日本人の父とハンガリー人の母のもとに生まれる。6歳よりハンガリーのピアノ教育第一人者チェ・ナジュ・タマーシュネーに師事。単身ハンガリーに留学し、祖父母の家からバルトーク音楽小学校に通う。1997年および2000年に全国連弾コンクールで優勝し、2001年には全国ピアノコンクール9～11歳の部で優勝。同年、飛び級でリスト音楽院に入学し、エックハルト・ガーボル、ケヴェハージ・ジュンジ 、ワグナー・リタらに師事。
2006年に日本に帰国し、東京音楽大学付属高等学校2年に編入。清水和音、迫昭嘉、三浦捷子らに師事。2008年バルトーク国際ピアノコンクール優勝（ハンガリー）。
2009年、シャネル ピグマリオン・デイズ アーティストに選ばれる。2010年にリリースされたデビューアルバム「プレイズ・リスト」はレコード芸術特選盤に選ばれた。東京音楽大学ピアノ演奏家コースを首席で卒業、同大学院器楽専攻鍵盤楽器研究領域を修了。
2011年に第12回ホテルオークラ音楽賞を、2012年には第22回出光音楽賞を受賞。アーカイム日露友好協会奨学生。2012年、第4回C.I.V.C.ジョワドヴィーヴル賞を受賞。2013年、上毛賞「第10回上毛芸術文化賞 音楽部門）を受賞。2017年4月よりNHK-FM リサイタル・ノヴァ副支配人に就任。キシュマロシュ名誉市民（ハンガリー）、スタインウェイ･アーティスト。

His reputation grew as he ventured out into other genres of music such as jazz and rock. In 2001, he made his major debut with EMI Music Japan with an eponymous album, “AGATSUMA”. It was named the Traditional Japanese Music Album of the Year at the 16th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
His second album, “BEAMS ~ AGATSUMA II” released by Domo Records in the US, led him to a successful tour of the East Coast.
In 2005, he toured the EU, and won the Japan Gold Disc Award for the second time with “EN”, his sixth album. In 2010, an extensive tour took the unit to nine different countries in Japan, Europe and Africa. He celebrated his anniversary year with “The 10th Anniversary Special Concert ~ Tradition and Innovation 〜”. In 2011, he inaugurated “- KUSABI -”, an event where internationally acclaimed Japanese artists meet.
He has been active not only as a performer but also as a producer, writing scores for TV and theater.
In search of the Tsugaru shamisen’s tradition and innovation, with his creation transcending genres, Hiromitsu Agatsuma remains to be a valued asset.
He had the privilege of representing Japan and performing at the official dinner for TOKYO 2020 and the 5th Tokyo International Conference on African Development, both hosted by Prime Minister Abe.
In 2014, he composed and performed for Ebizo Ichikawa’s Kabuki production. It was unprecedented for a Kabuki stage to have a Tsugaru shamisen. He visits elementary schools all over Japan, teaching the children how fun the Japanese traditional music could be. He also makes a great effort to pass the culture down to the next generation. Hiromitsu Agatsuma is a leader of the new generation shamisen players.
This time, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to have the first recital at the wonderful hall called Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall.
Viola has a lot of success in chamber music and orchestra, I think that it is a musical instrument that is not familiar as solo, but it is said to be the nearest instrument to the human voice.
All of this program consisted of works of German composers. Although it is a wide age from baroque music to neoclassical music, every work has a lot of goodness unique to viola packed.
I will perform with the whole heart so that various voices of the viola and the charm of the character can be delivered to your heart.
Allevi attained a "first-class diploma" both in piano at the "F. Morlacchi" conservatoire in Perugia and in composition at the "G. Verdi" academy of music in Milan. He graduated cum laude in Philosophy with a thesis entitled "Il vuoto nella Fisica contemporanea" (The Void in Contemporary Physics) and he attended the Accademia Internazionale di Alto Perfezionamento in Arezzo, under maestro Carlo Alberto Neri.
In 1991 he did military service in the Banda Nazionale of the Italian Army. The master of the band noticed his piano talent and decided to put the piano soloist in his "inventory." He played the Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin and the Warsaw Concerto by Richard Addinsell in his capacity as the piano soloist of the Banda during a tour in numerous Italian theatres. At the end of his military service Allevi started presenting in concert a repertory formed exclusively of his own compositions for pianoforte while at the same time attending courses of "Bio-music and music therapy" by professor Mario Corradini, in which he enhanced his awareness of music's great power of "setting minds free" and its ability to evoke memories, images and emotions.
In 1996 he set to music the tragedy The Trojan Women by Euripides, performed on the occasion of the International Festival of the Ancient Drama in Siracusa. It won a special prize for the "best scene music."
In 1997 he won the international selections for young concert performers at the San Filippo Theatre in Turin.
He received the America Award of the Italy-USA Foundation in 2017.
Thanks to Saturnino, Giovanni Allevi matures the idea of moving to Milan and to gather into one CD his own piano production; this work is picked up by Lorenzo Cherubini, stage name Jovanotti, who, in 1997, under his label Soleluna and together with Universal Italia, decides to publish Allevi's first album, by the title of 13 Dita (13 Fingers) and produced by Saturnino. He also provided the music at the opening ceremony of the 2009 World Aquatics Championships in Rome.
