ベイ・シティ・ローラーズは、70年代半ばから若い女性を中心に人気になったアイドル・グループである。
前身は1965年に結成された「サクソンズ（The Saxons）」というグループ。アラン（ベース）とデレク（ドラムス）のロングミュアー兄弟と4人の友人により結成され地元のパブ等で演奏するようになる。
タム・ペイトンがマネージャーになり、ロングミュアー兄弟は1968年にグループ名を「ベイ・シティ・ローラーズ」に改称。1971年夏にシングル「朝まで踊ろう（Keep on Dancing）」でデビューした。当時のリードボーカルはノビー・クラークであった。この曲は全英9位になるヒットとなり、のちにエリック・フォークナーが加入した。「ベイ・シティ」の名前はメンバーによると、アメリカ合衆国の地図を開きダーツの矢を投げたところ、矢がささった場所のミシガン州にBay City（ベイシティ）という名前をみつけ、これをグループ名につけた。この話は日本で放映されたテレビ番組でも、取り上げられたことがある。
マネージャーのペイトンは、幾度かのメンバーチェンジを行い、1974年にレスリー・マッコーエン（リードボーカル）、エリック・フォークナー（リード・ギター）、スチュアート・ウッディ・ウッド（サイド・ギター後にベース）、アラン・ロングミュアー（ベース）、デレク・ロングミュアー（ドラム）という5人編成になってから、「バイ・バイ・ベイビー」(1975)、「サタデー・ナイト」(1976)などのヒット曲を生み出し、本国イギリスを皮切りに、その後アメリカや日本など、世界中で人気を博し、日本でも度々公演が行われた。このころからの熱烈なローラーズ・ファンが、ラジオ・パーソナリティの山本さゆりである。「二人だけのデート」もヒットするなど大人気の中、年長者であるアラン・ロングミュアーが脱退した。そのあと、イアン・ミッチェル（ギター）が新たに参加するが、同じ年にミッチェルは脱退し、パット・マッグリン（ギター）が参加した。しかし、パット・マッグリンも短い期間で脱退となり、メンバーチェンジが激しい時期があった。日本では77年ごろまで、イアン・ミッチェルを中心に脱退したメンバーが結成したロゼッタ・ストーンの曲まで洋楽チャート番組にのるなど人気が持続した。だが、78年ごろには人気が落ちてしまった。

HERE（ヒアー）は、日本のロックバンド。2008年に結成。インビシブルマンズデスベッドの元メンバー。過剰なまでのハイテンションなライブが話題。
Folca is a rock band from Kobe. There is no meaning in the band name, it is a coined word. Originally formed as a quartet in Kobe in 2008, Folca relocated to Tokyo in 2011.
In july 2008 they had the first live in Kobe. After that the band has appeared in many stages and TV shows. Their second album was released on February 22nd, 2016.
The band's longtime drummer Miyamoto Masaaki withdrew in 2014 and now Folca performs as a trio.
みそっかす、ミソッカスとは、味噌を漉（こ）した時に生じる滓（かす）のことで価値がないものの喩えとして使われたり、物の数に入らない者、仲間に入れてもらえない子供などを指して使われる言葉である。

They incorporates the essence of rock, jazz, funk, electro, etc based on the concept of dance music. Four persons set instrumental band to make a rich arrangement. Their 1st album "hi hop" released in 2009 was selected as a recommendation "Tower Recomend" of Tower Records, and at the same time refined live performances were also rumored and it also appeared in "SUMMER SONIC '09 Osaka".
In 2011, Sawagi hosts their own event "Mitole" at Osaka BIGCAT and then moved the base of their activities from Kansai to Tokyo. Sawagi released the 1st full album "Punch Games" which was released on 11th August 2012, and invited rega, Nabowa, PETROLZ etc In January of the following year they held "Mitole" at Shibuya, Umeda QUATTRO. That sound and live style attracted attention from all sides, tour support of a number of artists, co-starring with the artist Lotus, Shortstraw, Maya Vik, Proviant Audio etc coming to Japan. From 2014, their Dj's voluntary project "Parabola" will be held every other month. Sawagi also do activities such as Aira Mitsuki 's production, CASIO KIDS, Low Frequency Club, Rina Fujii, The Best of jazzin' for Ghibli (VA) remix.
Sawagi Taiko was founded in Vancouver, Canada, it was the first all-male kumidaiko (taiko) group in Canada. It was founded by a group of men from Katari Taiko, the first Canadian kumidaiko group, and all of its members are exclusively Asian. As an offshoot of Katari Taiko, Sawagi considers San Jose Taiko an inspiration. Sawagi finds inspiration in the Chicago blues, occasionally including electric bass and vocal improvisation in their songs, as well as Japanese folk songs, and rap. Sawagi writes and arranges most of their compositions/dance's, some of which involve skits and vocals.
Formed in 2012, DENIMS is a band from Osaka Sakai. In 2015, they released the 1st Mini Album "Daily use" which was the first national distribution from voluntary label "OSAMIstudio".
The 2nd Mini Album "iggy & pops" was released in 2016, and the first one man performed at the tour final, Toei Shinsaibashi CONPASS, was held. They also appeared in FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '16 the same year. In 2017 they appeared in VIVA LA ROCK. In the same year, they released his first full album "DENIMS".
ShortStraw is an indie rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. ShortStraw is currently signed to their independently formed publishing label Boosh Records in South Africa, with digital distribution by Sony Music.
The band was formed in 2007 as a two-piece consisting of Oliver Nathan (drums and backing vocals) and Alastair Thomas (lead vocals and guitar). Jason Hartford (guitar and keyboard) joined the band in 2008 and Phil Brierley (bass) later joined the band in 2009.
In 2011, Jason Hartford and Phil Brierley left the band and were later replaced by Gad De Combes (keyboard and backing vocals), Tom Revington (lead guitar) and Russell Grant (bass). Jake Rubinstein replaced Oliver Nathan on drums in June 2013 to complete the current line-up

