states he began smoking marijuana at age 11, and later moved on to harder drugs. Tesfaye claims he often shoplifted to supplement his use of ecstasy, oxycodone, xanax, cocaine, psilocybin, and ketamine.
Tesfaye attended West Hill Collegiate Institute and Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Toronto, from which he did not graduate, leaving altogether in 2007., after which Tesfaye also left home. Tesfaye moved to the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto. Tesfaye has credited his stage name as being inspired by his high school dropout status, claiming "after [he] left one weekend and never came home", though producer Jeremy Rose claims the name was his idea. The spelling was modified in order to avoid trademark issues with the Canadian band The Weekend.
Tesfaye began dating model Bella Hadid at the beginning of 2015; the couple were first seen together in April at Coachella. Hadid later starred in his music video "In the Night" in December. They also made a red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2016 Grammy Awards. On 11 November 2016, it was reported that the couple had split; citing their conflicting schedules as the rationale for the relationship's termination. Tesfaye reportedly started dating Selena Gomez in January 2017 and they moved in together temporarily in September 2017 in Greenwich Village, New York. They broke up in October 2017. As of May 2018, Tesfaye and Hadid began dating again.
Tesfaye often used drugs to help get over writer's block on earlier albums and also abused illegal substances such as "... Ketamine, cocaine, MDMA, mushrooms and cough syrup". Speaking in December 2013, Tesfaye said that drugs were a "crutch" for him when it came to writing music. On social media he typically suffixed his first name with "xo". According to writer Hermione Hoby, it is meant as an emoticon for "a kiss and a hug", while VH1's Zara Golden's stated that it is a reference to his recreational use of ecstasy and oxycodone. He later altered the handles on his social media to reflect his stage name in preparation for the release of Starboy.
Tesfaye's hairstyle has been claimed to be partly inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat and has been described as his most recognizable trait. In an interview, he detailed that he began growing it out in 2011, and remarked at the easiness in maintaining it, with "a hard shampoo every once in a while". He eventually cut his hair in 2016 prior to the release of Starboy.
In his leisure time, he enjoys watching television and is an avid video game fan. In the context of media outlets reporting cases of police brutality, in 2016, he expressed disdain, tweeting "blue lives murder". In May 2016, Tesfaye and Belly cancelled an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! due to Donald Trump being present.

José James attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In 2008, he debuted with his first album, The Dreamer, on the Brownswood label. Blackmagic followed in 2010. 2010's For All We Know came out on the Impulse! label. For All We Know became the winner of both the Edison Award and L'Académie du Jazz Grand Prix for best Vocal Jazz Album of 2010.
Often referred to as a jazz singer for the hip-hop generation, New York City-based vocalist José James combines jazz, soul, drum’n’bass, and spoken word into his own unique brand of vocal jazz. While he states his main influences as John Coltrane, Marvin Gaye, and Billie Holiday, his sound on early 12″ singles and in live performances brought to mind such icons of ’70s jazz-soul as Terry Callier, and his music felt more like an update of the fluid crossover approach of Gil Scott-Heron, while also being distinctly his own.
James released his full-length debut album, Dreamer, in 2008 on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood imprint. The album ended up earning him accolades worldwide for its blend of jazz, electronic, soul, and pop styles. It placed at number 21 in Jazz Times’ Top 50 for the year. Consequently, James played on prestigious stages all over the world, including those at the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Victoria Jazz Festival, Billboard Live Tokyo, Centro Cultural São Paolo, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Central Park Summerstage in New York, and London’s Royal Festival Hall. James made numerous guest appearances on recordings by the Junior Mance Trio, Jazzanova, Nicola Conte, Basement Jaxx, and Chico Hamilton, to name a few.
He followed Dreamer with Blackmagic in February of 2010. In May of that year, he also made his Impulse! debut with For All We Know, a collection of standards performed in duet with Belgian pianist Jef Neve. He toured relentlessly for the next year and a half, often sitting in with jazz musicians as well as headlining his own dates in Europe, Japan, and the United States. He signed to Blue Note Records in 2012, and issued “Trouble,” his first single for the label, in September of that year. His fourth album, No Beginning, No End, was released in January of 2013.
James began composing while on the road. New songs reflected a renewed interest in artists he listened to growing up (Nirvana, Radiohead) as well as newer ones who made an impression (Frank Ocean, James Blake). As a result, he cut While You Were Sleeping, a collection that reflected rock alongside R&B and jazz. It was released in June of 2014.
In commemoration of Billie Holiday’s 100th birthday, the singer he claimed — from the very beginning of his career — as his “musical mother,” James recorded nine songs written or associated with her. He fronted a band that included pianist Jason Moran, bassist John Patitucci, and drummer Eric Harland. Yesterday I Had the Blues was produced by Blue Note label-head Don Was and released in March of 2015. In 2017, José James was reborn as a powerful voice in contemporary R&B on Love in a Time of Madness, his vibrant new album which was released on February 24. ~ Matt Collar & Thom Jurek

