完璧な形で残されたマイケルのボーカル音源には一切加工を施さず、ティンバランドら、世界屈指のプロデューサー達によってコンテンポライズされた8曲の新曲で構成されており、デラックスバージョンにはその素材曲と Love Never Felt So Good のデュエットバージョンも収録されている。
2014年3月31日、本作を発表。表題曲「Xscape（escape） 」はアルバム『Invincible 』のアウトトラック。
ティンバランドとエピック・レコード社長L.A.リードがエグゼクティブ・プロデューサーを務め、ロドニー・ジャーキンス、スターゲイト、ジョン・マクレインがプロデューサーを務めた。
ジェシー・ジョンソンは、メアリー・J・ブライジ、クエストラブ、ディアンジェロの参加した曲で演奏したことを明らかにしている。
音楽批評家からは死後のリリースということもあってか生前程評価は高くなく、エボニー誌は「亡くなった歌手の遺産をさびつかせる材料みたいだ」と評価している。一方で好評な意見も多く、ミックスマグは「『Invincible 』の次作というより『オフ・ザ・ウォール』のB面みたいだね」と評価している。。
2007年より、出場資格の選抜が行われている。 推薦選手(前年ランキング1位)、シード選手(前回グランプリの準決勝進出組、約12組)と 北海道3組、東北6組、東部24組、中部6組、西部12組、九州6組、大学生24組(全日本学生競技ダンス連盟)が選抜される。
Ibragimova was born in Polevskoy, Russian SSR, to a Bashkir family. Her family was musical, and she began playing the violin at the age of 4. At 5 she started at the Gnessin State Musical College in Moscow, studying under Valentina Korolkova, and by the age of 6 had started her career by playing with various orchestras, including the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra. She was aged 10 in 1996 when her father, Rinat Ibragimov, took up the post of principal double bass with the London Symphony Orchestra, and the family moved to England. In the following year, Ibragimova began her studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School (where her mother is professor of violin) under Natasha Boyarskaya.
In December 1998, Ibragimova performed with Nicola Benedetti at the opening ceremony of the 50th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at UNESCO in Paris; they played Bach's double violin concerto under the baton of Yehudi Menuhin. Menuhin died three months later, and Ibragimova performed the slow movement of the same concerto at his funeral in Westminster Abbey.
After finishing her studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Ibragimova went on to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for a year, and then to the Royal College of Music, studying under Gordan Nikolitch. Ibragimova has also studied with Christian Tetzlaff since 2000, most recently under the auspices of the Kronberg Academy Masters programme.
Together with other students from the Royal College, she formed the period-instrument string quartet Chiaroscuro, specialising in music from the classical period.
After winning several international competitions, in 2002 Ibragimova won the London Symphony Orchestra Music Scholarship (formerly the Shell Prize), which was an important boost to her solo career. The next breakthrough came in 2005 when Ibragimova played and directed Mozart's second violin concerto with the Kremerata Baltica in Mozartwoche at the Salzburg Mozarteum.
Ibragimova was a member of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme 2005-7. She has performed concertos with the London Symphony Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Philharmonia Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Radio-Sinfonie-Orchester Frankfurt, and the Seattle Symphony, working with conductors including Sir Charles Mackerras, Valery Gergiev, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Paavo Järvi, Richard Hickox and Osmo Vänskä. In 2012 Ibragimova directed a period-instrument orchestra, The Academy of Ancient Music, for the first time.
For recitals and chamber music, Ibragimova has appeared at venues including Wigmore Hall in London, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Mozarteum University of Salzburg, Musikverein in Vienna, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. She has appeared at festivals including Salzburg, Verbier, MDR Musiksommer, Lockenhaus, Manchester International, and Aldeburgh. With her regular recital partner, Ibragimova performed the complete Beethoven violin sonatas at the Wigmore Hall London in 2009/10 (the recordings of which were released on the Wigmore Hall Live label). In 2015 she performed the six Bach Solo Sonatas and Partitas in the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Promenade Concerts.
Her first CD for Hyperion Records was the complete violin works of Karl Amadeus Hartmann in 2007, which was followed by the two violin concertos of Nikolai Roslavets in 2008, a disc of the complete violin and piano works by Karol Szymanowski, and the JS Bach Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin in 2009.
