NHK Music Festival 2018 Chefs Opening a New Era Los Angeles Philharmonic
ロサンジェルス・フィルハーモニック（Los Angeles Philharmonic）は、カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスを本拠地とするアメリカ合衆国のオーケストラ。
1964年から2003年まで、ロサンゼルス・ミュージックセンターのドロシー・チャンドラー・パビリオンで演奏活動を行なったが、2003年からは、フランク・ゲーリー設計による近接のウォルト・ディズニー・コンサートホールに移動した。夏にはハリウッドボウルで野外コンサートを行なっている。1919年の創立以来、年に最低1度は、姉妹都市のサンタバーバラでも演奏を行う。映画音楽の演奏でも広く知られる。

公益財団法人NHK交響楽団（エヌエイチケイこうきょうがくだん、英語: NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo ）は、日本にあるオーケストラの一つ。通称「N響（エヌきょう）」。所在地は東京都港区高輪二丁目16番49号。公益社団法人日本オーケストラ連盟正会員。
日本最初のプロ・オーケストラ であり、 「新交響楽団」が源流である。
公益財団法人（2010(平成22)年4月1日より）であり、日本放送協会（NHK）からの出向者が歴代の理事長を務めている。2016年4月26日現在の理事長は森茂雄。NHKから受信料を財源に14億円（2013(平成25)年度）の交付金（国内放送費に計上）を受け、楽団側は演奏の放送などで事業に協力している。その他に民間各社からも支援を受けている。この助成金は、旧放送法、9条2項1号（1988(昭和63)年改正前）「放送番組編集上必要な劇団、音楽団を維持し、養成し、又は助成すること」を根拠に支出されている。この考え方は、現放送法20条（業務）2項6号「前項の業務に附帯する業務を行うこと」に引き継がれている。
NHKは別途、東京放送管弦楽団など放送用専属オーケストラを主要放送局ごとに持っており、紅白歌合戦などの歌番組や娯楽番組でNHK交響楽団が演奏することはない。
In conjunction with the opening of the New National Theater in 1997, New National Theatre Chorus began activities as a choir playing the core of numerous opera performances in theaters.
Members who are selected by rigorous judgment among 100 people every year will perform publicly. Individuals have not only a good voices but excellent acting skills, and with the perfect ensemble capability as a choir. They have well-known choruses that gain attention domestic and overseas media.
フィラデルフィア管弦楽団（フィラデルフィアかんげんがくだん 英語: The Philadelphia Orchestra ）は、アメリカ合衆国のペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィアを本拠地とするオーケストラ。
1900年、ペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィアに創立された、世界有数のオーケストラである。「アメリカ5大オーケストラ ("Big Five ")」の一つである。自作の協奏曲で録音も残しているラフマニノフは本楽団を「世界最高のオーケストラ」と賞賛し、最後の作品「交響的舞曲」は「フィラデルフィア・サウンドを想像しながら作曲した」と述べ、本楽団に献呈している。近年では、インターネットを通じたスクリーン会場でのコンサートなど、同時代の音楽活動でも実績を残している。
創立以来、1857年創設の米国最古のオペラハウス《アカデミー・オブ・ミュージック》を本拠地としていたが、2001年からは本楽団の為に建てられた、《キメル・パフォーミング・アーツ・センター》の内部のシンフォニー・ホール、《ヴェライゾン・ホール》で定期演奏している。なお、現在でも毎年、《アカデミー・オブ・ミュージック》の創設記念日に、寄付を目的とした演奏会を当オペラハウスにて開催している。