Building a live house in Miyako, Ounatari, Ishinomaki, the band and musicians visit the afflicted areas, they rejoiced each other, they are energetic, feel the disaster area where the scars of the earthquake remains, and feel the feeling for reconstruction. It is a purpose to expand and connect even a little.
Since I was able to communicate the purpose of the project to the colleagues and the stakeholders who are in the field and gain a lot of approval, as a foothold of cooperation and recovery of the afflicted areas. And after the reconstruction, not only bands and musicians but also various people can connect and share with each other

Already more than 20 years that Tagada Jones travels the national and international scenes with his Punk-Hardcore. The group crossed 25 countries, produced 9 studio albums and burned the boards more than 1800 times! Without doubt one of the only French Punk combos to be exported by singing in his native language.
Tagada is also a social conscience, a political commitment and above all a reference in terms of independence. Worthy heirs of the French alternative scene, they are recognized by their predecessors (Bérurier Noir, Parabellum, Shériff ...) as being the epitome of the French "Do it yourself".
If the combo started his career a little over twenty years ago in the form of a quartet 100% punk-rock, his music has undergone some changes including a more electro-punk orientation for a few years with the arrival from a fifth member to the samples. Today the group has returned to its first love and continues to compose a punk music true to its roots, even if the electro-indus aspect has not completely disappeared. The group covers more than ever a musical spectrum ranging from English punk, origins to its Californian version of the 90s, through the alternative hexagonal 80s or metal and hardcore. Influences that have been perfectly digested to finally lead to music that looks like nothing else than Tagada Jones!
If the music has evolved, it remains immediately recognizable, thanks to the voice of Niko, his rabid song and his militant lyrics. Texts that have also known a certain evolution but which remain largely focused on societal problems such as capitalism, globalization, oppression, wars, racism, ecology, politics, religions , conjugal violence or freedom in the broad sense of the term ... The themes remain serious, the vision terribly lucid, and the whole brush a rather dark but realistic portrayal of the current society.
Finding the perfect balance between sharpened sociopolitical awareness and sonic virulence, worn by unifying refrains, biting guitars and overpowering hearts, Tagada Jones is the spearhead of the French punk-hardcore scene.
It appeared suddenly in January 2011 and continues to shock audience. A next level beat that strikes a tremendous worldview on the axis.
Their 1st album "skillkills" was released on December 24, 2011; 2nd album "BLACK MUTANT" was released on Avant Hip Hop label (BLACK SMOKER RECORDS) on December 26th 2012.

3rd album "ILLGENIC" released on January 22, 2014, 4th album "Ill Connection" on January 28, 2015
Also released from "THROAT RECORDS" "Ill Connection" analog board.

Matt Sounds of Japan that is rumored that there is not anything to the right in the world if Jamaican vintage music is played.