1988年石川県と金沢市が中心となり設立した財団法人石川県音楽文化振興事業団を運営母体とし、2001年からは石川県立音楽堂を本拠地とし、定期演奏会を行なっている。毎年作曲家に新曲を委嘱するコンポーザー・オブザイヤー制度を敷く。常設のプロフェッショナル室内管弦楽団としては日本で最初の存在。初代常任指揮者には音楽監督の岩城宏之の推挙により、天沼裕子が就任した。通称は「アンサンブル金沢」、略称は英語名"Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa"の頭文字を取って「OEK」であるが、「アンカナ」と呼ぶ人もいる。
設立にあたっては、地方を本拠としながらも出身・国籍にかかわらず幅広く人材を募った。結成から数年は旧ソヴィエト連邦崩壊と重なったので亡命ロシア人奏者を豊富に擁することとなり、スラヴの響きがするオケと評された。現在の楽団員はそれほどスラヴ系に偏ってはいないが、精度の高いアンサンブル、特に弦楽合奏のビロードのような質感は依然としてこのオーケストラの美点といえる。
レパートリーはチャイコフスキーやシチェドリンなどのロシア物に始まり、ハイドンやモーツァルトの古典派音楽に軸足を置くが、ベートーヴェンやロマン派のブラームスもこの規模のオーケストラとは思えぬほど雄渾に演奏し、武満徹ら作曲家から毎年作品の提供を受けて現代の音楽にも挑戦し続けている。

José James attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In 2008, he debuted with his first album, The Dreamer, on the Brownswood label. Blackmagic followed in 2010. 2010's For All We Know came out on the Impulse! label. For All We Know became the winner of both the Edison Award and L'Académie du Jazz Grand Prix for best Vocal Jazz Album of 2010.
Often referred to as a jazz singer for the hip-hop generation, New York City-based vocalist José James combines jazz, soul, drum’n’bass, and spoken word into his own unique brand of vocal jazz. While he states his main influences as John Coltrane, Marvin Gaye, and Billie Holiday, his sound on early 12″ singles and in live performances brought to mind such icons of ’70s jazz-soul as Terry Callier, and his music felt more like an update of the fluid crossover approach of Gil Scott-Heron, while also being distinctly his own.
James released his full-length debut album, Dreamer, in 2008 on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood imprint. The album ended up earning him accolades worldwide for its blend of jazz, electronic, soul, and pop styles. It placed at number 21 in Jazz Times’ Top 50 for the year. Consequently, James played on prestigious stages all over the world, including those at the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Victoria Jazz Festival, Billboard Live Tokyo, Centro Cultural São Paolo, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Central Park Summerstage in New York, and London’s Royal Festival Hall. James made numerous guest appearances on recordings by the Junior Mance Trio, Jazzanova, Nicola Conte, Basement Jaxx, and Chico Hamilton, to name a few.
He followed Dreamer with Blackmagic in February of 2010. In May of that year, he also made his Impulse! debut with For All We Know, a collection of standards performed in duet with Belgian pianist Jef Neve. He toured relentlessly for the next year and a half, often sitting in with jazz musicians as well as headlining his own dates in Europe, Japan, and the United States. He signed to Blue Note Records in 2012, and issued “Trouble,” his first single for the label, in September of that year. His fourth album, No Beginning, No End, was released in January of 2013.
James began composing while on the road. New songs reflected a renewed interest in artists he listened to growing up (Nirvana, Radiohead) as well as newer ones who made an impression (Frank Ocean, James Blake). As a result, he cut While You Were Sleeping, a collection that reflected rock alongside R&B and jazz. It was released in June of 2014.
In commemoration of Billie Holiday’s 100th birthday, the singer he claimed — from the very beginning of his career — as his “musical mother,” James recorded nine songs written or associated with her. He fronted a band that included pianist Jason Moran, bassist John Patitucci, and drummer Eric Harland. Yesterday I Had the Blues was produced by Blue Note label-head Don Was and released in March of 2015. In 2017, José James was reborn as a powerful voice in contemporary R&B on Love in a Time of Madness, his vibrant new album which was released on February 24. ~ Matt Collar & Thom Jurek

NTV went on air on August 28, 1953, as Japan's first commercial television station and continues to be the country's leading broadcaster regularly attaining higher viewing rates. YTV, an NTV affiliate based in Osaka, is an influential television station in the Kansai region, western Japan.