冬季定期演奏シーズンは10月から翌年5月の間、30週間、本拠地ヴェライゾン・ホールで同じプログラムを週４回（火、木、金、土曜日）演奏し、またカーネギー・ホールに毎年レギュラーとして5回ほど公演している。夏季はフィラデルフィア市内フェアモントパークのマーン・パフォーミング・アーツ・センター、ニューヨーク州のサラトガ音楽祭、コロラド州のベイルバレー音楽祭で演奏を行っている。夏の音楽祭では、フィラデルフィア・ロビンフッド・デル管弦楽団という名称で演奏することもあり、この名による録音も多く残されている。また、毎年遠征公演を行っており、2010年4月にはマルタ・アルゲリッチが同行して来日公演を行っている。
『NHK音楽祭』（エヌエイチケイおんがくさい）は、日本放送協会（NHK）が企画制作する音楽祭である。
2003年、テレビ放送開始50周年及びNHKホール開館30周年を記念して、「放送を通じてクラシック音楽をより多くの人に楽しんでもらい、豊かで質の高い文化の創造に貢献する」という理念のもと、創設された。毎回テーマを設定し、世界から一流オーケストラ、ソリストを招待し、NHKホールにおいてコンサートが開かれる。コンサートの模様はNHK-FMで生中継されるほか、ハイビジョン収録されて後日NHK Eテレ・BS2（2010年まで）またはBSプレミアム（2011年以降）にて放送される。2014年度はBSプレミアムで放送中の子供番組『みんなDEどーもくん!』との連動を予定している。
チェコ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（チェコ語: Česká filharmonie ）は、チェコの首都プラハを拠点とするオーケストラ。チェコを代表するオーケストラの1つ。本拠となるホールはプラハの「芸術家の家（ルドルフィヌム）」内にあるドヴォルザーク・ホール。
オーストリア・ハンガリー帝国時代のプラハ国民歌劇場の附属オーケストラが前身。1896年1月4日にドヴォルザークが自作を振ったときには、現在の名称が使われていたが、専任オーケストラとして独立するのは、1901年になってからである。1908年には、マーラーの指揮で自作の《交響曲第7番「夜の歌」》の世界初演が行われた。
世界的な名声を得るようになったのは、ヴァーツラフ・ターリヒ時代（1919年～1931年および1933年～1941年）である。ターリヒの後任指揮者にラファエル・クーベリック（1941年～1948年）が就任し1946年にはプラハの春音楽祭がスタートするが、クーベリックは1948年のチェコスロバキア共産党を中心とした政権の成立（1948年のチェコスロバキア政変）を嫌い、西側へ亡命してしまった。後任にはカレル・アンチェル（1950年～1968年）が就任したが、そのアンチェルもチェコ事件によるチェコの改革運動挫折をきっかけに西側に亡命してしまうという、ソ連の衛星国チェコスロバキアの悲劇を象徴するような事態が続いた。
その後ヴァーツラフ・ノイマン（1968年～1989年）の長期政権の下、地元の作曲家であるスメタナやドヴォルザークの録音や世界各地へのツアーを通じて「東側」の名門オーケストラとしての地位を築いた。チェコの民主化後はイルジー・ビエロフラーヴェク（1990年～1992年）、ゲルト・アルブレヒト（1993年～1996年）と続いた。民主化直後の1990年のプラハの春音楽祭では、帰ってきたクーベリックとの歴史的な再共演を行い、翌1991年にはこのコンビで来日も果たしている。
トン・コープマン（Ton Koopman, 1944年10月12日 オーファーアイセル州ズヴォレ - ）はオランダのオルガン奏者、チェンバロ奏者、指揮者。
古典学を修めた後、オルガン、チェンバロをアムステルダム音楽院でグスタフ・レオンハルト及びシモン・C・ヤンセンに師事し、音楽学をアムステルダム大学で学ぶ。オルガン演奏とチェンバロ演奏の奏法で優等（プリ・デクセランス）に輝く。
1979年にアムステルダム・バロック管弦楽団を設立し、1992年にはアムステルダム・バロック合唱団を併設。わけてもバッハの宗教曲やモーツァルトの交響曲の演奏・録音を通じて、オリジナル楽器演奏運動の雄となる。
ノリントン、ガーディナー、インマゼールといった指揮者たちが古楽のアプローチでロマン派音楽にも進出しつつあるのに対し、コープマンはベートーヴェン以降の音楽をオリジナル楽器アンサンブルで演奏することに関心を示しておらず、ハイドンやモーツァルトの作品も古典派ピッチではなくバロック・ピッチで演奏・録音を行ってきた。バッハのカンタータ全曲録音は、2005年を以って完了した。バッハのオルガン作品全集の録音を3度目の挑戦で成し遂げた。ソリストや指揮者としての数々の録音によって、数多くの受賞歴を誇っている。