Yokohama's population of 3.7 million makes it Japan's largest city after the Special Wards of Tokyo. Yokohama developed rapidly as Japan's prominent port city following the end of Japan's relative isolation in the mid-19th century, and is today one of its major ports along with Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya, Hakata, Tokyo, and Chiba.
The 2002 FIFA World Cup final was held in June at the International Stadium Yokohama. In 2009, the city marked the 150th anniversary of the opening of the port and the 120th anniversary of the commencement of the City Administration.
In November 2010, Yokohama hosted the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting.
愛媛県西条市出身。身長175cm。血液型はA型。父は声楽家の秋川暢宏。
4歳よりヴァイオリン、ピアノを習い始める。西条市立西条南中学校3年生の時に父の指導のもと声楽に転向。愛媛県立小松高等学校を経て国立音楽大学卒業、同大学院修了。その後4年間、イタリアのパルマにて修行。帰国後、ベートーヴェン作曲の交響曲第9番（合唱付き）のソロなど、数々のコンサートに出演。1998年にカンツォーネコンクール第1位、日本クラシック音楽コンクール声楽部門最高位をそれぞれ受賞した。
2001年に日本コロムビアよりテノール歌手としてCDデビュー。
2006年12月31日、カバー曲「千の風になって」 にて「紅白」(NHK) 初出場を果たす。
紅白歌合戦出場後、「千の風になって」が2007年1月15日付のオリコンシングルチャート第4位にランクイン。テノール歌手として史上初のトップ5ランクインを果たし、1月22日付のオリコンチャートにて1位となる。この曲の大ヒットが評価されて、「ベストヒット歌謡祭2007」では「40周年記念特別賞」を受賞した。
2008年3月、日本テレビの開局55周年スペシャルドラマ『東京大空襲』の主題歌を担当。X JAPANのYOSHIKIが書き下ろした曲『愛する人よ』を歌った。
コンサートはピアノ伴奏のみによる形式と、前半をピアノ伴奏、後半をバンド（ピアノ・バイオリン・ギター・ベース）をバックに行う形式をとる。
仙台市立八軒中学校が復興を祈願するために演奏した「あすという日が」を、秋川雅史と夏川りみがそれぞれ2011年9月21日にCDを同時発売した。
1972年に設立。各種コンサートの他、学校音楽観賞会を京都府内の小学校で行うなどクラシック音楽の啓蒙活動に取り組んでいる。2000年に特定非営利活動法人（NPO）となり、活動が本格的した。現在18名のメンバーで構成されている。共演者は佐藤俊太郎、有田正広、千住真理子らがおり、2005年11月12日には第21回京都賞受賞のため来日していたニコラウス・アーノンクールが公開リハーサルという形で指揮した。
かつては特定の指揮者を置いていなかったが、2014年4月に齊藤一郎が音楽監督に就任する予定。
今年生誕百年を迎えたアメリカの作曲家で名指揮者でもあるバーンスタインの作品を2曲取り上げます。吹奏楽の世界ではとっくにポピュラーになっているキャンデイードの序曲と、大ヒットしたブロードウエイミュージカル「ウエストサイド物語」の中の音楽を凝縮させたシンフォニック・ダンスを、神戸フィルが若々しく溌剌と挑戦します。
どちらもアメリカらしい明るくリズミカルなわかり易い音楽です。特にシンフォニック・ダンスはクラシックの演奏会では滅多に聞こえてこない強烈なジャズのリズムに溢れ、ジーンズとスニーカーで軽快に踊る若者の姿が見えてきそうです。今回は特に金管楽器奏者と打楽器奏者たちは満を持して鋭意練習を重ねています。彼等の大奮闘ぶりをご期待ください。
このウエストサイド物語は、シェイクスピアのロメオとジュリエットをベースにして現代のニューヨークの下町に移し変えたお話であることはご承知のことだと思います。この不滅の戯曲を、その題名まま数多くの作曲家がオペラに、バレエにそしてオーケストラの作品にして残しています。プロコフィエフの同名のバレエ曲はその中で最も成功した作品で、オーケストラの演奏会ではよく取り上げられるレパトリーです。今回は上演に2時間半くらいかかる曲の中から組曲として作曲家自ら編集したものを、もう一度私が一曲の交響詩風にまとめたものを聴いていただきます。もしかしたら前半のシンフォニック・ダンスと対をなしているなと感じていただければ嬉しいです。
今回の二つの物語はどちらも悲しい恋に終わる音楽なので、終わった後も心に沁みるようなコンサートになればと期待しつつ・・。

ウィーンを拠点に演奏を重ねたメンバーで結成された「ウィーン・ニコライ弦楽四重奏団」。室内楽の最高の薫陶を受けた弦楽四重奏団である。主にウィーン楽派そしてウィーンにおける初期のロマン派の音楽～ハイドン、モーツァルト、ベートーヴェン、シューベルト、ブラームスなど～をレパートリーに様々な作品に取り組んでいる。ソリストや室内楽の経験はもちろん、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団やウィーン国立歌劇場でのオーケストラ奏者として活躍するメンバーひとり一人の経験が、とても豊かでそして印象深いサウンドを創りあげている。ウィーン国立歌劇場におけるウィーン・フィルハーモニー室内楽シリーズでの公演だけでなく、ヨーロッパやアジアなど各地の音楽祭、公演を重ね、北京国立劇場の中国国家大劇院や上海の上海東方芸術センターなどの公演も高い評価を受けている。 日経イベンツガイド