公益財団法人読売日本交響楽団（よみうりにっぽんこうきょうがくだん、英語: Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo ）は、日本のオーケストラ。新聞社が母体となるオーケストラは、世界でもこの楽団だけである。日本オーケストラ連盟正会員。愛称は「読響（よみきょう）」。
1962年4月に、読売新聞社（現：読売新聞東京本社）、日本テレビ放送網、讀賣テレビ放送の3社が母体となって設立されたオーケストラである。同年9月に最初の公演を開催した。1967年には、アメリカの指揮者アーサー・フィードラー指揮による初の海外公演（アメリカ・カナダ）を挙行した。1968年にはペンデレツキの「ルカ受難曲」日本初演で、日本のオーケストラでは初めて「芸術祭大賞」を得た。1979年から1995年にかけてはゲンナジー・ロジェストヴェンスキーによるショスタコーヴィチの交響曲全曲演奏を、世界で初めて同一オーケストラ、同一都市で実施した。1982年、1987年、1992年にはそれぞれ三善晃、武満徹、西村朗に作品を委嘱し、世界初演を行った。2001年からは常任指揮者ゲルト・アルブレヒトの発案により「日本人若手作曲家委嘱シリーズ」を開始、望月京ら若手作曲家の委嘱作品を年に1曲のペースで初演した。アルブレヒトの退任後はこのシリーズは終了したが、新作の委嘱・初演は正指揮者であった下野竜也時代にも活発に続いていた。また2002年にはワーグナーの「パルジファル」を日本では久しぶりに舞台上演。2003年には三島由紀夫の原作に基づくハンス・ヴェルナー・ヘンツェのオペラ「午後の曳航」の世界初演も行った。
かつてはウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団やベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（いずれも当時）と同様に、団員を男性に限定していた。これは、音楽大学卒業者の女性比率が高い日本では異色であったが、現在は女性にも門戸を開いている。
東響コーラス（とうきょうコーラス）は、日本のアマチュア合唱団。「東京交響楽団と一体の演奏をし、より質の高い合唱付きオーケストラ曲のコンサートを提供する」ことを目的としている。
合唱や声楽の付いた作品を演奏するために、専属の合唱団の必要性を感じていた当時の楽団長金山茂人が1987年9月11日に創設した。 秋山和慶の提言を受け、入団の際のオーディション、さらには公演の度ごとに出演者を決めるオーディションが行われる。東京交響楽団の定期公演や、年末の第九演奏会、依頼演奏会などで演奏をしている。
団員はほとんどの演奏会で暗譜で演奏する。また公演曲ごとに、その言語を得意とする合唱指導者が指導を行うシステムとなっている。
2011年12月に『猛烈宇宙交響曲・第七楽章「無限の愛」』また2014年3月には『Neo STARGATE』などでももいろクローバーZのライブにコーラスとして参加した。

『宇宙戦艦ヤマト』の影響でアニメのファンとなり、高校時代には友達とペーパーアニメを自主製作した。高校卒業後、アニメ関連の専門学校に入学するも、求めていたアニメについての勉強できないことが分かり、4日で自主退学。アニメアール2st（現：スタジオ・ムー）に入社、村中博美に師事。
当時サンライズ作品等で突出した作画を披露していた谷口守泰の主宰する作画スタジオ・アニメアールが大阪にあることを知るが、住所が分からず、アニメージュ誌に手紙を出し編集長から連絡先の返信をもらい訪ねる。面接時、谷口守泰は不在で、代わりに面接を担当したのが村中博美だった。アニメアールの同期には小森高博、柳沢まさひで、沖浦啓之、逢坂浩司がいる。
アニメアールからスタジオ・ムーが分離してからはスタジオ・ムーに在籍し、劇場版『機動警察パトレイバー』を契機に上京してProduction I.Gへ移籍する。
テレビアニメ『サイコアーマーゴーバリアン』で初動画。初原画は『キャプテン翼』、初作画監督は『赤い光弾ジリオン』の第23話「恐怖! 魔のバイオ兵器」である。Production I.G社長の石川光久とはジリオン以来の付き合いである。

東宝ミュージカル『レ・ミゼラブル』で少年ガブローシュ役を演じていた従兄弟（橋本梓）の影響で、小学校3年生の時に劇団若草に入団した。
入団後すぐに子役の登竜門とされた『レ・ミゼラブル』や『サウンド・オブ・ミュージック』などのオーディションに合格。NHK大河ドラマには子役として2タイトルに出演するなど“名子役”の1人として名を連ねた。
中学3年生の1年間は高校受験の為に芸能活動を休止。学習院高等科に入学する。
学習院大学文学部哲学科に進学するも、中退。本人曰く「卒論より『ベガーズ・オペラ』を選びました」
ミュージカル『ベガーズ・オペラ』での演出家 ジョン・ケアードが『レ・ミゼラブル』のアンジョルラス役に抜擢。これを初めとして『ミス・サイゴン』のクリス役、『レ・ミゼ』のマリウス役などの大役が続くこととなる。