2003年に、ワーナー傘下のエラート・レーベルから訣別して、独自のレーベル「アントワーヌ・マルシャン」を設立した。このレーベル名は、フラマン語の「トン・コープマン」をフランス語に訳したものである。同年、オランダ政府より叙勲されている。
ヤニック・ネゼ＝セガン（Yannick Nézet-Séguin、1975年 - ）は、カナダの指揮者。
教育学の教授を両親としてモントリオールに生まれる。5歳でピアノを始め、10歳で指揮者を目指すようになり、ケベック音楽院モントリオール校でピアノと室内楽を学ぶ一方、プリンストンのウェストミンスター・クワイヤー・カレッジで合唱指揮を学ぶ。
14歳でモントリオール・ポリフォニー合唱団のリハーサル指揮者を務め、19歳で同団体の監督に就任した他、モントリオール・オペラの合唱指揮者も務めた。1995年にはシャペル・ド・モントリオールを創設し、2000年にはモントリオール・オペラの音楽アドバイザーとグラン・モントリオール・メトロポリタン管弦楽団の首席指揮者並びに芸術監督に就任。2003年から2006年までヴィクトリア交響楽団の首席客演指揮者を務める。2005年頃からヨーロッパでの指揮活動も盛んになり、シュターツカペレ・ドレスデン、フランス国立管弦楽団などを指揮している。
2006年12月には2008年からロッテルダム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の音楽監督に、2007年11月には同じく2008年からロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の首席客演指揮者に就任することが発表された。2008年のシーズンからはアメリカ合衆国での指揮活動も本格化させ、シャルル・デュトワに招かれてフィラデルフィア管弦楽団にデビューした他、ボストン交響楽団、ロサンゼルス・フィルハーモニックなどに客演する。また、同年にはザルツブルク音楽祭でグノーの『ロメオとジュリエット』を指揮した。更に2009年から2010年にかけて、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、メトロポリタン歌劇場にデビューし、2011年1月にはライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団の定期演奏会に初登場した。

樫本 大進（かしもと だいしん、1979年3月27日 - ）は、日本のヴァイオリニスト。ベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団第1コンサートマスター。ドイツ在住。
ベルリン・フィルのコンマス就任前の、各種コンクールでの受賞歴や、ソリストとしての演奏活動も広く知られる。
父の当時の勤務地であったロンドンで生まれる。3歳からヴァイオリンを始め、恵藤久美子に師事した。父の転勤により、ニューヨークへ移り、7歳でジュリアード音楽院プレカレッジに入学し、田中直子に師事した。
1990年、11歳の時にリューベック音楽院で教鞭を執っていたザハール・ブロンに招かれ、リューベックへ移り、ドイツのギムナジウムに通いながら同音楽院の特待生としてブロンにヴァイオリンを師事した。同年、第4回バッハ・ジュニア音楽コンクールで第1位を獲得し、以後、リピンスキ・ヴィエニヤフスキ国際コンクール・ジュニア部門で第3位（1991年）、ユーディ・メニューイン国際コンクール・ジュニア部門で第1位（1993年）、第3回ケルン国際ヴァイオリン・コンクールで第1位（1994年）をそれぞれ獲得した。1995年、日本でアリオン賞を受賞した後も、1996年、フリッツ・クライスラー国際コンクールで第1位、ロン＝ティボー国際コンクールでは、史上最年少で第1位を獲得した。1997年10月、ギムナジウム高校課程を修了し、リューベック音楽院に正式に入学した。同年、日本でモービル音楽賞（奨励賞）を受賞。1998年、芸術選奨新人賞（音楽部門）受賞。1999年、19歳までブロンに師事したが、フライブルク音楽大学に移り、ベルリン・フィルのコンサートマスターを務めていたライナー・クスマウルに師事する。また、同年、ニューヨークのソニー・クラシカルとレコーディング契約を結び、デビューアルバムが発売された。2002年、NHK大河ドラマ「利家とまつ〜加賀百万石物語〜」の音楽でヴァイオリンを担当した。2004年、パリとウィーンでメンデルスゾーンのもう一つのヴァイオリン協奏曲であるニ短調を演奏して話題となった。