Shortstraw won BEST INDIE at the 2013 MK Awards for the music video for One Long Day, and at the 2014 MK Awards picked up BEST ALBUM for Good Morning, Sunshine and BEST VIDEO for Waterworks. Shortstraw was nominated for BEST ALTERNATIVE at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards. In 2015, the band’s latest album Youthless debuted at #1 on the South African iTunes Chart.
Shortstraw has also had the incredible opportunity to have toured with a number of great international bands both in South Africa and abroad, including The Kooks (UK), The Jungle Giants (AUS), Bombay Bicycle Club (UK), Last Dinosaurs (AUS), and the Dune Rats (AUS).
Formed by chance in Charleston in 2013, they have found international success for their dreamy pop songs.
Their music, and the new album especially has the ability to take you to a different place, with the hushed whispered vocals making you feel totally relaxed. It’s a goal of all different types of music to make you feel something, whether that be aggression, or sadness, nostalgia, or anticipation, Tape Waves are able to put you at ease, only making you feel more when you listen closely to the songs and start to comprehend the lyrics.
Down And Outs are an English band featuring members from Def Leppard, The Quireboys, and Raw Glory. The band made an appearance at the 2010 High Voltage Festival, launched their own branded beer, and also announced it would be performing with Paul Rodgers in April 2011 as the opening act on the latter's UK tour.
Their debut album, My ReGeneration, was released in 2010, and was followed by a DVD release of the band's show at Hammersmith Odeon.
Their second album welcomed with good reviews, Classic Rock Magazine stated their Further Adventures "raises the bar for Mott The Hoople covers while giving timeless songs a new lease of life as classics deserving of a new audience."
On 29 May, the group followed their album release with the premiere of the video for their first single, "Rock and Roll Queen" on Billboard.com.
To coincide with their December UK tour, Down and Outs released the video for the song "Sea Diver,” a bonus track taken from the iTunes release of their critically acclaimed album "The Further Adventures of…." In December 2014 they kicked off their 10-date UK tour to support the new album.
POPLIFE is an annual event. It started in November 2005 and regularly held in MONDO CAFE. It is a no-charge party and people feel free to enjoy music.
There is no space between POP and LIFE, please. It is not "POP LIFE" but "POPLIFE".
In early 2014, the band released "She Looks So Perfect" as its debut single, which topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The self-titled debut studio album was released in June 2014, which peaked at number one in 11 countries and followed by a live album titled LiveSOS. The band released their second album Sounds Good Feels Good in October 2015 and followed up with the release of a live documentary DVD called How Did We End Up Here.
On 2 December 2016, the band announced the release of their B-sides and rarities previously unavailable worldwide under the title This Is Everything We Ever Said to celebrate their fifth anniversary as a band.
5 Seconds of Summer began in 2011 when Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood, who all attended Norwest Christian College, started posting videos of themselves performing covers of popular songs together on Hemmings' YouTube channel. Hemmings' first video, a cover of Mike Posner's "Please Don't Go", was posted on the 3rd February in 2011. Their cover of Chris Brown's "Next to You" received over 600,000 hits. In December 2011, they were joined by drummer Ashton Irwin, and the four-man lineup was completed.
The band attracted interest from major music labels and publishers and signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV Music Publishing. Despite having had no promotion apart from on Facebook and Twitter, their first music release, an EP entitled Unplugged, reached number 3 on the iTunes chart in Australia and the Top 20 in both New Zealand and Sweden. Their international following increased significantly once again when One Direction member Louis Tomlinson posted the link to their YouTube video of their song "Gotta Get Out", stating that he'd been a fan of 5 Seconds of Summer "for a while". 5 Seconds of Summer were once again the subject of interest for One Direction following the release of their first single, "Out of My Limit", on 19 November 2012, this time with Niall Horan tweeting the link to the video clip.
